Summary: Makes THE EXORCIST look like MARY POPPINS
Review: This is a horror classic! A baby is born in Rome of a jackal, and adopted by the Thorns in England. When he begins to cause havoc - his nanny hangs herself and a priest is impaled after warning he is the son of the Devil, Robert Thorn, his stepfather, investigates and discovers a horrifying truth . . . This movie, even though it is old, is still sinister and menacing! I hope there is a DVD transfer in the works too. The main difference between this one, and its inspiration, THE EXORCIST, is that THE OMEN goes for mayhem and hysteria where EXORCIST goes for shock value(the crucifix scene). Gregory Peck and Lee Remick were brilliant in this one, and the hanging scene will remain imprinted on your mind for a long time. Oh, and David Warner also appears and gets decapitated! Excellent musical score by Jerry Goldsmith as well. Don't miss it.

Summary: ANOTHER WATHCES A DUMB MOVIE
Review: Ok if you think this movie was a good horror movie then i dont want to know what you do in your spare time because this movie was dumb.I didn't even jump in the movie. The special effects if you even call them special effects were pathetic.I dont care if it was made in 1976 it still was stupid.Star Wars and Jaws were made at the same time and had good special effects. If you have about 2 hours to waste then watch this movie if you dont then dont watch this.

Summary: GO WITH IT
Review: The Omen, which has been listed in several publications as one of the worst movies of all time, is a terrific commercial entertainment, and will scare the hell out of you, make you sit up and take notice of Revelations, and have you looking verrrrry nervously at any Rottweilers you may come across. Though the screenplay is a cleverly plotted piece of mumbo-jumbo, it works its spell quickly and effectively -- once that nanny snaps her neck, your hooked, so to speak. Jerry Goldsmith's wonderfully evocative "black mass" score deservedly won an Oscar, and Gregory Peck, Lee Remick and especially Billie Whitelaw as Mrs. Baylock are all up to the devilish proceedings. The graveyard sequence is one of the best horror sequences ever put on film, and will have you gripping your pillow, or the arm of someone you love dearly, in terror. A terrific piece of well-crafted pop entertainment.

Summary: One of the Scariest!
Review: This movie is horrifically scary, not for the special effects or the acting, but for the idea that this may one day happen! The movie kept me in suspense the entire time, but I wish it would have focused more on Damien. This is the perfect flick for an all-night horrorthon!

Summary: A good illustration of The AntiChrist's life
Review: I am a Big Fan of the Omen trilogy because the story is Original. We know many story of The Bible, but watch this movie... This movie have an excellent Vision of the AntiChrist's moderm life. The actors, Gregory Peck and Lee Remick are very good. Another reason that movie works, is the Music. Whitout the fabulous Score's of Jerry Goldsmith, the film doesn't have this atmosphere. A very good movie, like the other (Omen 2 & 3). A classic for the fan. I really recommend this...

Summary: Dismissed of innocence
Review: Richard Donner's "The Omen" is a horror genre of sinuous destruction. The destruction of people, places and things is accomplished by means of impalement, hanging and decapitation. The individual that carries out these deeds of ludicrous behavior is the son of the chief rebel angel; ironically, his name is Damien. Ambassador Robert Thorne, disturbed by the fact that his wife has no knowledge of the stillbirth of their baby boy, takes a desperate measure by introducing his wife to an orphan child that he calls their own; thus preventing any tears of lose. Year's later, peculiar things start to happen. The story of "The Omen" foreshows the events that will take place when the antichrist is beginning to unleash his power of evil. This evil, will eventually be the Armageddon, as man knows it. The film itself keeps you on the edge of your seat constantly looking behind the sofa to see if anything is there. The eerie music is a reminder of gray stone tunnels that use candles as lights. The priest's songs of prayer move through you like wet rain and make you shiver when you think of them. Throughout the film, the audience is introduced to a variety of freakish things. A priest that is contrite, a nanny that will kill and the theory of death by the seven daggers of meggado. After everything has been said, nothing will prepare you for the inevitable outcome of good and evil.

Summary: Freaky and Suspenseful!
Review: God, Damien is a freaky kid! I'd hate to be his babysitter! Well, THE OMEN stars Lee Remick and Gregory Peck. It is a great horror classic. I'll watch it over and over. And god this music is awesome. I deserved the Oscar it recieved.

Summary: One of the scariest movies ever.
Review: Funnily enough, at work the other night, we were discussing the scariest movies ever made, and I felt so old! Everybody is gassing about "Scream" and "..Last Summer", and someone said, "what's that"?when I brought up "The Omen". It is(along with "Silence of the Lambs"), one of the most frightening films I've ever seen, and I was child addicted to horror films. Nothing comes close to the safari park sequence, or the scene in the graveyard. This is the essence of SCARY!

Summary: Very Scary!
Review: This film scared me half to death! Gregory Peck and Lee Remick star in a horror film for the ages.An American ambassador to Great Britain's son dies at birth. In his sorrow and anguish,he is pursuaded to accept another baby boy in it's place. The child however, whose birth was foretold 2000 years earlier is the Anti-Christ.Strange occurances and incredible accidents persist to happen to anyone who threatens to reveal the childs true identity. This film is scary not only because of it's gothic nature but also of the concept of Satan inhabiting the Earth as a human form.
