Summary: Perfect for all little girls at heart!
Review: After telling my 4 year old daughter about my favorite movie musical I saw when I was little "Cinderella", she wanted to watch it with me. We borrowed a copy from our local libery. The copy was so worn, we could only watch the first half. Needless to say we were very disappointed. I'm on a mad search to find a copy somewhere. It would be great to share this sweet musical story with another sweet little girl. The most recent remakes of Cinderella are a thumbs done in our review. The Disney version actually scared my daughter, it's characters are a bit vicious! If the 1964 version of Cinderella with Leslie Ann Warren is re-released, please let us know!

Review: Like all other Rodgers & Hammerstein musicals, this movie musical was a thorough delight for me every time I watched it. I wonder how many know that Leslie Ann Warren was chosen to play the part by the Messrs Rodgers and Hammerstein after she had become Miss America for that year, because they were charmed by the lovely young woman whom they felt embodied all the charm and youthful beauty of the magical heroine. For me, the continuing charm of the musical lies in the continuing charm of the legend of Cinderella.

Review: I think it is a shame that you cannot buy this movie retail anywhere! It is a classic. I may only be 14, but I know a wonderful movie when I see one. Brandy does NOT do the story of Cinderella justice!! We need Leslie Ann Warren!!

Summary: Absolutely enchanting!
Review: As an almost 40 year old woman, who fondly remembers watching this tale every year, I often find myself singing the endearing songs even today. I purchased the tape in beta format quite a few years ago, when my daughter was very young. Of course, our beta VCR is long gone and it has been years since we were last able to view it. My daughter also fell in love with the characters and songs, just as I had. For her 16th birthday, that was all she asked for. Much to my dismay, I found that it was out of print. She was heartbroken. Please re-release this film - there are too many little girls missing out on its' charm.

Review: As a 40 year old viewer, I remember vividly this enchanting and lively version of this classic tale. I still remember the first time watching this on TV as a first grader. Lesley Ann Warren is an average girl who is tranformed into a lovely princess. As a child I felt that if you wanted something bad enough, you had to keep believing in it. I still do, and wanted to share this movie with my 10 year old daughter. Please, please, release it again.

Review: I also watched this movie every year, and waited patiently for it to come on Tv. I love Leslie Ann Warren and Stuart Damon in this movie. Still like to watch Leslie as in Pure Country. She is a great actor. This is the greatest movie ever made in my opion. I have been looking for this movie to come back on sale. From the reviews I have seen, someone is missing out on a lot of money on sales. I would love to it come back on the big screen. I would be the first in line. CINDERELLA IS THE GREATEST!!!!!!!! Ps This is a 40 year old opion.

Summary: truely love at first sight
Review: unlike most of the previous reviews I have not seen this movie on tv, I'm not that old. However when I was about three my cousin taped it off of tv for me and I have loved it ever since. The Disney version scared me at that time and I still list it as one of my favorite movies. Please re-release it, it would mean so much to so many of us.

Review: I loved this film every year I watched it. My Aunt (who was like my Grandmother) and I made it a real event. All the more reason I'd like to see it released again. Leslie Ann Warren IS Cinderella! Anyone who has ever seen this and any other version would agree. There is no music to compare to Rogers & Hammerstein, and Warren's innocence and wonder shines through in a definite 5 star performance. Of course she had an outstanding supporting cast. One of the all time classics.

Review: As a child, I loved this movie. CBS showed it once a year and I remember that they showed it on Saturday night. I was in love with Leslie Ann Warren. My daughter is 5 years old and I've told her many times about how she'd like this movie. Well, when I saw it on Ebay, I jumped at the chance to get it. We watched it last night and my daughter loved it. They should re-release this gem.
