Review: This has to be the funniest movie i have ever seen. Mainly because i am a huge john belushi fan. This movie is set around the zoo delta frat house. The movie follows many of the members and new pledges of delta as they throw toga parties, take road trips, and try to keep away from dean wormer who is determined to kick them out of faber. This is the ultimate college movie. I definatly recommend that everyone see this film!

Review: What the heck was "Th3e House of High Fidelity" talking about a few reviews back? "'Animal House' has not survived the advance in comedy that we are now experiencing in film today."? Huh? What are those advances in comedy? Do you mind telling us?

The only advance in comedy that anyone need care about is if it makes you laugh. And this movie will make you laugh. And BTW Mr."Th3e House of High Fidelity", the movie takes place in the early 60s not the 50s.

Summary: Greatest College Movie Ever!
Review: This movie is the epitome of what a college movie should be! Belushi by far is the show stealer, as Bluto Blutosky, and all the characters make this "fraternity" rock! Sure this movie may have inspired some craziness for us when we went through college, but come on! If you want something more modern, try PCU, but no movie about college or fraternities will ever compare to the funny, crazy, and greatness of what was produced in National Lampoon's Animal House!

Review: A groundbreaking film in its day, however, "Animal House" has not survived the advance in comedy that we are now experiencing in film today. The rawness of comedy has evolved past this nostalgic trip back to the 1950's and the film's release in the late 1970's. "American Graffeti" has held up much better. Recomended for die-hard Belushi fans only!

Review: The video transfer is extremely good. It is a very clean print; no pops or other defects.

The sound is Right and Left Stereo with Subwoofer. While this is not Dobly 5.1, it does an adequate job.

If you are a fan of Animal House I would recommend this DVD

I have to say that the cast are excellent, the music totally brilliant, and that it it has inspired many a good nuight in opr out ta,ming on the personas of the the characters portrayed. I even know a guy who was at an American College dutrring the time this film is set, who clasims that "Animal House" only skims the surface.

See it tobelieve it, see it to dream it, see it to LIVE IT. Anyone from 15 to 500 will appreciate where this film is coming from, and the cult will live on into the 22nd Century.

Summary: You guys up for a toga party?
Review: Possibly the funniest movie of all time. I don't even try toestimate how many times I've seen this (friends and family estimate300+!), and I still crack up. Okay, it's not the most politically correct movie in the world, but anyone who doesn't double over in laughter at least once while watching this needs to have their pulse taken. Tons of catch phrases ("They took the bar!" "Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son," etc.), excellent early sixties tunes, and John Belushi at his most manic--what could be better? I can watch this movie a zillion times and still laugh (and probably will before I'm through . . . )! END

Review: This is the best frat movie ever! Any movie that stars John Belushi is great and this one is the best. Whether it's the parties, the vheating, the sex, or anything else this the best frat movie I've ever seen. It is a great family movie but if you have kids under 16 I'd get the PG-13 version.
