Summary: Lookin for a DVD, look no further
Review: This is a quality show, and the makers have reinvented superman so it can be accessible and new to those who are not familiar with the comic like me. There is something for everyone in this series, and I feel that this is one of the better shows on television right now. Everything about this dvd is great and I look forward to the rest of this series dvd's.

Summary: Superman meets Buffy meets Dawson's Creek
Review: Buffy had the hellmouth; Smallville has a large number of kryptonite fragments giving the local villains all kinds of bizarre (although sometimes downright silly) powers which they then use to take on the young Clark Kent. The high point of the show is the chemistry between Tom Welling and the gorgeous Kristin Kreuk as Clark and Lana; but the most interesting character is probably the young Lex Luthor. Very cleverly scripted; long-time fans of the Superman comic book should keep an eye out for the numerous one-liners which foreshadow Clark's future. Especially Lana's 'Come on Clark, I know you're not made of steel' =)

Review: They shouldn't of deleted the scene in the pilot where Lex is in the plane with his dad and uses his inhaler.

Summary: ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS ON TV!!!!!
Review: I love Smallville!!! I think it is one of the best shows on tv and I love the way a young Clark Kent is portrayed and the relationship between him and Lex Luthor. You can't help but feel sorry for Lex and Clark knowing what is to happen in the not so far off future. I can't wait for Season two to be released on DVD!! I will definitely be the first in line to pre-order it from Amazon! Excellent show!!!!!

Summary: remembers
Review: This dvd is great for remembering when: Clark couldn't even walk up to Lana with out falling. Remembering when Lana and Whit were the perfect couple.Remembering when that girl had an obsession over Lana. Remembering when you would jump out your couch at the sight of Lex, cause you thought he knew Clark's secret.. I could go on and on. Lets just sum it up and say that Smallville dvd season one is the best.

Summary: SMALLVILLE IS THE BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Smallville is the best show ever. I love this epic about Clark Kent before he was the man in tights and his growing in Smallville aka "home of the strange and town of the weird." Clark Kent persues his destiny while fighting it too. His troubles in love, friendship, foes, and the truth make this show awesome. Tom Welling does a great job at playing the man who will one day be known as Superman. I love this show and I hope u will watch and love it too.

Summary: We like the human side of Clark
Review: We were hooked on the first episode! We've read Superboy & Superman comics as kids--we're in our 50's. Clark displays a
very human side as a compassionate, caring person who would help
anyone he can who needs it. And he has the emotions of young
people who are learning about themselves. Only he has to also
deal with his new abilities that pop up at unusual times. We
love that Clark and Lex are friends. Lex wants to do good, but
his bum of a father only cares about the almighty dollar and will
crush anyone in his way. It's too bad that Clark and Lex eventually become enemies. When does the second season come out?

Summary: What's the word..?
Review: Bland. That's it. Now, I have tried to give this show a fair chance. I have watched it carefully and with consideration but in the end it all comes down to this: I think it's boring.

Practically every episode has one or several of these scenes in them:

* Clark's father patting him on the shoulder and giving him some weak speech about whatever problem Clark has to face this week. Yes, fine, you love him. I get it already.

* Lex trying to figure ot what Clark's secret is. You're going to be a criminal mastermind Lex, wake up! Also, you're destined to be mortal enemies anyway. Jeez, just get on with it.

* Clark and Lana standing in the attic of the barn, either gazing into each other's eyes, never actually saying how they feel about each other, just dancing around the subject.
Or looking into that god damned sunset they never seem to be able to miss.

* Chloe getting upset at Clark because he 1. bats his big, sensitive eyes at Lana and not at her and 2. well, pretty much the same as number one. That's her character: being mad at Clark and being jealous at Lana.

* Pete, well, what does Pete get to do? Can't think of a thing, actually. But that puts him on par with Whitney, whose only job is to look at Clark with suspicion because maybe, just maybe, he's interested in Lana. And guess what? He's right!

I guess if you wan't predictable tv with poor characterization and storylines, then you watch Smallville.
