Summary: Tokiko? Hmm
Review: A decent anime series, for those with twisted minds. The animation is superb, the characters are well described, the plot is interesting... but the theme is sorta... for lack of a better word, girly. Although I am selling my copies, I woudld recommend this series to any anime lover, along with Trigun and Bebop

Summary: A sci-fi mystery.
Review: A robot named Key goes to a large city in Japan, she needs to make thirty thousand friends in order to become human. She mets up with an old friend and makes a new one. The animation is superpurb. The story is well done and the music is great. I would recomend anyone who loves anime.

Summary: An epic tale of a robotic girl
Review: A robot named Tokiko (Key) goes to highschool in rural Japan until one day she is summoned from class to find that her grandfather has died. Having little in the way of feelings she has trouble accepting this. Although he died quickly he had time to leave a message to key, The message says that he had found a way to for her to transcend her robotic body and become human, however The process will take the friendship of at least 30,000 friends. The following day Key leaves for tokyo, she tries many things but befriends no one. After a full day she stops and runs into a photographer an then into her childhood friend Sakura. The story isn't great if your looking for a laugh but it is interesting and it will have you guessing at every turn and the music for something like this is superb And the ajo corperation is very well thought out but I'd definately recomend this to anyone who enjoys mature animes.

Summary: the sweet, the beautiful, the wonderful anime called ktmi
Review: ah yes... key the metal idol, a reather old, and beautiful anime, my most favorite, if you come acros it, defenetly get it, it's very very good, a heart worming story, about friendship, and yea, some adventure i gues, i never did get to see vol. 8, don't have the money to buy it, but hopefully my friend will, anyway, this anime should be more popular, it's too good to be left out like this, (...) thank you, and please, do watch the show!

Summary: for key, love is power.
Review: first off let me say that this is the best anime of all time. for all you buffy fans: you know those eps when joss really outdoes himself, and every scene is a work of art? well that's what key is like. after you watch it, you feel like you've had some beautiful, yet terribly tragic dream that you can't quite remember. i also should say that this isn't for everyone. not because of violence (there is some, but i've seen worse on star trek), or nudity (again, there's some, but in a nonsexual context- up to the fifth ep anyway, that's all i've seen- (...) have nipples, unlike in shyer animes, but that's all.). the real reason this isn't for everyone is simply because not everyone will understand it. this is really deep stuff, be prepared to stare blankly at the screen hours after the tape's done. ^_^

Summary: One of the best stories of all time
Review: Honestly, it's a deep and touching story. The fragile and innocent main character first seems to leave you desiring something more.. but through the series, you get that more. And then some. In total summary, the end episodes will leave you tingly if not in tears. A superb movie series, it could have been aired in thearters and won an academy award.

Summary: Strangely addictive
Review: I couldn't stop watching it until I was done. And with 7 episodes on one DVD, you get your money's worth. If you like this one, then you should also check out Chobits, which is sorta the same story.

Summary: Key kicks robot
Review: I must say, that this is one of the best pieces that I have ever viewed. It is a great way to open yourself up to what the anime world has in store for you. It expands to another horizon that is completely amazing, and I recommend anyone to watch it, especially anime-lovers. I enjoyed it and I hope those who also watch it enjoys it as well. You dont know what you are missing!

Summary: Key is a darned good anime.
Review: Key is a great anime with a great message.

Key is really more of a societal commentary than a classical anime. While many anime series have a story up front and then a deeper hidden meaning that, if you blink, you might miss. Key is very upfront, you can't miss the message, it smacks you in the face.

The anime itself is well done, but not the best I've seen. The characters are very appropriate and well done, the voice overs match the characters well.

This anime is definately well worth watching. I would put it right up there in the top 5 or so anime that I have seen so far. It is stand alone and would probably appeal to many people who generally don't watch, or don't like anime. However, it is slow at certain points and some parts are fractured and confusing, but it will all come together and make sense at the end.
