Summary: Can a DVD release be far away?
Review: With the tragic passing of Michael Wayne, The Dukes son, will this sad event perhaps trigger the release of THATM and possibly other classics like McClintock? We all remember when Goodtimes released a crumby transfer of McClintock and the Estate of John Wayne countered with an "OFFICIAL" authorized version thru BATJAC Productions. Perhaps there is hope yet and Patrick Wayne and his sister will let loose one of cinema's finest treasures in DVD with all the refinements DVD has to offer!

Summary: THIS FILM M-U-S-T BE RE-RELEASED IMMEDIATELY!
Review: When I see some of the garbage that HAS been released on DVD, I cannot understand WHY this great film remains in the
film cellars. I was 11 years old when the film came out, and saw it over and over again --- probably twenty times! Saw it on TV a few times many, many years ago sandwiched between all of those horrible commercials.
I have never been a fan of John Wayne. In fact, I always have gone out of my way to avoid his movies. But in this film,
he has been surrounded by an outstanding supporting cast -- David Brian, Claire Trevor, Lorainne Day, Phil Harris, Jan Sterling,
Robert Stack, and god knows who else. All are incredible and all give this ensemble piece everything they have, which is a great deal. The music is outstanding ---- the whole atmosphere beautifully realized ------ and most of all, it brings the best
that Hollywood had to offer in the middle 1950's. PLEASE, PLEASE......PLEASE GIVE IT TO US!

Summary: The High and Mighty
Review: The movie HIGH AND MIGHTY was of John Wayne's greatest, when I was told it would not be release because legal reasons. I was excited when I saw this movie on the auction by Video Den Collection or RAREVIDEO same people. I jump at the chance. Paid a High price but I wanted this movie. Lord behold be careful of this movie, It was of POOR quality copy and I was unable to look at this unrealistic COPY. Be careful out there.

Summary: The Duke at his Best!
Review: I am one of the very lucky people that taped this movie back in 1983. As I watch it occasionally, I realize what a brilliant piece of work this movie is. I understand that the Wayne Foundation (Michael & Patrick Wayne) owns the rights to this and many of the Duke's movies. The Wayne Foundation is a not for profit enterprise devoted towards finding a cure for cancer. As we all want to fight this disease, I can't think of a better way to raise needed funds and to please millions of old and new fans of this fantastic film. I encourage all fans to write to the Wayne Foundation to release THATM and also an official version of McClintock. Look what happened when Goodtimes released a crummy version and the Foundation responded with their own release. We fans deserve remastered, widescreen DVD's. I'll be the first one in line to order.

Summary: COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT.
Review: Who owns this movie and why is`nt it on release. I saw it at a young age in the 5o`s when it first came out I think it was one of the early cinemascope productions.I have given it 5 stars but can only remember it as an early disaster movie involving a plane crash. I know it had an all star cast including Claire Trevor, Robert Stack and Robert Newton. The real star of course being John Wayne who I believed walked with a limp and whistled that wonderful Dimitri Tiomkin theme.BUT WHERE IS IT..AND WHY.
Living in the U.K I believe it has never been shown over hereon TV compleatly lost. The Conqueror still is`nt available here fortunatly I was able to import a copy. McLintock came out here and was badly edited with overdubbed music. If this is the copy that is available at the moment I urge everyone not to buy it. (...) While I am complaining come on Warner where is Errol Flynn. The Sea Hawk, Capt Blood and the best of all Robin Hood. There are thousands of us out here spending our money replacing our favorite movies on DVD. This is your chance to rip us off again by charging full price for old material. But we are not complaining. Give us the goods and we will buy it.

Review: Only John Wayne can make a movie like this work so wonderfully, especially with all the co stars. I only wish he could make other movies for us.
