Summary: Great Movie-Good Transfer
Review: While not pristine by any means the Roan transfer is by far the best ive seen. It does have a glitch or two but nothing bad enough to spoil the film. The main problem it has is the sound quality. So if you love this movie, as i do, this is the version to buy. For $14 you cant go wrong.

Summary: Very Unusual
Review: White Zombie is truly the most stylized and unusual film I have ever seen. It is strange that it will most likely not scare, but it is very mesmerizing, and it has a very mysterious and surreal aura throughout. The story of a young woman turned into a zombie to help Bela Lugosi's Legendre is a bit creative (there are no monsters here). Bela Lugosi makes the most of his role. He is better known as the suave and seductive Dracula, but in this role he shows some striking differences from that even though he is often seen controlling his zombies with his eyes. As Legendre and Dracula, he seems to be almost completely different people! White Zombie also looks quite unreal, and many images will stand out. The acting and music blend together with the athmosphere so well that the film has a dreamlike quality to it, and that is a rarity among horror films.
