King Kong vs. Godzilla

Summary: Enjoyable silliness ,but an insipid looking kong
Review: One of the most popular of the original godzilla films in its home country, this is a enjoyable but silly film. In part it is a satire of the genre, but whatever the film was trying to do is forgotten as soon as Kong comes on screen. Effects supervisor Tsuburya (not the correct spelling,sorry)created many fine effects in his life,but this was not one of them. He managed to create one of the most god awful monsters in film history!A hysterical shaggy ape, worse than any seen in the most slipshod hollywood serials. Sadly, he did no better when he returned to Kong a few years later with King Kong Escapes.Still, the movie IS enjoyable, with a sort of all star wrestling final battle.However,other films in the series are better. see the original film, Godzilla vs the Thing, Destroy all monsters or any of the new series from Biolante through Destroyer (1989-1995)

Review: This movie features the worlds two most famous monsters.I do think the Kong suit looks pretty dumb but I still think it is a pretty good movie.

Summary: A half-way decent beween the kings of monsters
Review: The basic plot is some reporters bring King Kong to Japan, then Godzilla shows up and he wins the first fight. Then later when Kong gets recharged they both fall into the drink. The weird thing in this movie is that in the Japanese version Godzilla was the winner and KK won in the American version.

Summary: A little corny but a very exciting movie
Review: This is one of the first Godzilla movies I saw except for "Godzilla King of the Monsters". I was certain that King Kong would kick Godzilla's butt, however Godzilla seemed to roast Kong. But in the end, King Kong showed Godzilla he ment buissness. It pretty much ended in a draw, but since they clashed and fell off a cliff into the water, and only Kong came up I asumed that Kong pretty much won. This was a little corny in the movements but this was(and still is) a good movie.

Review: After angilas died in godzilla raids again godzilla was lured in to a ice berg. then in king kong vs godzilla godzilla escapes from the ice berg and rampages arcoss japan and later some people go to faro lsland to get king kong which first fights an octpus. and then it is sent to japan by some people in order to fight godzilla.

Review: Trust me, see this movie. It's the classic battle. Afer years of betting on who would win, pull out your dollar bills and pray! The only thing that stunk was that it ended in a draw.

Review: Despite the poor dubbing and flimsy plot this film is still worth watching. The ultimate battle between Kong and Godzilla is fantastic and shouldn't be missed by any giant monster fan. The ending is good and the winner of the battle is deserving of his victory!

Summary: It was enjoyable. But the dialogue and dubbing was silly
Review: Kong is brought to Tokyo from his island looking realy bad and raggy. Godzilla breaks out of an iceberg and the two monsters clash. Unfortunatly, idoutic Kong wins. Too bad. It's still interesting even though the dialogue is positivly ridiculous "No more! I'm sick of Godzilla!". Also intrusive is the removal of Akira Ifukube's wonderful score. It's still worth the rental price, though.

Review: The monkeys at it again!!! Godzilla is the only monster to ever get beaten by a stupid old monkey. Godzilla is good in this one (not as good as godzilla and mothra: the battle for earth).END
