Summary: Aptly named movie
Review: If i had a choice, i would not have spent the money i did to watch this extremely lame movie at the cinema. It started out ok but as it progressed, became more and more INTOLERABLE! The plot didn't go anywhere and didn't succeed to teach the viewers anything except that it is dumb. By the end of the movie i was feeling rather incredulous that anyone would bother to produce such trash! In all, this film is not worth your time or money. Don't even bother renting or buying a used copy.

Summary: The Cohen Brothers are at it again but this isnt their best
Review: At the beginning of this movie Geoffrey Rush (Ned Kelly, Finding Nemo) comes home to his wife who was schtuping a pol boy and is stabbed in the ass with an award he was. Then there's Catherine Zeta-Jones (The Mask Of Zorro, Ocean's 12) who sends Cedric The Entertainer (Original Kings Of Comedy, Barbershop) to spy on her husband, Edward Herrman (The Shaft, The Lost Boys) and he is cheating on her, so she gets a prenup. George Clooney (From Dusk Till Dawn, Tv's E.R.) plays a successful jittery lawyer who falls for Jones. Meanwhile Jones marries Billy Bob Thorton (Friday Night Lights, Armageddon) and sortly after they do Clooney and Jones decide to marry each other and I know my review is sort of confusing but this is what I am typing. Soon after Jones and Clooney marry, Clooney figures out something and has an Wheezy Joe go and kill Jones but it back fires and Wheezy Jones dies. It was all crazy and in a blur but all the actors give top notch performances, especially by Clooney, Cedric and Jones. This is written by Ethan and Joel Cohen but directed by Joel. This is basically what you'd expect from a Cohen Brother movie...wacky characters and situations. Clooney seems like he's playing his figgidy O Brother Where Art Thou? character in some places. Jones is just hot. Also starring Richard Jenkins (Changing Lanes, Say It Isnt So) and if you watch closely when they show Billy Bob Thorton in that doctor drama, the other doctor next to him is Bruce Campbell (The Evil Dead Franchise) in an unbilled cameo. Bottom line: Intolerable Cruelty is a kooky Cohen brother movie but it isnt their best. The old lawyer guy hooked up to those respirators was a hoot. Best Line would have to be Cedric The Entertainer's "Im gonna nail ya in the ass" quote and the game show at the end made up of the same name was funny as well.

Summary: Did you miss something?
Review: 'Intolerable Cruelty' was one of those movies that I watched for the first time as an impromptu and fell in love with it. I thought the plot was interesting and creative on it's own terms. I was reading one of the other reviews, and it stated that the movie had no twist. I would like to mention that the movie does have an interesting twist and - I don't want to ruin it for those who haven't seen it - if that viewer didn't think there was a twist I'd like to ask them: Did you miss a large chunk of the movie?

Summary: It's not what I expected
Review: I wanted to watch this movie right after I saw the TV commercial half a year ago. I am glad that I waited to rent the DVD. As a matter of fact, I always like to watch movies on the subject of gold diggers -- beautiful women cleverly deal with rich men, because it's fun. I expect it's something like Dirty Rotten Scoundrels or Heartbreakers. But this one is awful, stupidly made. The other two are far better. I have no idea what the two characters were fussing about. It did not offer any interesting twist and turn. If you are looking for movies you can laugh out loud over, watch Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Heartbreakers, two truly wicked comedies.
