Summary: Worse Than the Season 1 DVD Set
Review: Since I owned season 1 DVD set, my expectation of season 2 was lowered accordingly. Unfortunately, the audio of season 2 is even worse. I wish the fans are not that forgiving of ADV, because by lowering the bar, you are going to guarantee lower quality in the future. The only thing we know for certain is that since ADV has the North America distribution rights, we are not going to see a decent release in the forseeable future. I bought the set to watch the series, but I am not a satisfied customer of ADV.

Summary: Sailor Moon
Review: The original story of Sailor Moon in the original japanese version is a very differrent concept from the american version but, however there are many things that are completely missing in american dubbed version:
1:Most of the episodes had been deleted recently.
2:The bloodshed and the gory violence.
3:The battle fights are longer.
And last,it's in a subtitle version.
Stick with the original version of Sailor Moon. You'll like it!!!

Summary: Epic Sailor Moon
Review: This DVD set amazed me! It was the very first time I have saw sailor moon in its japanese form.American fans should be thankful we ever got this much.As far as the Dic versions and cloverwiegh versions, we as sailor moon fans should stop complaining! They were great to! We are fortunate that ADV picked up the rights for it to begin with knowing what kind of finacial history sailor moon has been given.Low ratings and so forth.Enough about my ramblings.........This Dvd set is a must buy for any Sailor moon fan because you get to feel it the way it was meant to be! As for episode #67 who cares? It made no sense at all!!! Rini with a friend dinosaur? Come on!!! The animation is a little wobbly like a person is trying to hold a camara up...that is the only downfall this set has. And the sound quality is great!!!!!(people!) Its called DOLBY DIGITAL 5.1!Which ...Epic Sailor Moon R is here BUY THIS SET!

Summary: Sailor Moon R
Review: This would be the second season of Sailor Moon, (which has four other seasons: Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon S, Sailor Moon SS, and Sailor Moon Stars) Sailor Moon R (R stands for Revenge I believe.)

Summery:
This season picks up where the first season left off: Usagi and the inner scouts are enjoying living a normal life as an average teen when Luna is forced to reawaken them to fight to alien humanoids whom wish to deplete the Earth of energy in an effort to safe their Doom Tree. A new man comes to help the scouts in the form of the Moonlight Knight as Mamoru (Darien/Tuxedo Mask) still hasn't had his memories brought back to him, which leads to comedy as Serena tries to revive it as well as beat off an annoying new girl, Anne, who also seems to have the hots for Darian while also ignoring the advances of the rather persistant Alan.
But this only leads way to the real battle: The Dark Moon Family. Now Usagi (Serena/Sailor Moon)finds herself fighting to save a rather obxious and rude little brat in the form of Chibiusa (Rini), who comes from the future, and seems to cause more troubles than help. Espcially for her and Mamoru once he breaks up with her out of love and concern for her safty.

Episode Opinion:
Personally, I loved the later episodes of this season, pretty much anyone after "Protect Chibiusa! The Fierce Battle Between the 10 Warriors" (Or the English dubbed title: Naughty and Nice), mainly because most of the episodes after this point are very touching, such as "Death of Safiel! Wiseman's Trap!" (Brotherly Love) or "The Thoughts are the Same! Usagi and Mamoru in Love Again" (Promises Fulfilled). But really all the episodes are good, and quite are few are not to be missed, rather they be touching, incrediablely sad touching, or just out and out too humorous to miss!

The Missing Episode:
"Ocean, Island, Vacation! Senshi's Day Off "
This is the infamous missing episode that this box set does not include, which in Japan is episode 67 but would have been episode 61 if it would have aired in America. Really it's more or less a filler episode than anything, about Chibiusa and the other senshi going on an island for vacation. Chibi tries Motoko fish only to realize she doesn't like it and goes off on her own only to find a dinosaur which she befriends. Pretty much the dinosaur needs to get back to its mother and a volcano goes off and at some point, the senshi save the day, or rather the dinosaur.
I promise you, unless your just nitpicky about the principle of the episode not being there because it's the box set and suppose to contain ALL the episodes, than you really didn't miss anything. It waw unimportant, rather stupid, and had obsolutely nothing to do with the storyline. (I understand that some people consider "Sailor Venus' Past, Minako's Blighted Love" a filler (I don't agree) because it really had more to do with Minako's (Mina) past than anything at hand but that episode was actually very good.)

Summary: The Missing Episode
Review: To clear up the issue about the missing episode, ADV actually DID want to include that episode in the DVDs, but Toei Animation did not give them the rights for the episode, because of either the manga artist disliking the episode or for some other reason. The actual reason is not clear, but Toei did not give ADV the rights to that episode, so that's why the episode was not included. Hope that this helps clear things up.

Summary: Shut -Up about episode 67. Sailor Moon is still #1
Review: we have been waiting 10 years for this day. and all you care about is some stupid dinosaur episode!!! I am grateful for what i have. it sure beats the bootleged internet. instead of focusing on the negative.look at what we are getting. Uncut Prince Diamond (Demando in japanese)fighting for Neo Queen Serenity to fall in love with him. and what does Mamoru really tell Usagi in the Cosmic Caper episode? Chibi-Usa with a gun to Usagi's head!! awesome stuff here people. stop looking for ways to ruin this grand occasion. Naoko Takeuchi is a genius. and I love like she is a member of my family. Don't write all these bad reviews other people don't care if a pointless episode is missing. don't bring it down. write good reviews so people will want to buy it. if the box set gets bad reviews they might not release anymore. I am not going to let that happen. I would be destroyed. so come on give Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon. All the glory it deserves. Thanks.

Summary: A Wonderful Release
Review: We should be so lucky if ADV released all 5 seasons of Sailormoon withe such rigor and high quality as this set. And for the record, ADV did not "cut" episode 67-- they couldn't get the rights to it... and not even they're sure why the Japanese owner won't sell it to them! You may have to adjust your TV's audio a little... most people who complain about the audio have outdated TVs, else don't know how to use them.
This season is really one of my favorites because of the great character development given to all the Scouts. Ok, Ok, so I do want to get a gun out whenever that "little pink thing" comes out on the screen, but the rest is worth it. Please enjoy Sailor Moon as much of the rest of us do, and also please don't go to conventions cross-playing as Sailor Mercury, ok?
