Summary: Follow-up Betters Their Debut
Review: Following up their successful SPICE within just ten months of that first album, SPICEWORLD inexplicably manages to better their debut on many levels, not the least of which is an overall better set of songs and better singing. Is there anything here that matches the pure fun of 'Wannabe'or'Say You'll Be There'?Nope, but the ten tracks here manage to consistently outdo their predecessor on just about every other level. 'Stop' is a sterling Motown stomper, while Latin vibes are mined on 'Spice Up Your Life' and 'Viva Forever', long before Ricky or J.Lo entered the pictured. While the creative side got overall better grades at the time of its' release, there wasn't much airplay to be had, which is a shame considering that '..Life' and 'Stop' remain two of their best.

Summary: Don't Waste Your $$$
Review: Wow this movie was pretty bad. Stinky plot, terrible acting. Then again, what did you expect? A oscar-nominated film? If you are looking for a good movie with British speaking people, rent Sense and Sensability.

Summary: The Spice Girls are cool! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Review: I don't care what anyone says, the Spice Girls are a fantastic band!!! Their achievments include 9 UK No.1s, worldwide album sales of 40,000,000, promoting 10 products in 1997, and performing a sell-out worldwide tour. The first album from the Spice Girls was released in the UK in November 1996. It hit No.1 and didn't budge until the following year! It sold 2,000,000 in the UK alone (the average album sells 350,000 over here). It was estimated that the Spice Girls had 8.5 million child fans in the UK (there are only 11 million children in the UK aged 1-16!). They were the biggest pop phenomenom to hit the world since The Beatles. They performed 30-dates in the UK in March/April 1998. Within 10 minutes of the tickets going on sale, they were all sold out. They cracked America faster than The Beatles. Their 1997 Brit Awards performance with Geri Halliwell's infamous Union Jack dress was voted the Greatest Brit Awards Performance Ever in its 25 year history. They have appeared on more than 20,000 newspaper covers around the world in 5 years and had at least one No.1 in 130 countries. Spiceworld is the best album by the Spice Girls in my opinion. The first, Spice was a bit too poppy and raw for my liking. But Spiceworld blends pop, RnB, dance, ballads and rock into one.

Spice Up Your Life (10/10) - The fifth consecutive UK No.1 for the Spice Girls in October 1997 - you know they're doing somethig right when they knock the biggest selling single of all time off the top spot - Elton John's Princess Diana Tribute, Candle In The Wind.

Stop (9/10) - The only Spice Girls single not to hit No.1 in the UK (it made No.2) in March 1998.

Too Much (10/10) - A beautiful ballad. It was the UK christmas No.1 for 1997 and their sixth consecutive UK No.1.

Saturday Night Divas (10/10) - A great track with an RnB feel to it.

Never Give Up On The Good Times (10/10) - The best song on the album. The best part is the very beginning - the sound that sounds like a frog!!!

Move Over (8/10) - A short track at only 2:46 seconds. The theme tune to their UK Pepsi Adverts that netted each girl a cool $5million. Their other endorsements included Impulse deoderant, Playstation, Mercedes, Walkers crisps and Polaroid Cameras.

Do It (10/10) - This was my favourite track when I got this album for christmas 1997. It still sounds as good as it did then - five years ago.

Denying (10/10) - The second of two RnB tracks. It has a really cool, mellow feel to it.

Viva Forever (10/10) - A beautiful ballad. It became their 7th UK No.1 (their 8th release) and was one of the fastest selling singles in the UK ever as it was released just a month after Geri left on May 31st 1998.

The Lady Is A Vamp (10/10) - A really cool song to end such a top album! Much better than If U Can't Dance from the first album. This is really tounge-in-cheek and pokes fun at famous people!!! I love it!!!

For all you Americans out there who haven't heard of the Spice Girls for years, no they haven't split up!!! They're just concentrating hard on their solo careers.

Geri Halliwell has gone on to release 6 singles, 4 of which went straight to No.1. She has also released 2 smash-hit Top 5 albums called Schizophonic and Scream If You Wanna Go Faster. Estimated personal fortune: £33,000,000.

Emma Bunton has released 4 solo singles. A No.1 called What Took You So Long which held Janet Jackson off the top spot with All For You in April 2001 and a No.2 in November 1999 called What I Am. It was the chart battle of the year, she entered at No.2 while Geri got to No.1 with Lift Me Up! Emma also released a smash-hit Top 5 album called A Girl Like Me. Estimated personal fortune: £29,000,000.

Victoria Beckham has released three singles. A No.2 called Out Of Your Mind in August 2000 and two No.6's called Not Such An Innocent Girl and A Mind Of Its Own. She also released a top-10 hit album titled Victoria Beckham. She also got married to footballer David Beckahm in July 1999. Their three year old son, Brooklyn will have a sister or brother in September 2002; Victoria announced in March 2002 she was pregnant again. Estimated personal fortune: £34,000,000.

