Summary: SCARY BUT GOOD!
Review: I loved Scream 3! It was a great way to end this suspenseful trilogy....I would've never have guessed it would end the way it ended.......the acting was great and it had such a compelling story to it......I would recommend this movies to friends and I'm glad I didn't waste money by seeing it in theaters.....I hope WEs Craven continues to do horror movies like Scream

Summary: Scream 3
Review: Scream 3 is the conclusion the the hugely popular Scream Trilogy. While Scream 3 outdoes the original Scream, it is equal to Scream 2. The film was directed by Was Craven, but it wasn't wrotten by Kevin Williamson who wrote the first two. That's okay, because sometimes by the third installment you need someone new to bring something fresh to the trilogy. The film stars Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courtney Cox Arquette, Parker Posey, and Omar Epps. The movie basically follows the same story as the first two, but is an excellent conclusion to an excellent horror trilogy.

When Cotton Wheary is murdered, Gale Weathers (Courtney Cox Arquette) seems to think the killings have something to do with Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell.) Sidney has relocated herself to colorado where she hopes to forget the Woodsborow murders. she is also a grief councelor. Gale visits the set of Stab 3:Back To Woodsborow which is the conclusion to the Stab trilogy. There she once again meets Dewey Riley (David Arquette.) Later on, Gale finds out that this killer is a copy cat killer who is killing memebrs of the Stab cast in the order that they die in the movie. After recieving a terrible phone call, Sidney decides to visit the Stab movie set to help Gale & Dewey find out who the killer is. We later find out that the killer may have secret family ties to Sidney....

Overall Grade: A+ (10+++)

Summary: Could have been better, but a great ending for the trilogy
Review: This was an excellent movie, much better than Scream 2 but im not sure if it quite tops the first one. I think the movie would have benefitted if Kevin Williamson, the writer of the first 2, had returned. Also, setting the movie in Hollywood was interesting but I think I would have preferred if it returned to Woodsboro as part of tying the trilogy's ending back with its beginning. However, I did love the way they tied the other movies into this one and managed to wrap up the whole story in a tight package, explaining most of the unanswered questions from the other films. And great Jay & Silent Bob cameo!

Summary: The ONLY way to see the "Scream" Trilogy!
Review: This is a great DVD set! If you're a fan of the "Scream" series, which I am, this is a MUST-HAVE! Not only do you get Dimension's Collector's Series for all three films (which includes a brand new, special features-improved "Scream 2" disc, which is GREAT!), but you also a get a 4th disc which includes many cool features, and a booklet about the series. One of the cool things about the box set are the two exclusives. First is the new version of "Scream 2." If you like the special features-packed "Scream," and "Scream 3," this is just like those. Included on that disc is a new audio commentary with Wes Craven and producers, deleted scenes, outtakes, music videos, TV spots and trailers, and more. Great disc! Second, there is 4th disc, which included a documentary on the "Scream" series, which is really good. Also included on that disc are screen tests, "Scream" outtakes, and even a "screening room," which lets you edit and paste the opening to "Scream 3" in any way YOU like it! Also, the DVD-ROM features are big, with a game, SCREAMsaver, and more! Also, all 4 discs have great audio and video quality, which just adds to the discs quality. So, in closing, this is a GREAT box set. If you're a fan of "Scream," put this is your shopping cart. You'll love it! Totally recommended!

Summary: THIS SERIES SHOULD HAVE ENDED WITH THE 2ND ONE
Review: THE FIRST AND SECOND ONES WERE DONE VERY WELL AND WERE REALLY GOOD. THEY SHOULD HAVE ENDED THIS WITH THE SECOND. THIS ONE IS NO WHERE AS SCARY, OR AS GOOD AS THE PREVIOUS 2.

THEY BRING BACK DAVID ARQUETTE, NEVE CAMBELL AND COURTNEY COX FROM THE OTHER 2 AND THEY REALLY, REALLY TRY TO MAKE THIS ONE WORK BUT CAN'T. THIS MOVIE IS REALLY POINTLESS AND FUNNY. BUT I REALLY DON'T THINK THEY WANTED IT TO BE FUNNY. THEY REALLY MISSED THEIR MARK ON THIS ONE. IF YOU SAW THE OTHER TWO, CONSIDER THE SERIES DONE WITH THE SECOND ONE AND DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS ONE.

