The picture quality in these early films is not very good.
In saying that, anyone interested in how Chaplin started out
will find these early films very interesting.
There are 7 films in this, vol 3.The shortest film is just 6.29 minutes. The longest 13.36 minutes. All are very basic early Keystone films.One of the best 'The Rounders'features Chaplin alongside Fatty Arbuckle.They play drunks being given a hard time by their wives.They work so well together you can't help wondering why they never teamed up more often as a partnership.
These early films are great to watch if you have any interest in early silent films,but if your new to the comedy of Charlie Chaplin start on one of his later films.or better still,one of the DVDS that feature cleaned up and restored early classics.