Melanie B has released 5 hit singles. A No.1 in September 1998. It's called I Want You Back and it's a duet with Missy Elliott!!! She went on to have Top 5 successes with Tell Me in Septemeber 2000 and Feels So Good in February 2001. She also released a hit album, Hot in October 2000. Estimated personal fortune: £29,000,000.

Melanie C has released six smash hit singles. Her first was the No.3 hit When You're Gone in September 1998 - a duet with Bryan Adams. She followed this up a year later with Goin' Down and Northern Star, both entered at No.4 in September and December 1999 retrospectively. She was back in March 2000 with Never Be The Same Again - a duet with Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes of TLC fame which rocketed to No.1 knocking Geri Halliwell's Bag It Up from No.1! Another No.1 followed in July 2000 called I Turn To You. All tracks are taken from her No.3 album Northern Star. Estimated personal fortune: £31,000,000.

The Spice Girls don't seem to be doing too badly in Europe - they just need to win back the fans they lost in the US. They were the biggest selling band of the 90's in the UK and deserve some credit.

Summary: Spice up YOUR life
Review: No matter what anyone else says, I think that the Spice Girls were a vital part of the music scene in the 1990's. This album is proof of that.

Spice Up Your Life - This song is fun. It's just fun...you can dance around to it, goof off, etc. It's just a good, fun song with very lively sounds.

Stop - This one has a jazz feel by the horns, but the vocal part is definitely very poplike with the harmonies and lyrics. Kind of the happy 60's pop vibe. This one is fun, but not as fun as

Spice Up Your Life. It's more like how a middle school kid might feel about their crush, which was appropriate when I got the cd.

Too Much - Softer, more romantic sound. Very sultry sounds in it, too.

Saturday Night - Wonderful harmonies...fun, yet somewhat sultry song.

Never Give Up on the Good Times - A silly song with a good message. Lots of fun, with a frog sound in it. It kind of has a disco-era type theme to the background part.

Move Over - The former Pepsi song! Hehe...remember when this used to be played on the Pepsi commercials. LOL! If you do, then you know part of the gist of the song. It's fun like that, but that part *from the commercial* is at the very beginning before the song really 'starts'. Just another fun SG song.

Do It - Their harmonies are great in this one. There is definitely a bit of sassiness in this song...very cool.

Denying - This song is really cute and has a good message.

Viva Forever - This is my favorite Spice Girls song! Very mature for them. It has a beautiful and romantic sound. The guitar and strings just add the perfect elegance to the song. The voices are perfect on this song, too.

The Lady is a Vamp - Starts off with a flapper/blues type jazz thing. Very fun. It continues with the jazz theme and it makes it sound really cool. Definitely not your everyday pop sound.

I think this is quite diverse for an album that some think is 'pure bubblegum pop'. Sure, some of it is sugary stuff, but there are other non-sugary songs. Most of the songs, however, are fun. I think most people would enjoy this, even if they didn't realize that they could enjoy Spice Girls' music.

Summary: The Spice Girls are lucky ratings can't go below 1!
Review: This movie sucks, simple as that. There's no reason to watch and only god know's why it even made a dollar at the box office. Completely useless. I would go on, but it upsets me even thinking about that god-awefull movie again.

Summary: Go Spice! Go Spice! Go Spice!
Review: This cassette is cool. I like all the tracks including Saturday Night, and Too Much. I saw the movies of the Spice Girls and I decided to buy this cassette. I've been listening to it back in 1999. Wow! It's been a long time since I listened to an album quite like this. By the audio cassette. You'll enjoy it as much as I do.

Summary: add Spice to your life!
Review: The Spice Girls (the original group, back when Ginger was still a Spice Girl) at their very best!!

The is a great, whacky, humorously campy look at the Spice Girls; a self-satire. The girls poke fun at themselves and the whole world of pop music!

It's the Spice Girls first big concert. The girls are nervous enough as it is, without having to deal with the pitfalls of the music world; a newspaper editor who hates them; a photographer who appears from out of nowhere; and a slave-driver of a manager.
Will the Spice Girls first show be a success? will they break up?
A comedy full of fun, music and Spice

Summary: Boring.
Review: Spice world is nothing but a waste of time. I will not reccomend
it. So go out and do somethingwith your time. Don't watch this
super-stupid movie!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: C'mon people!
Review: Why take this movie so seriously? I bet more than half of the people that rated it 1 star didn't actually see it but they did it just cause they are the Spice Girls. But don't judge a book by its cover y'know, watch the movie, it's hilarious how they make fun of themselves. Even if you don't like them you'll laugh or maybe saying to yourself "what were they thinking?" but those are the reactions they want, to make an impact on people. Change your way of thinking when watching otherwise you'll end up bitter like these "customers" who "saw" the movie.