Summary: Surprised
Review: I'm not a person that loves teen slasher flicks. I'm just about 16 years old, but none of them ever scare me, and I just get annoyed by the stupid plot and terrible dialogue. When I first saw Scream, the original, I found it to be okay, (3.5 stars out of 5), and then saw Scream 2 before deciding that, yes, all teen slasher movies are the same. I gave that movie 2 stars on amazon.com, but decided that seeing Scream 3 was a must, just to finish the trilogy.

I watched this movie last night and was shocked. The plot was smart and had lots of twists. The acting was pretty good, and the script wasn't half bad. Is it true? Could a cheap horror movie actually be enjoyed by me? Apparently. Of all the Scream films, this one definitely had the most impressive plot. I'm so glad that this film didn't continue to go downhill as it had after the original...but I don't know what could possibly be worse than Scream 2.

Overall, I suggest that you watch this movie. If you're a fan of slasher movies, this is a must. If you're more into the Silence of the Lambs-type movies, you might just be surprised with this one. It's nowhere near as good as SOTL, but it's definitely worth a watch...I might just buy this movie.

Summary: The "Star Wars" of this genre and a great one at that!
Review: Well what can I say but.... AWESOME! Let me tell you when I first saw the first Scream I had no idea what I was in for.... Fave horror director of mine and new to the scene writer Kevin Williamson have brought back the scare and fun in the horror genre not seen in years.... With it's outstanding (likeable) characters and on the edge of your seat entertainment Scream never let's up. Clever twists and turns are another bonus and so is the fact that there was a sequal follow up, very quickly to the video release of the origional.... It is not like the first Scream at all it is different and special in it's own way as like the first. The opening scene (i won't spoil it) is the most shocking of the film. But no matter how shocking Craven and Williamson keep the contrast yet again beautifully tight. With twice the in-jokes and this time and poking yet again at the genre Scream 2 is definently one that we shall remember for years to come. Finally what we have all been waiting for Scream 3. All I can say is well done again to Wes and new writer Erin Krueger for this definitive masterpiece of cinema. For the last time Craven conspires to bring us the final chapter in this series which has made cinema history with a great story. I have respect for Krueger as he doesn't borrow from Williamson at all as his script is his own. I loved this film as much as the first two. It is well shot and paced which makes the build up of the climax more exciting. I didn't talk much about it as DVD'S sorry about that but I wanted to talk more about it as a film. Sure without a doubt all the DVD'S have great features as well as the bonus disk, but for those who haven"t seen any of them who only hear it's scary or it's fun I wanted to give them an understanding of the films so they watch it as not just a scary movie but a movie with substance. This is such a rare specialty in this genre and personally I don't think will ever be repeated,I highly reccommend them all as individal films all as the boxed set....

Summary: Very Good
Review: I saw this movie when it first came out, but i wasn't satisfied i had to own it for myself. There were things that i didn't see the first time that i had the great opportunity to see once it was in my possession. The ending wasn't quite what i had expected but very good nonetheless.

Summary: As Good As It Gets
Review: This Scream Trilogy is exceptionally well-scripted and beautifully acted. First, you have thw wonderful cast such as David Arquette ("Beautiful Girls" "Johns" "3000 Miles to Graceland") playing Deputy "Dewey" Riley, Neve Campbell ("The Craft" "Wild Things" "Drowning Mona" TV's "Party of Five") playing Sidney Campbell, and Courteney Cox Arquette (TV's "Friends" "The Runner" "3000 Miles to Graceland") playing the hard-as-nails reporter and writer Gale Weathers. Second, you have the master of horror, Wes Craven ("A Nightmare On Elm Street" "The Wishmaster"). All three Scream movies were excellent. They master in horror, suspence and some romance. "The Scream trilogy" is a must-see. Hold on to your seat, you're ready for a ride!
