Rating: Summary: Monty Pythom for kids with a moral. Review: The french guys at the top of the wall were too much! I felt like I was watching a cartoon version of Monty Python's Holy Grail - only this one had a purpose, a story, and a great moral. My son is transfixed with this video each time we play it. He asks for it above all others. I am truly shocked as he used to ask for full-feature Disney movies. Now, he begs for VeggieTales. Some of the humor makes me laugh out loud, too. When the squash (?) looks up at the french peas and says, "We're not crazy, you know. Our God told us to do it," I just fall out! And my sons laughs hysterically each time they sing "Going to the Promised Land" and the veggie pops up saying, "sounds sticky!"

Rating: Summary: Best Veggie Video Review: The guys who write VeggieTales are at their best when they tell Bible stories, and this is their best storytelling yet. Of course, our 22-month old can't get enough of any of the VeggieTales, but this one is faithful to the biblical account and using the Israelites' point of view, it drives home the point -- we should do things God's way even when it doesn't make sense to us. Great songs, and I also love the French-accented peas who guard Jericho's wall. Highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: Excellent, entertaining for kids and adults Review: The Veggie Tales series of bible stories is told in such and entertaining way that both kids and adults will enjoy all of them. They are animated, featuring vegetables that apply biblical truths to everyday situations, using stories from the bible that they have added humor to, without changing the biblical truths. I highly recommend them! I have a grandson who is 4 who, until seeing Josh and the Big Wall, would only watch adult action movies.
Rating: Summary: Another great hit for both kids and adults! Review: The VeggieTales videos are, without a doubt, the best in short, animated videos for kids of all ages. With 11 grandchildren, we have the entire set to date and enjoy watching all of them as much as the kids. Josh and the Big Wall is exceptionally well done and ranks up there with Madame Blueberry (our personal favorite). These are Christian videos that are suitable for anyone and the CDs of Silly Songs are also a great addition to a music library.
Rating: Summary: The most entertaining version of Joshua and Jericho ever! Review: These Veggietales videos are great! My nieces love them to death, and repeatedly sing the songs. They even have memorized most of the lines that the cute characters say! What a great video series!
Rating: Summary: "Kids" of any age will love this video! Review: This is a Veggie Tales classic. This is one of the most hilarious videos I have ever seen. The siily song about the Sabu made my side hurt I was laughing so hard. It is good clean fun with an uplifting message that talks about doing things God's way. I am a Sophmore in college and love all of the Veggie Tales. I do have to say that my favorite viedo is "Silly Sing Along 2: The End of Silliness?". The Cheeseburger song is above all the best silly song ever.
Rating: Summary: My personal favorite Review: This is my personal favorite of all the Veggie Tale videos. The Song of the Cebu is worth the price of the video alone! You'll never sit through another slide show again without "Cebuuuuu" running rampant in your head. The retelling of the fall of the wall at Jericho is well executed- substituting slushies for weaponry, and still getting the point across. Cheers to Phil V. and Mike N. for their vision and their commitment to producing quality videos with an important, and undiluted message. Keep up the great work!
Rating: Summary: Wrong Title! Review: This movie is a great one, I love it and I am 13 years old! But the title is "Josh and the Big Wall," not "Josh and the Big Whale!"
Rating: Summary: Four-year old gives 5 stars! Review: This video has really great songs, I like the one about the cebus the most. The peas that protect the walls of Jericho are also really funny. Other kids would really like this.
