Summary: 3 episodes missing
Review: This box set is great. The series is great. If you've watched it you know it leaves you hanging. The last 3 episodes are in the short Bubblegum Crash series which amazon.com does not sell...the part of the series included in this box set is excellent and totally worth buying. The Hurricane Live disk is pretty loaded and very impressive, but It's not really my kind of music. If your into that kind of stuff you'll flip out.

Summary: The Second Installment of One of the Best Anime Series Ever!
Review: This DVD presents the episodes 4-6 of the Bubblegum Crisis series. Episode 4 steps away from the Genon-Knight Saber conflict to one man's deep-rooted hatred for a biker gang and his attempt to extract a very high-tech revenge. The fifth episode begins with a group of women attempting an escape from a top-secret space station, leading to the most personal injury Priss has ever received at the hands of a fabled Boomer model. Episode 6 presents the greatest challenge yet to the Knight Sabers, in the form of an evil group of "Knight Sabers" seeking to eliminate the real Genom-fighting quartet.

The series, inspired by Blade Runner and itself a tremendous influence on following anime, is full of fast-paced action and incredible music. This DVD provides anime newcomers with an excellent introduction to the world of anime.

Summary: Must-have '80s Anime!!!
Review: This DVD presents the first three episodes of the Bubblegum Crisis series. The first episode presents the post-earthquake world of MegaTokyo in 2032, with Genom Corporation's Boomers wreaking havoc in the city, and a band of four women (the Knight Sabers) in hardsuits protecting the innocents. The second episdoe focuses on one of the women, Linna, and a close friend who is targeted by a Genom executive. In the final episode, the conflict between Genom and the Knight Sabers escalates.

The series, inspired by Blade Runner and itself a tremendous influence on following anime, is full of fast-paced action and incredible music. This DVD provides anime newcomers with an excellent introduction to the world of anime.

Summary: Good? Yeah Right!
Review: This has got to be one of the BEST animations I have ever seen. Great transitions from action to calmness then exploding in eyepopping effects. To put it kindly, if you Don't watch this movie, You WILL regret it. And may you rot in peice.

Summary: Best episode ever...
Review: This is arguably the best and most anticipated anime box-set ever. Bubble Gum Crisis is the story of an all-female group of bounty hunters specializing in combat against "boomers"; Terminator-like robots created by Genom corporation. The series exudes style from every pore. The character designs by longtime AIC designer Kennichi Sonoda (Gunsmith Cats, Gal Force) are superb. The music is legendary. Included are all 8 episodes, all music videos, including Hurricane Live 1 and 2, as well as art galleries, liner notes, and song lyrics. Cyber-punk and anime fans, you have no chance to survive, make your time. 5 big, fat, hard-suited stars.

Summary: GREAT
Review: This is one of the pioneering shows of Anime! I remember shelling out $35 to $40 for ONE tape! Blech..what a rip off! But it got me hooked on the "Knight Sabers"! This show is fun and shows it's age with the clothes they wear etc but is a GREAT show and is the BEST in the series. If you are a fan buy THIS edition, the casing is junky as its a big clunky box with plain ol jewel cases etc but its well worth the price alone for fans of the show. The characters were done very well in this show amidst some sillyness, but not as silly as the new show 2040.

Summary: Great anime series
Review: This series is one of the greats for anime! It is the old school anime and therefore the animation isn't as good as it is today, but the character development is very deep, and the plots are incredible!
