Review: I'm a big fan of all the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET films (yes, I even liked PART 2 and PART 5, for some reason most people say those are the worst in the series) so this DVD boxed set is like a dream come true. The set includes all seven films, plus a bonus disc titled "The Nightmare Encyclopedia" and this holds many surprises for die-hard fans of the series. You even get to see the 3-D ending for FREDDY'S DEAD. If you're a big fan of Freddy Kreuger or of horror films in general and also have a DVD player, then this boxed set is for you.

Summary: A Nightmare on Elm Street Collection
Review: First off of all I don't own a DVD player or DVD's. But I would like to say I don't own the collection but I own them all, with out the collector's box. These's are very great horror flicks with the foolish horror character Freddy Kruger. If I was you, I wouldn't buy these's films on DVD why? Cause it's all widescreen. But like I said, buy all 7 foolish horror flicks on video instead of DVD.

Summary: What's the big deal?
Review: Alright, I'll freely admit that some (alright most) of the movies in this set lacks any kind of actual plot, or direction - but who really cares? When I watch a movie, I want to be entertained, I want to escape reality and enjoy it. The experience is just plain ruined if you decide to nitpick everything that's wrong with a movie. I managed to get this set for $70 and frankly, I consider it well spent. It's the best way to escape something for hours.

Summary: Greatest DVD Collection
Review: I'm not a big fan of New Line's DVD's. Don't get my wrong, they make documentaries and a lot of extras. I hate they quit the spanish subtitles. After I bought Blade (and see that it did not have even a track or subtitles in spanish) , I promise myself I will not buy any more New Line's and better will go to Columbia's, MGM and Fox Disc. I do very well, until this set comes. This was an horror icon of the 80's I can't miss it!!. About the set, it's incredible, two of the movies comes with a commentary (The first and the last), Freddy's Dead comes in 3-D and 2-D, (you can choose at the begining). The remastered audio is the best i heard, just hear the trailer for Freddy's Dead. It's plenty of extras, music videos. the documentary items are well done, there are a lot of people and situations (just look the set for the eating bed at nightmare 1). A must buy for two reasons: Being all the freddy's movies in widescreen with outstanding video and audio, and a massive collection of extras at this time.

Review: if u like horror movies , u will "die" on this! its great for a night full of nightmares and stuff :-) Freddy never looked better , and im sure u will like his look on your DVD player . The sound is really great ! I really loved watching the movies again (except for number 2.. i hate number 2 ) , and im sure u will love them too (except for number 2 .. ) Or freddy will get Ya! :))

Review: The Nightmare Collection is probly one of the best movie collection`s ever made. I Liked how at the end of each film you get to see the origanl trailer,and the interview with the films director. So if I were you I would get this Collection because it worth it.

Review: this is the best set of dvd's ever. The extra features are outstanding. The first nightmare beats all of them though. while the funny freddy is cool its better to have the dark freddy. dont even waste your time though with nightmare 2 the sound, picture, and the movie itself is worse then dumb. The best part of this collection is the extra dvd that has really cool stuff. back when I was little I was being baby-sat by my cousin she liked to watch MTV, when she went to the bathroom freddy kruger came on, that was the first time i ever saw freddy kruger. After I bought this set and put in the extra dvd i had no idea that i was going to see that freddy MTV thing. This set will coast you alot but you will never once ask yourself why you bought this.

Review: This collection is cool. Nightmare 1 and 2 were ok, 3 and 4 were not as great, 5 stunk, however Freddy's Dead was the best. This dvd pak has everything: All 7 movies, and a bonus dvd with interviews, trailers and music videos from Fatboys and Dokken in Nightmare 3 and 5. Very cool and inexpensive product..
