Summary: Cinematic History!
Review: Last summer I visited my local video rental store and decided to rent all three Die Hard films. I loved them so much that I decided to buy the collection on DVD. In my opinion, these along with the Lethal Weapon movies are the best action flics around. The Die Hard Ultimate Collection is flawless. Each DVD comes with an extra DVD filled with astonishing extras.

I own tons of DVD's and the Die Hard's are the best I have. If you are a movie collector or just an action buff, then the Die Hard Ultimate Collection is a must have.

Summary: Die Hard Ultimate Collection Great!!!!
Review: Bruce Willis is great as New York Police Dept. officer John McClain. Although the second Die Hard STUNK!!!! F+++++++. You shouldn't see it . A rundown on all movies.
Die Hard. The one that started it all. L.T John McClain is visiting his Wife Holly McClain at Nacatomi Plaza for a Christmas party. A mystierous truck pulls up in the lot. The truck is full of terrorists, they blast the security gards and lock down the whole bulding. The take Holly's floor hostage while a guy is trying to break a safe. But John escapes, he starts his own one man war and drops Hans Gruber (Leader of Terrorists) Out of the bulding.
Die Hard 2 Die Harder. This one stinks. The villian is bad. He is some kind of mercenary. He takes over a airport, one plane has Holly. And thretens to blow it up. John McClain pulls his gun out and starts to blast people. I would rent the first one or else you'll the the sieres is a waste of time.
Die Had : With A Vengence. John McClain is in New York when a bomb blows up and Simon Peter Gruber Han's brother wants revenge looks for revenge aginst McClain. But he only wants to steal gold from Wall Street. Samuel L. Jackson plays Zeus.

Summary: "One of the greatest action trilogies ever made"
Review: The Die Hard trilogy is quite in fact action-packed but you can't really say that it is the best. Overall, it is great and never boring even if you watch it 200 hundred times. Bruce Willis was perfect for the role as the crime-fighting, trash-talking John McClane, a cop who always finds himself at the wrong place at the wrong time. I enjoyed these movies and had to watch them over several times before quitting but anyway, here's the review:

Die Hard: In the first one, made in 1988, McClane, the NY cop, is coming to visit him wife Holly in an Los Angeles building. He soon finds himself in a room on the top floor filled with parties and drinks and begans to relax. However, at the lobby, something is wrong. The guards have noticed an unknown truck entering the parking lot. They don't know that inside this truck is a ruthless gang of terrorists led by Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman in his best role). Well, you know what happens. They kill all security and try to break into a vault to steal a couple million as well as rounding up some hostages. However, they don't know that they haven't caught McClane. And now it's up to him to save his wife and the hostages in a brutal and bloody battle against Alan Rickman! Very fast-paced. You won't know where the time went as well. Great directing by John McTiernan. Overall, the best movie of the series.

Die Hard 2: Die Harder - It seems that McClane is in trouble again when a group of terrorists take over an airport that is threatening to blow up all the planes (one plane has McClane's wife) if they don't receive a wide load of cash. Once again, it's time for McClane to grab his guns and save the day! This movie was much worser than the previous two (probably because it wasn't directed by John McTiernan) but Renny Harlin. I mean, Cliffhanger and Deep BLue Sea was good but every other film was hardly interesting. It's a very edge-of-your-seat thriller though I recommend not seeing this first because you will think the whole Die Hard series is a waste of time.

Die Hard with a Vengeance - McClane is back in New York City working with Samuel L. Jackson! After Simon Gruber, (I think) the brother of the main terrorist in the first Die Hard, blows up a local building, cops send John McClane to check it out. However, they discover that this man doesn't want revenge, he just wants money! A brutal deadly game of cat-and-mouse follows with plenty of action that will keep you gripped.

Well, that's it!

Summary: great, but violent
Review: This is an excellent collection with each film having an extra DVD for all the supplemental stuff. I love the first film, i thought it was one of the best action films ever made. and i used to love the second one when i was younger, but as i have watched it more recently, i've found the second to use a bit too much violence. or at least, a lot of the violence seemed unnecessary, whereas in the first one, there was a reason for all the violence.

Summary: THE BEST ACTION TRILOGY EVER?
Review: What else is there that you can say about the Die Hard trilogy that hasn't already been said? Ok, so the second and third films are not a patch on the original but did you honestly think that they could be? Bruce Willis is John McClane, a New York cop who seems to have a knack of getting into trouble with terrorists. From Alan Rickman's smooth Hans Gruber to Jeremy Irons' weak Simon Gruber, we are treated to an action movie fans dream! and throw Samuel L Jackson into the mix for the third film and what you have is a slick, fast moving production that assaults your eyes and ears and leaves you begging for more! Check out the third films alternate and more downbeat ending-personally i think it's better than the tacked on helicopter ending that was on the original release. Buy this now and settle in for an evenings explosive entertainment!

Summary: An Entire Evening of Bruce in a Box
Review: Great stuff, all in one place, an entire evening of entertainment in this set.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent trilogy. High replay value.
Review: I love these movies. The second is not as strong as the others, but it's still good. When I want to watch a movie, but there's nothing good out, I just watch die hard 3 and It's a blast every time.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Must-haves for any action movie fan
Review: While I could take or leave the second in the series, the first and often-forgotten third movies of this series are excellent bomb, blast, bullet, and blow-away entertainment. Very few action movies have ever topped the original Die Hard, and Die Hard 3 is a great film if only for the character interactions between Willis and Jackson. Jeremy Irons as the evil Simon was brilliant, as usual.

Summary: One of the Greatest Sets of all time!!!!
Review: This has got to be the best DVD set I have ever seen.
