Summary: Daria- Can't see how ya wouldn't love this chick!
Review: OK- so any real Daria fan would know this isn't her very best work, but I loved Daria: Is It Fall Yet? and it was a great transition from the fourth to the fifth season. Daria is back in all her sarcastic glory, and this time must deal with the fact that she and Jane are at odds over Daria's new beau Tom, which is Jane's ex. However, it works out well in the end. The part about Jane's sexuality at art camp being questioned was probably unnecessary, but it inevitably boosted her confidence when she and Daria are reunited at the end of the summer. And of course Helen and Jake are up to their old tricks, that is, alienating Daria further. Overall, a stellar performance! I would have to say that I hope Is It College Yet? will be better, though I loved the recent highlight show, Daria: Look Back in Annoyance. As for Is It Fall Yet?, any true fan should own this movie.

Summary: Is It Fall Yet??
Review: The movie, Is It Fall Yet? is a good movie. If you have ever felt like you were the odd one, then Daria is the cartoon for you. With her smart one-liners and quick wit, she proves to be a character a social outcast can relate to. The movie revolves around the idea of getting away from home until the next school year. If you like cartoons, smart-a** comments, and shows that mock society, you will love Daria's: Is It Fall Yet?.

Summary: If you like Daria, buy this DVD. More may follow.
Review: There are moves afoot in fanland to ask those who can look at the master tapes to release all of Daria on DVD. The best thing one can do toward making this happen is buying this DVD.

Daria is too good a series to allow it to fade away. You know you want it, just buy it.

Summary: Wonder and Clever!!!
Review: This DVD was without a doubt worth every penny!! This film and the series in general was without a doubt a truly unique and thought provoking! This show was also a great satire of the pre 9/11 style over substance teen culture of the later Clinton years with such annoying fads like Jail bait girl singers, bland boybands, and dumb shows like "Dawsons Creek" and "TRL". Daria proved that not all teens were into the tackyness of the TRL generation.(Ironicly Carson Daily does a guest appearence in this movie:)! So far it has my pick as the 2nd best series(Animated and overall!!) of the 1990's..(Not to far behind "The Simpsons") Unlike alot of cartoons out there today ("South Park" in particular!! Hasn't Kenny died enough yet?!?)The show and the characters developed and showed that everybody has there good sides and bad sides. Even the supposed "Villans" like Miss Li and Sandi showed possiblities of having a good side. Its an Absolute shame that the show has recently come to an end. But thankfully its going out on a high note!! We are going to miss you girl!!

Summary: A WONDERFUL DVD
Review: This is a wonderful DVD.
I had missed this TV movie when it was on TV and was very disappointed. I was very happy when I saw it in a store.

The movie is about Daria's summer. Her mother doesn't want her sitting around all summer vacation (again, "like last time") so she signs her up to work at a camp with Timothy the principal and Anthony the teacher with the strange eye. LOL

She is a councelor at the camp. Timothy never lets anyone go outside and makes them stay in to do crafts. Timothy is later disappoionted when they all like "Uncle Anthony" better than him.

Daria becomes close with a boy who hates summer like she does. He later thinks that Timothy told her to talk to him and gets mad at her. You'll have to see the movie to find out how that works out :)

Of course it contains everyone's fav characters like Brittany & Kevin, and of course the famous Fashion club with Quinn, Sandy, Stacey, & Tiffany.

Quinn is being tutored over the summer, and the rest of the club decides to too. That doesn't work out well though, LOL

Quinn ends up being the only one of them still being tutored, There is more controversy with this, but I don't wanna give too much more away :).

THE DVD also contains two bonus episodes that aired right before the movie was on TV. I recommend watching the two episodes IN ORDER before watching the movie. Just to refresh your memory.

And of course in THE MOVIE Jane Lane is still upset with Daria over the whole Tom thing (if you don't know what I'm talking about, you should DEFINATELY watch the episodes first! LOL

Enjoy The Movie! (and episodes, lol)

Summary: Will it ever be fall gor Daria?
Review: This TV movie shows what the characters do during summer break. Daria volunteers at the It's OK To Cry Corral, Mr. O'Neill's touchy-feely summer camp for overly sensitive children, where his regimen of staying indoors and exploring the "inner child" is not popular with the campers. Meanwhile, the other counselor at the camp, angry Mr. DeMartino, proves much more popular with the campers and rediscovers his passion for teaching, and Daria tries to bond with Link, a lonely young boy who is just like her.

Daria also tries dating Tom for a while, but becomes alienated by the lifestyle of his super-wealthy family and starts pushing him away. Jane goes to an artists' colony in the middle of nowhere for the summer--partly to get away from Daria, whom she still hasn't forgiven for stealing Tom away--and has trouble making friends with the other artists, whom she finds pretentious. She does make one friend, Allison, until she finds Allison is actually a bisexual who only wants her sexually. Eventually, Daria and Trent pay Jane a visit. Daria and Jane finally make up for good, and Jane even suggests that Daria give Tom another shot.

Quinn decides to spend the summer getting tutored so that she can improve her PSAT score (and get into a "party college"). She starts to like learning new things, and develops a crush on her tutor, David, who doesn't feel the same way about her but tells her that she has a lot more potential than the "loser friends" she hangs out with.

Brittany and Kevin get jobs as lifeguards, and naturally can't do anything right. Jodie is forced into spending every waking moment doing extracurricular activities, and Mack gets a hellish job driving an ice cream truck to pay off a debt to his father. These circumstances make it difficult for Jodie and Mack to see each other--until Mack comes up with the perfect replacement at his job once his debt is paid off.

Summary: Not the best of Daria but still good
Review: While I had a few problems with Is It Fall Yet? it is still better than episodes like "Depth Takes a Holiday" and "Fizz Ed".
I think it would have been a lot better if Tom had just left the picture and not been a triangle. I also think the whole subplot with Jane at the art camp and her sexuality being questioned was stupid and unnecessary and Jane should have stayed in Lawndale to work things out with Daria. It was still very good for a tv movie but I hope Is It College Yet? will be a little better.
