Summary: Western with an edge
Review: A drifter (Clint Eastwood) enters a near-ghost town where a battle between two families opens the potential for profit. But, he finds that the two sides can not be allowed to continue their meaningless conflict.Eastwood does a terrific job, and one can't help but appreciate the performance he gives. The simple story is made all the better by brilliant showdowns, top-notch camerawork, and a style all its own. If you're looking for a great western with an edge, go and grab yourself a fist full of dollars.

Summary: A classic spaghetti western!
Review: I am a fan of Clint Eastwood and I really liked this movie. The story is based on the samurai film by Akiro Kurosawa, "Yojimbo," which was adapted as a Western and made into this movie. Eastwood plays a lone gunfighter/bounty hunter who gets involved in a dispute between two warring families and plays both sides for his own personal gain. The bad guys are great, especially Gian Maria Volonte, as the main villain. The last fifteen minutes are really classic, in the climactic showtown between the Man with No Name and the villains. The music by Ennio Morricone is also great. The only drawback of this movie is that the gun battles are rather cartoonish and there is no sign of blood on the victims who are shot. That aside, I enjoyed this movie. If you are a fan of Westerns and of Clint Eastwood, you would really like this movie. This is the first of the "Man with No Name" trilogy.

Summary: The one that started it all
Review: This was the first movie in the man with no name trilogy, the series that launched eastwoods career, and molded the persona he would have in many movies. In most of his films, the attitude is the same, whether or not the cigar and the poncho are there. This movies is not as good as the other two, For A Few Dollars More, and Good Bad, and the Ugly, but it is definitely worth watching and having in your collection. The last 15 minutes make it all well worth it. Purchase, or find this film and the other two and sit down and enjoy the best westerns ever made.

Summary: Timeless Western Classic!
Review: I had been waiting a long time for this to finally be released and in DVD format I was not disappointed. Picture quality was excellent. Sound quality was ok but I wish it would have been made in Dolby Surround 5.1 channel. It was in Dolby Mono. Still, this is a great film. A classic action western.Clint is the best in these films,and his Dirty Harry movies. It's what made him a superstar. And with DVD technology, it's like as if this was a new movie. Simply amazing! If you love Westerns and Clint Eastwood, then this is a must buy for the collection.

Review: Clint Eastwood is the greatest actor for westerns this world will ever see. Fistfull of Dollars is only a slight taste of Clint I recommend viewing all of his westerns to get the full flavor. Clint Is the man.

Review: I think Sergio Leone did a great job with this move, just imagine the technology he had to work with back then and the results he achieved. The "Close ups" were unbelievable,and I need not mention the horizon scenes.As for clint what can I say about him? he was "unbelievable" just imagine how difficult it is to work on a set if you are the only one that speaks english, he deserved every penny of the 15K he got paid for doing that movie.

Summary: Best spaghetti western ever made!
Review: Sergio Leone makes a marvellous effort at directing one of the best films ever made. Complimented by an atmospheric soundtrack and invigorating acting, a story of heroics, violence and climactic rivalry between two rival families/gangs is portrayed. In actual fact i don't have the original video myself, but can consiously remember the scenes as i listen to Ennio Morricone's amazing music. Once again the ultimate team don't fail to amaze: Sergio Leone, Ennio Moricone and Clint Eastwood.
