Summary: Left Behind Movie Makes You Think & Sparks Interest
Review: Don't let all the hyper-critical comments against this movie scare you away and discourage you from seeing the movie. Honestly, when you go see a movie do you really listen to the hollywood movie critics, like Siskel & Ebert? As for me, I hardly ever agree with their pick of movies. The best advice is to check out the movie yourself. Likewise, if the Left Behind movie sparks interest for you, then go check it out. To answer the critics of this movie, here is what I say. The acting of the characters I thought was done well. Sure, there could of been more special effects for the rapture scene, the movie should of stayed on track with the book more, and the movie could of been longer, but hey they didn't have a 10 billion dollar budget to play with, and we are not talking about the hollywood elite, movie directors like Steven Spielberg, George Lucas or James Cameron. Given what they had, they did a pretty good job with their first movie, of the Left Behind series. For us, who are the loyal fans, this movie is only the beginning. We see the whole picture, not just one movie, the first one out. We believe with each sequel we see it will only get better, such as; more money to work with, more experience, and an even tighter message that remains true to the book series. Even the Star Wars trilogy had a start, and got better with each sequel. Because the Left Behind movie, at the end, leaves you hanging and wanting more(just like the book series), I believe that the demand for a sequel, along with what people want in the next movie will be overwhelming. End time prophesy will always make for a great movie. With the success of Hollywood's movies, Armageddon and Deep Impact, this Left Behind movie may reveal what already is there, a huge interest and curiosity among people to know what the Bible says about the end times - what the end of the world will be like. The Left Behind, is obviously an attempt to reach people's hearts. The movie is an attempt to help people see that God knows the future and knows what the end will be like, and has allowed us to know and be forewarned about some of the events of the end times. The basic plot of the movie is that there will be a time, as it has been prophesied that Jesus will, in a twinkling of an eye, gather His Church together with Him in the clouds to be with Him forever (I Thessalonians 4:16-17). This event has been known as the "rapture". If the movie makes people think, who is to say that people who have seen it will not talk with their friends, co-workers, or even attend church to find out if this "rapture" stuff is true or not. Sometimes, controversial topics spark interest, and more interest in a topic, promotes more opportunity for people to talk with others about end times, about Christ and His salvation, and even about His prophecies. It is the movies that make you think, that present something you have never heard of, that make you wonder if it is true, those are the movies that impact you the most after you leave the movie theater.

Summary: A WONDERFUL MOVIE BLESSED BY GOD
Review: I think that the left behind movie was wonderful, because it had much suspense and followed the book pretty close. The gospel was presented very plainly and clear and it can be used as an awesome tool to lead many to Christ through the showings of the film and through the many touches people make when inviting them to come see it, the actors are wonderful, and many people's lives will be touched by this movie.

Summary: Left Behind-The Movie
Review: This is an excellent movie! I have read all of the currently 8 books available in the series and the movie was very close to the book with some minor variations to assist with overall time compression. Mr. LaHaye and Mr. Jenkins have such wonderful expository styles that every scene and moment could not possibly fit in only 2 hours. You will begin to find a deeper and clearer understanding of the Book of Revelations without the "Pushiness" of Hellfire and Brimstone. Make no mistake, the foundation of the prophesies of this movie are in place and this piece could be considered "Factual Fiction". Can't wait for the next movie? Read Tribulation Force and buckle up for the scariest and most wild ride of your life!

Review: I am 17 years old and I am not so deep in GOD stuff but I love Him and I adore him. I have to admit the movie could be better but also I have to admit it was a good movie that kept me on my sit all the time. People can say it was the worst movie they have ever seen but they have to admit it that it transmit the message. In my opinion it is a great movie that only needs a few add-ins but it is ok. We can't say that it doesn't match the novel, 'cause which movie we can say that... NONE. I WANT TO TELL TO EVERYONE THAT READS THIS THAT EVEN WHEN THEY DON'T LIKE THE MOVIE TO TELL THAT EVEN IT ISN'T THE BEST MOVIE THEY HAVE EVER SEEN IT HAVE A GOOD MESSAGE THAT EVERYBODY SHOULD LISTEN TO. thx for your attention GOD bless you all

Review: Left Behind is a compelling drama based on the end of time as told in the bible. It gives us a glimpse of what it will be like when the Lord returns to earth and takes his children home and what the remaining people will endure.

Summary: A wake up movie for fence sitters
Review: The theme of the movie has awakened the need in us to be prepared for end times. We DO NOT want to be left behind. The actors give incredible performances. If after seeing this movie, everyone doesn't come to the conclusion that they need to take their future(eternity) seriously, than they must be blind or just stubborn. Go and see this movie when it comes to a theatre near you. You will not be dissatisfied, a GREAT MOVIE.

Review: I can't wait to see this amazing series brought to life. I will be thrilled to see it live and in living color. I am anxiously awating it's release to theaters in Feb. I found the books to be very enjoyable. Fast reading and mysterious yet true to God's word. The visual images I get from reading these books are vivid. I wonder how closely the movie will match my own images?

Summary: Just the beginning
Review: First off, I do not feel that this is the best movie out there but I do think that it can be a good starting point for someone who has not read any of the books in this series. My husband bought this movie for me for Christmas knowing how much I am enjoying the books, he had not read any of the books. We set down together on Christmas Day to watch it and to say the least my husband's interest in the book series is piqued. He started reading the first book immediately. Even if die hard fans of these books are somewhat disappointed with this movie I say so what! If it gets 25% new readers interested then it has done a great job!! Even though I am a fan of "racier" books and movies, this one is one you can watch and not think "hey when is the gratuitous sex scene going to happen." I recommend this movie for everyone and the books as well.

Summary: EVERYONE SHOULD SEE
Review: Wow!! What a wonderful movie. Three words, "I was impressed!" Granted though, I had read LaHaye's book first. My father and sisters who have seen the movie all agree that you should read the book first. The actors did a wonderful job portraying their characters. Kirk Cameron did a marvelous job as Buck Williams. I believe as many people should view this movie as possible. The quicker the word gets shared regarding the rapture and tribulation to follow, the more brothers and sisters can be saved.
