Summary: GREATEST FILM EVER
Review: This is, without a doubt, the greatest film ever made. or, if you don't want to agree with that, at LEAST the greatest film of the 90's. Endlessly inventive, creative, dazzling and hilarious. It offers up two of the greatest scenes in cinema: jack rabbit slims dance, and "adrenaline shot." If you have not seen this, do so RIGHT NOW. No doubt, if you are reading this, you have nothing better to do.

Summary: Filmed in a different way ......
Review: This movie isn't shown in chronological order. I've noticed that this tends to confuse the feeble minded viewers. But they must understand that the movie focuses more on the individuals and their stories. So shooting out of sequence is necessary to give each story its own individual attention. It worked really well in my opinion.

This movie is also loaded with stars. I for one do not generally fall into the whole "star-power to sell a movie" trap, but this movie definetly backs up the stars with a unique set of sub-plots. I would have to say this is easily Tarantino's best film. I used to say that Resevoir Dogs rivaled it, but as it turns out he stole that idea.

Summary: The Best Movie in the 1990s, No Doubt!
Review: One of the best movies of the 1990s. Tarantino shows what great film making is all about. Reservoir Dogs is good but this movie put Tarantino on the map. Excellent performances by Samuel Jackson, John Travolta, and Bruce Willis. If you hasn't seen this movie, run and go buy it. Its one of the most entertaining, and creative movie in a long time.

Summary: My #2 Crime Movie
Review: A very well made and violent crime tale set in L.A (like all of Tarantino's films) about two hitmen (John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson) , a boxer (Bruce Willis) and his wife (Maria de Medeiros), two diner bandits (Tim Roth and Amanda Plummer) , A Handyman (Harvey Keital) , Two drug dealers (Eric Stoltz and Rosanna Arquette) , a Vietnam war veteran (Christopher Walken) , A crime boss (Ving Rhames) and his coke addict wife (Uma Thurman). Not as wonderful as Reservoir Dogs , but certainly up there. Also starring: Quentin Taraninto , Frank Whaley , Burr Steers , Julia Sweeney , Peter Greene , Bronaugh Gallagher , Duane Whitaker , and Steve Buscemi.

Summary: WOW Cool Moive!!!
Review: This moive is so cool. I wish I was as cool as the caractures in this moive, because I would shoot everybody stupid. My favorite part is when Samual Jackson shoots that guy in the face! Thats so funny! My other favorite is when the bully gets raped by the gump! That is so funny too. I think that scene should of been longer though. Yes this is the best moive of all time for everybody that apprecates good art.

Summary: Great vengeance and furious anger...
Review: Quentin Tarantino's gangster melodrama is riveting from start to finish. Of course, the non-sequential story-telling may make it difficult for some to tell where the start and finish are located. The way the scenes are all connected makes it difficult for me to pick out a favorite one, but I loved the final diner scene. Great roles for John Travolta and Bruce Willis, but Samuel L. Jackson's Jules steals the show. The scenes originally edited from the film, but included on the video are also a nice bonus. Ranked #3 on my all-time favorite movie list.

Summary: Naked Brutality - is it fun?
Review: I have always wondered why this movie is considered fun - it's one of the most blood-chilling films that exist. Full of swear, violent heartless bloodbath of torture and rape - what is so funny? Perhaps it's the effect of propaganda that says that one is supposed to laugh when watching this film. Otherwise I must conclude that 350 people that give this movie a 5-star review would readily become criminals as depicted if they had known that they woould not get caught. Perhaps it expresses the hidden fantasies of many - kill, rape, violate? Its outright sell-off to the mainstream public is that born-again conversion at the end. This is so incredibly corny that if that movie had any sophistication before that point, it was losing it completely at that moment. Thanks, Tarrantino, we now know that meriless criminals actually are well-meant but lost God-obeying sheep who perform their crimes while searching for God's direction that one day dawns on them. Definitely this film will not let you emotionless, but watch Salo for comparision and the message will be different

Summary: Best Film of All Time
Review: Those words get thrown around a lot...the "Best of..." This movie truly lives up to that monicker. In the 30's you had Wizard of Oz; in the 50's "On the Waterfront"; the 70's had "The Godfather" and "Star Wars" and the 90's saw Pulp Fiction shake up the world in much the same manner. "Well, maybe if I had some Lava." "I hate to break it to you, but this isn't the first time I've had a gun pointed at me." "You don't like pork...what are you Jewish?" "Royale with Cheese!" I could list the incredible, camp quotes for pages and pages, but you get the idea. The movie set the trend for all the copycats that would follow. It's definitely not the mainstream movie that most seminal classics are, but it has a beauty, an identity, and a stroke of mental manipulation (i.e. direction) that I have never seen, and we may never see again. All one had to see, to note how incredible this movie was, were the long lines to the awful follow up Jackie Brown. The mainstream will be confused by this movie, but those of us who engage in storytelling know what this epic did to the world.

Summary: Brilliant and heartless.
Review: Brilliant and innovative at the time when it was first released, I can only compare watching this film today with watching a car wreck. Fascinating, it leaves you feeling empty. Now, I know that a lot of people will rip me off for this review, but the world has changed since 1994 and this is how I feel in 2002. I don't mind senseless violence in the movies (one of my favorites is Romper-Stomper) but this movie is heartless and pointless. I give it three stars only for the ground braking role it played in the film making history.
