Summary: The greatest Cinderella Movie EVER
Review: I first saw this version on Cinderella when i was five. I loved it! i remember singing along to all the songs. I was horrified when i saw the resent remake, at how badly it was done with Brandy as Cinderella. I have nothing against brandy, but she just didnt do as well as Ginger Rogers. I would strongly recommend, if you like fairy tales and musicals that you order this movie :)

Review: My wife believes this version of Cinderella is tied for first place with another entitled The Glass Slipper with Leslie Caron. Cinderella is more musical, whereas The Glass Slipper has more dancing and ballet, as fans of Leslie Caron would expect. Both are 5 star.

Summary: A Wonderful Version of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical
Review: This is very different from the more recent Disney production, which had many new songs (old songs, actually, but pulled from other shows.) Lesley Ann Warren is a charming Cinderella, and the rest of the cast is wonderful as well. The movie is a great version of the fairy tale, and follows the story closely enough, yet contains some humor in it, as well. The score is great as well, containing some relatively unknown, but very good, Rodgers and Hammerstein music from their first collaboration. This video is a remake of a television movie version starring Julie Andrews in the title role.

Summary: Amazing Rendition Of Cinderella
Review: For those who, like me, grew up with this version, you are going to be thrilled it is coming out on DVD. It is the 1965 TV version directed by Charles S. Dubin starring Lesley Ann Warren and Stuart Damon. I love this version, when I was young, my mother taped it for me and I still love it. The songs are wonderful. The actors' singing may not be the best but, since I never saw the Julie Andrews version, I still prefer it to the 1997 version with Brandy and Whitney Houston.This was an exceptionnal musical and it's great that it is being released on DVD, so if anyone knows the date, please write a review and tell me.

Summary: Childhood Classic Treasure!
Review: I remember as a child eagerly awaiting its annual broadcast. Everything about it was dreamy, especially for little girls who dream of someday meeting their own prince. I am dumfounded as to why this movie is unavailable. Now that I'm a mother of a little girl, I had hoped to cuddle up with her and share my memories and.... hopefully make some new ones. If anyone knows how to get a copy........please let me know.

Lesly anne Warren's performance has inspired generations of castaways to believe in themselves, to soar beyond their dreams-and make a new world. The touching moments with the prince restore a lost respect for honest romance, and set the stage for the two young lovers' future adventure. If you've seen the rest, now see the best version ever!

Review: It's a shame that this classic isn't available anywhere. Although I am only fifteen I recall watching this movie innumerable times as a child. It is by far the best version of Cinderella I have seen.

Review: Every year as a child I couldn't wait for Cinderella to be on t.v. --I dreamed of being her! I knew all the songs and still sing them to my kids! I was really disappointed to find out that it is no longer available for purchase, but I would be thrilled if it could be released again! I know my children would love it as much as I did!
