Summary: Excellent Film
Review: To watch this movie you have to put yourself in a bad guy's shoes. If you have very high morals, this might not be the movie for you, or it could be. To me, the main point of this movie was that Jules (Samuel L. Jackson) felt the touch of God and decided to turn his back on his fugitive lifestyle. Excellent characters in this film. The dialogue is witty and entertaining. I definitely recommend this film.

Review: personally i believe that yes . . there was a FEW pulls from previous content . . its originality did PARTIALLY stem from past compilations . .. but . . beyond all the " movie critic " bullsh-t, it was a fantastic twistable movie. If you take a look at the character placing, the extreme personality mixtures, and one horrid plethora of violence and social distortion . . you can say that yes . . this is a movie for MINDS in confusion. It can have a million different seperations because thats what most of the minds are ready for in this world anyway . . its not a movie to press play . . and stare into your little idiot box for two hours . . and in the end say : " anyone want to go to taco bell? " Its a movie that will keep your HEAD and MIND ready and willing to spin and be spun. I reccomend it . . 97 percent . . great acting ( Excellent job with Samuel L Jackson in particular ) great plot and characters, and killer absoultely great humor!! just be ready . . for even the " critics " must admit that this is one of those movies that you were never willing to set your mind up to see.

Summary: Almost a good movie
Review: This is has been hailed as Tarantino's best movie yet. I don't know why. It is definately better than the disappointing Reservoir Dogs, but nowhere as near as good as True Romance. But Pulp Fiction isn't a bad movie, it's just let down by a few near fatal flaws.

1. The movies ridiculous overlength.

2. Tarantino casting himself in the movie. Pointless, trivial conversations between John Travolta and Samuel L Jackson were funny, but Tarantino rambling on with his squeaky, racehorse-jockey voice was too much. "I know it's good coffee, I'm the one that buys it". Grrrrr!

3. Racism. I think that Tarantino's got some nerve to frequently use the 'N' word in front of a black man. I'd like to see how far he'd get if he said it to a black man in the street.

4. Stupid Ending (or is that middle?). This is one of the dumbest and most mean-spirited endings I have ever seen. It gives the message that crime does pay, and it apparently has inspired some real life robberies.

Summary: very poorly written
Review: This is one of the worst movies that I have ever seen! I was totally confused as to what was going on and could not connect with that lifestyle or what the characters in the movie were trying to accomplish or what the point of the whole movie was. I can't believe this movie won awards!

Summary: An absolute favorite!
Review: This is a fun, wild ride! Violent and not for children but full of perfect filmaking moments. Great performances all around but especially from Samuel L Jackson. I only own 3 films and this is one of them.

Summary: But What's It About?
Review: If you enjoy affectless violence; if you enjoy barroom wit; if you enjoy homophobia, racism, misogyny; then you will enjoy this movie. And since most film critics are straight white men, they loved this movie. It's also a movie for STRAIGHT WHITE MALE GEEKS. Tarantino's great achievement was that he brought geek misanthropic perception real angry, tough visibility. The same GEEKS who flip over STAR WARS flip over PULP FICTION -- it makes them feel special, as though a movie has been made for them.

There's nothing original here, and those who think there is are ignorant of film culture -- have no canonical memory. Rent DAVID MAMET'S GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS to see where this kind of existential maledom comes from; and rent it to see how a master handles the intricacies and the pain. Tarantino parodies it; as he parodies Scorcese and DePalma.

The ultimate postmodernist, Tarantino has nothing original or interesting to say -- he can only ape or approximate the geniuses who came before him. As a female friend of mine said upon seeing PULP FICTION: "You watch this movie and you realize, this man has never been loved. He has never known love in his life."

I will add just one thing: he loves the movies. Parents, let this be a warning: raise your kids with love, not the TV.

Summary: Based down like this, It's legal to buy it....
Review: This is one of my top-movies, along with Deer Hunter, La Haine and ResDogs. Tarantino shows us that he has been to places, or that he at least knows what he is talking about. The script is phenomenal, and the storylines are tangled up in a way i've never seen before. The one-liners used in this film are already classic. It's also nice that you can give the film your own edge, f.i. by considering that Jules was right to stop being a gangster, and that if Vince had only seen his point he'd still be alive. But what could be a better way to go than to be blown away by Bruce Willis, after you've been on the toilet, and you get caught with your pants down. This movie doesn't need a "hidden message", like other movies in the genre do, it's just pure and clean entertainment, and wether you like it or not, i sure as hell do! Go see it at once or twice!

Summary: movie was wild and crazy
Review: who would of thought that jt would die. in this picture. they way they had the picture going back in forth playing the end of the movie in the middle was a different approach. vimme rimmes had a part i don't think any actor would want play good and scary. bruce had the best part in the movie. he got the money and got the girl. who wouldn't want to ride around town. with all of that money. the watch was his down fall. but the way yall play that watch ment more to him than his own life. good movie all around. this is all i going to say. thank you. everybody else were 2nd to the above statements.
