Summary: Ohmigodican'tstoplaughing
Review: Hahahahahahaha!! Oh, heeeheeeheeeheeehheeee! Somebody help! Oh, my lord! There has never, EVER, in all of human history, taking into account every single movie ever made that I've never even seen, been a funnier movie. I do not exaggerate when I tell you that I was ROLLING ON THE FLOOR with laughter while watching this movie. Watch for a brilliant series of shots that combines a Corvette and Carlos Santana and the Santana Band.

Summary: one of the best comedy films in years
Review: The Big Lebowski is definitely one of the most hilarious films in a long time. It really has no mainstream plot but that only adds to the humor. Basically, it's about a bunch of people looking for a million dollars.

This movie features lots of great jokes. About half a dozen of them that are almost non-stop and make you laugh again when you think about it. Jeff Bridges is the film's biggest attraction. He goes far out in his role as Jeff Lebowski, or the Dude. His character's stupidity, laziness, and sarcasm provide much humor. Steve Buscemi seemed wasted in his role, however, as the bowler Donny who never gets a chance to finish a sentence. But that's only a very minor problem. If you're looking for an excellent comedy film, watch The Big Lebowski.

Summary: STAY OUT OF MALIBU...DEADBEAT!!!
Review: Finally, a movie that made me laugh harder than Animal House. Don't watch this movie for the first time with any expectations...just let it take you away. The Coen brothers revealed their true genious with this one. Just go with it.

The Dude Abides.

Summary: Shut the **** up, Donny!
Review: This movie rocks!!! That Donny quote has become a staple of my vocabulary, along with many of my friends to whom I have recommended the movie. I watch this movie every time I get the chance. All I can say is, if you haven't seen it yet, SEE IT!! You will not be disappointed.

Summary: A great movie!!! I laughed the entire movie...
Review: Everytime I watch this movie, it keeps getting better. There is an excessive amount of cursing, but this only adds to the complexity of each character. This movie is really made well, each character is very defined, and his or her actions are consistent throughout the entire movie. I reccomend this movie to anyone with a sense of humor, but I have found that its humor is more likely to appeal to males than to females.

Summary: It doesn't get any funnier (or weirder) than this
Review: What can be said about a movie that makes you laugh uncontrollably every three minutes? I honestly have not seen a comedy of this magnitude in years. It's the totally bizarre touches and the over-the-top characters that make it great. Jeff Bridges is a riot as the loser-stoner "The Dude", aka Jeff Lebowski, who happens to share the name of a very wealthy businessman whose wife owes money all over town. Two men, thinking the Dude is the wealthy Lebowski, come to his house to collect and then pee on his rug, a rug that "tied the room together." All the Dude wants is to be compensated for it. The wealthy Lebowski calls the Dude after his wife is kidnapped, asking him to make the ransom delivery. He brings his crazy Vietnam vet bowling buddy John Goodman along, and things go to hell from there. The Dude is pursued by a group of German nihilists who threaten to "cut off his johnson", and by a "vaginal" feminist artist, who happens to be the daughter of the wealthy Lebowski. While the plot is funny enough, it is the little touches that make it work. Jesus the bowler is priceless, and the eulogy of a fallen bowling comrade is too hilarious for words. Mainstream audiences who relish stuff like "The Waterboy" may think it's too weird, but it's too bad that they don't know what they are missing. Anybody who wants to see a truly funny movie should see "The Big Lebowski."

Summary: The Best Comedy Ever Made!!! Ethan & Joel Cohen's Best!
Review: The Big Lebowski is a hilarious comedy. The unique and interesting story is marvelously directed. It's musical score and soundtrack fit it perfectly. In addition dialog is incredible. The characters have unique and comical personalities. In general nothing was wrong with this movie.

Summary: Got the Quentin Edge
Review: I just saw this movie for the first time and thought it was great! It definitely had that Tarantino edge. Dan Goodman was totally hilarious..the best movie I've seen him in yet! I had to buy it the next day.

Summary: Great Movie
Review: The poor reviews given to this film don't give it justice. This is easily one of the 5 best movies I have ever seen.

Summary: "There's a beverage here, Man!!"
Review: "The Dude" appreciates the simple things in life: beer, bowling, baths, beverages, and clean rugs. This becomes obvious in the movie when The Dude's main concern while being kidnaped becomes keeping his beverage upright.

If you like creative, fun, and semi-politically incorrect movies, then you'll love this one. My friends can stop quoting it.
