Summary: just to let some confused people know
Review: ok i read some of the comments that peole put and they are total idiots if they think this is bad. these are the reasons they are idiots...
REASON 1: yes there is no real story through the whole thing but thats because they were making every episode as a small movie. try reading up on it before you buy it. or buy the movie (which is also great) and check the extras there somthing in ther about it.
REASON 2: some of you got the 3 disc set. your problem is you dont make sure your getting wut you want. if you want the real deal check to make sure and if your not sure go to a diferant site to buy it.

Summary: Cowboy Bebop, pure excellence
Review: You're not really reading this are you? Surely you know Cowboy Bebop is excellent, you don't need me to tell you that...

Cowboy Bebop is a true work of art. Complex, and well designed characters who bounce in and out of each others lives as their own needs demand. A fantastic, futuristic universe that's generally worn down and jaded, and seemingly full of criminals. Clever plotlines that are both short lived and for the moment, and long term and character developing at the same time. Incredible production values with a fantastic soundtrack, great art and animation, and a keen eye for composition and design. The english dub is actually pretty good too!

Really, if you like anime, animation, sci-fi, or anything along those lines and have not seen this series then you should hang your head in shame. Then go and buy all six discs and enjoy, it's a great ride.

Summary: Bebop a classic
Review: Cowboy Bebop is one of those landmark anime series that come out every ten years or so. Gatchaman,Robotech, and Evangelion are a few others that have had major impact on this art form. Bebop reminds me of why I love anime now as much as I did as when I was a kid. The heroes from Spike, Jet, and Faye to the great music this series has it all. The production is top notch and it shows, a mixture of CG and cell animation make this series stand out.
Bebop is one of my all time favorites

Summary: Cowboy heh?!More like Bounty hunter
Review: Cowboy bebop is one of the first anime shows i ever started watching it has tons of action plenty of comedy, some drugs(if your into that thing?i hope not)and plenty of ladies for those lusting men.How ever it is not a children show and children would mostlikely not be alowed to watch. The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because it does not follow up on the last episode except for a few which is becuase it would be a hour long if it was one episode.

Summary: THIS 3-DVD SET IS A CRAPPY BOOTLEG
Review: The real Cowboy Bebop Perfect Sessions DVD box set has 6 discs and a bonus cd. The 3-dvd sets floating around have compressed versions of the episodes which look like crap. The REAL box set is sadly out of print and rare and retailed for around $200. If you want the high quality version of Cowboy Bebop get each dvd separately for around $26 each.

Summary: boring
Review: Cowboy Bebop has A LOT going for it. An awesome dub, an awesome main character, great music, and AMAZING animation. However, its lacking a bit plotwise and comes off as rather boring.

The problem probably originates from the fact that its a 26 episode series with no goal. You can't have 26 episodes without them having some kind of goal to reach! The first episode was great and so were a couple episodes in the middle and the last two episodes, and you know why? Because they actually followed what little plot this show has. They all revolved around the mafia or gang or whatever that group Spike used to be in was. The rest are pretty much all fillers. Prettily animated fillers mind you, but fillers nonetheless, and very slow paced at that!

So anyway, I ended up pretty bored. Half way through I was bored out of my mind and had to force myself to finish it. But then of course the last two episodes made me just say "wow".

This should have definitely been maybe a six episode OAV. I think it would have been more powerful and have a stronger story that way.

(and by the way, if its a 200 boxset, and you buy it for 30 from a vender, THEN OF COURSE ITS A BOOTLEG!! DUH!! Its a burned piece of crap from Hong Kong because they didn't sign a contract saying that you can't burn licensed movies like all the other countries did. When you buy bootleg dvds, you are robbing money from the American companies that work so hard to bring you these anime dvds. So just don't buy them! Buy the real ones! Okay, hope that cleared things up.)

Summary: My "Real" Cowboy Bebop Review
Review: My other Cowboy Bebop Review's were kind of stupid, so I decided to make another one, so listen up to what I have to say about it. Cowboy Bebop is an Anime Series that is beyond comparison of any other Anime Series, or any Type of Shows period! This whole Anime Series is just so Dramatic, which is what makes it so damn good, and the Music is some of the Best Music I've ever heard. Now if you're thinking that this Anime Series is just all Action, you're totally and completely wrong. This Anime Series is about 5 Bounty Hunters searching for the people or the thing that they lost in the Past, and now they're all trying to find that. Spike Spiegel is a man with a VERY dark Past, and the person that he lost (Not lost, but couldn't be with at that time) Is a woman named, Julia... she meant everything to Spike, and still does, so, through out this 26 Episoded Anime Series he searches for her (I won't tell you anymore about that, because if you haven't seen BeBop yet, that'll really ruin it for you). Jet Black, another man with a fairly bad past, he also lost someone that really meant something to him, her name is Alisa, a woman that left him back in his days when he was with the Police Department, I won't tell you why, you'll find out in Episode 10, and be sure to pay close attention to that Episode. Faye Valentine, a woman that doesn't know anything about her past, until Episode 15... sorry I can't say anymore about that, or it will surely ruin it for you. Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivursy the 4th, a super-Hacker, but she's a little Girl at the Age of 13, and she tries to find out about herself in 24, nothing more I can say about her, unless you don't wanna be surprised when you see it. Last but not least, Ein, a little Welsh Corgi that they pick up in Episode 2, Ein is short for Einstein, 'cause Ein is most likely the smartest Dog in the World, and Ein is like Ed's Best Pal in BeBop. So, there you go, the Crew of the BeBop has been assembled, now go and buy each and every Episode. This Anime Series is also my Favorite, if you love as much as me you'll cry through out a few Episodes.

Summary: Cowchips Bebob
Review: Lame ripoff of Space Adventure Cobra and Lupin. The woman in Bebop has twice the measurements as the babe in Cobra but half the sensuality. Slick and glossy but no better than flotsam drifting about in space.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: For adults
Review: This is anime by adults for for adults (suitable for kids too).

The music is varied and interesting, the stories are all unique and for the most part are not serialized so you can watch them in any order, and the art is superior.

If you're mature and you want to try anime this is going to be the one to buy.
