Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Go Cat Go
Review: The one true Rock film that should be released on DVD is Bill Haley's Rock Around the Clock. Also featuring Freddie Bell and the Bellboys AND The Platters.

It's truly the best Rock movie in the early Rock era.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Forget the plot and just fast forward to the rock and roll
Review: Tuesday Weld, in her film debut, plays Dori, who has a serious problem. She needs some money for a strapless formal for the prom and daddy has just taken away her charge card. Okay, enough about the plot, because the only reason to watch this 1956 film directed by Will Price is for the rock and roll music. D.J. Alan Freed leads the way for Chuck Berry singing "You Can't Catch Me," as well as Frankie Lymon and The Teenagers, LaVern Baker, The Johnny Burnette Trio, The Moonglows and the Flamingos. Okay, so I had never heard of half these guys either before this movie, but this was the state of rock and roll the year I was born. Besides, watching Weld trying to lip-synch Connie Francis' voice is good for a hoot. "Rock, Rock, Rock!" is strictly for those who are nostalgic because they remember the times or curious about what was happening before the Sixties.

Review: Yes please, ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK.
I was barely l8 way back in l955 when I saw this unforgettable movie above with Bill Haley and the original Platters.
I urge Amazon.ca/com to do all its best to persuade the film producer to digitize this first rock 'n roll movie into DVD.
There are millions of fans all over the world who would love to see this movie again in the privacy of their homes and relive the era of the Birth of Rock'N Roll. Please put this black-and-white film on DVD. Thanks
