Summary: Top Stars get top laughs!
Review: This movie is one the best comedy classics. The stars are top rate! Especially, Marilyn and Jack Lemmon who are two of my favorites of all time. Their comedic talents are outstanding. As a Marilyn fan, I have read alot about what went on behind the scenes of this movie, and it baffles me that although she did not have any desire to be in this film, she played her role so wonderfully. Sugar Kane is one of my favorite Marilyn characters who shines like a diamond! She got the golden globe for this! She deserved an Oscar! or at least a nomination! She was at her best in this film.

Review: Many people remember her for her sex appeal and the by the thousands of photographs of her throughout her well publicized life. But Marilyn always wanted to be remembered as a great comedy actress. She proves her talent for comedy in "Some Like It Hot". Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis are fabulous along side Marilyn, with their own unique abilities to constantly bring a smile to any viewers face.I would have never believed either one of those masculine men could pull off a role impersonating women. I had to add this hilarious farce to my growing video collection. Not since Marilyns comical parts in "The Prince & The Showgirl", "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes", or one of her first movies, "Monkey Business", with Cary Grant, have I laughed so hard at Marilyn. So what, she was a sex goddess to many... I think she was a great actress who deserves for somebody to remember her for being so good at comedy, and acting. Marilyn was more than just a body that wouldn't quit, and a beautiful face. She was a symbol of the times. How America viewed women then, and unfortunately how women are still often portrayed. There is nothing wrong with being sexy and enjoying all of the attention it may bring to anyone. As long as we do not lose sight of the unique being that each indivual is. Bravo to Marilyn for staying consistantly sexy and continuing to make her public laugh. After all, laughing is one of my favorite things to do. Marilyn did succeed as a comedy actress, and as so much more. I highly recommend adding this comedy to your home video library. It is funny every time I watch it, and that is more than a few times!

Review: The first time I saw this movie I was twelve years old. Ever since this movie remains number one on my list of recommendations. It is very original, smart, and funny. Jack Lemmon was at his best. Marilyn Monroe was absolutely gourgeous.Also, check out "The great race", another Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis movie, and "Tootsie."

Review: I WAS ROLLING IN THE AISLES AS I SAW LEMMON, CURTIS, AND MONROE GRACE THE SCREEN WITH THIS LAUGH OUT LOUD MASTERPIECE. I ABSOLUTELY ADORED THE MIX OF COMEDY AND SUSPENSE IN THIS TWO HOUR RIOT. ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITES, AS IS THE FILM I JUST REVIEWED AS WELL, THE WILD BUNCH.

Review: My favorite movie of all time, and I am a film buff. This movie gets all the room on my shelf, stands above Gone With The Wind, Titanic, Godfather and Citizen Kane. Best Comedy, Curtis and Lemmon still entertain me.Lemmon is one of the best actors ever next to Pacino and De Niro. Loved MArilyn too!! Everybody should see this movie!!!

Review: This is a funny and very clever movie full of sexual innuendo. I'm surprised it passed the censors - perhaps they weren't smart enough to "get the jokes"? Great acting in all the roles. Monroe looks gorgeous in her very revealing outfits.
