Summary: You either like it or hate it.
Review: My son brought over "Pulp Fiction", a movie that he loved, and I sat through this thing shaking my head (a strange and seedy flick, to say the least). Although I did see potential (this movie was not uninteresting, and the acting was top-drawer all the way), I just wasn't used to this type of direction. He left me the tape, and a few months later I viewed it again (at his urging). It was on this second viewing that my mind totally changed. I ended up really enjoying this film and its unique perspective of direction. I certainly realize this film won't be to everyones' taste, (it is very offensive) but sometimes one has to give a movie with potential another chance. I am glad that I did. Between 1 and 10, "Pulp Fiction" gets a solid 7.

Summary: You'd dig it the most baby
Review: Wildly Original. Great acting. Great Cast. Great screenplay. This is one of the best movies ever. You could watch this movie 10 times and still find little things about it. This movie is second only to the amazing "Reservoir Dogs" as being the best Tarantino ever. Which by the way, you should see if you liked Pulp Fiction.

Summary: Stylish as a fashion magazine, but just as forgettable
Review: I'm no prude, but this was an extremely seedy film. Rape in a basement, a wrist-watch up a war veteran's anus, callow dialogue, and the N-word is strewn all over the place. Yep, this is real funny stuff folks. Absolutely heeeelarious! Yuk, yuk. Bets are on that Tarantino could never make a movie without handguns and racial epithets. He can't do it, folks. Check out Nicolas Roeg's "Performance" with Mick Jagger if you want a cool movie with substance to match style.

Summary: HAD TO SEE AGAIN TO APPRECIATE
Review: I was so offended the first time I saw this movie. But upon viewing a second, then a third time I came to appreciate its genius. There is so little originality in movies that this one stands out as highly original (not gimmicky). It was a true shame that Samuel Jackson was not nominated for best supporting actor for this movie because he truly made the movie. (I liked his performance here better than in Jackie Brown). He seemed to be the only character that changed. And his highly believable but severely misquoted Bible verse was worth it to show to my highly religious mother.

Summary: Funny, surprising, and intriguing
Review: I really love this movie. I do not have a favorite character because they are all so good, but I especially like Samuel Jackson and Harvey Keitel. I love the way Tarantino jumps back and forth between the past and the present. This is definitely a movie that you will want to see again and again... you never really get tired of it!

Summary: The Best American Movie Of '94
Review: It's awesome. The script is wonderful, it makes you think that not all the americans are some stoupid man, obsesed with money.

Summary: EXCELLENT
Review: Anyone who thinks this movie isn't great doesn't know what a good movie is. The whole point of the movie was so that you would have to see it more than once, I mean want to see it more than once. The movie is like a good acid trip where everything ties into each other. If you didn't like this movie your just closed minded. Who would have ever thought of making those three scenes into a movie? Only a GENIUS. Maybe this movie is for today's youth, maybe yesterdays. Whatever the case the movie was superb.

Summary: Greatest Movie of the 90s
Review: The way that the three different stories are presented and interelated (i.e. not in chronological order) is awesome! Tarantino puts together all the pieces of the puzzle at the end. The dialogue is so fresh, the camera angles and slo mos are great (i.e. the camera shooting Willis while Marcellus is telling him to rig the game) and the soundtrack rocks. Excuse me while I play the movie for the 30th time on my VCR.

Summary: Awful ...
Review: Insipid, overhyped and offensive. This film glamorized violence to an excess. Too many racial slurs for my liking. And, don't forget ... BORING.

Summary: It was different and I loved it!
Review: I loved it! It's a work of art and very different from the usual... ATTENTION: You need to watch this movie more then once for it to sink in. I liked the camera movements and the whole story. It's really good movie, but NOT for everyone!
