Summary: A good first Bond movie!
Review: This movie is awsome! Sean Connery is the best Bond actor ever! This was about the 6th Bond I'd seen. (I've seen 16 of 'em!) Dr. No is pretty cool, but the fight between him and Bond should have been longer! But they get longer as the Bond movies keep comin'! It follows the book pretty well. One of the best!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: One of the Best Bond Movies
Review: Taking into consideration that the Movie was made in 1962 , it's a Very Good Movie. Connery plays the character with Great Ease. He's certainly the Best Bond. The Movie has it all - Action, Suspense, Drama. My only problem with this Movie is that the fight between Bond and Dr No is pretty short. Ursula Andress is good as Honey Rider. This is the only Movie in which we don't see Desmond Llewylynn who is still there in TND. The Best scene in the Movie is when Bond fights with the Tarantula. Joseph Wiseman is very good as Dr No. This Movie is a definite Watch for all Bond fans and ofcourse Connery Fans.

Summary: Great storyline, but lacks action.
Review: Dr. No is, and always will be, one of my favorite Bond movies, but it still has many faults. The storyline is quite intriguing and it takes place in an exotic location full of mystery, but it never really seems to reach a real climax. For instance, the most suspensful part of the movie is when the tarantula is creeping up Bond, and not when he is fighting Dr. No, an obvious mistake. In fact Dr. No never really accomplishes the fear and terror that made so many Bond villains timeless, he just seems to be there for the scenery. But all in all this was made in 1962 and was the first Bond movie, so I commend the makers.

Summary: A fairly good film, could be better

Summary: Bond At His Best !!!
Review: This is bond at his best. In my opinion nobody is better then Sean Connery as James Bond the most resouceful action hero to date. This motion pictur takes you from airports, hotels, jamaca and to the thrilling climax inside the illusive Dr. No's hideout.

Summary: A Great Start to the Series
Review: This movie is an awesome introduction to James Bond, a character that was known only to spy novel enthusiasts for the previous nine years(starting with 1953's Casino Royale). Connery proves himself to be the best Bond of all time. However, the small quips and one-liners that became known later on in the film series are not really present here. In this film, Bond is a very serious guy, brutal when he needs to be, and very short even with colleagues. However, that does not detract from the quality of the movie, and Connery is well-supported. Jack Lord plays the first Felix Leiter, and Ursula Andress is Honey Wilder, Bond's squeeze during the last half of the film.
