Summary: A very good action / gore movie
Review: Battle Angel was a very good movie I was interested in it the whole time. I would recommend it very much. You have to like a little gore and not be sad if a dog dies. It has a mix of love, anger, violence/blood, and a very good story line. I bought it because you can watch it over and over agin you should buy it too.

Summary: Definitely One of The Best!!!
Review: Beautifully done. The amazing story of a young Hunter-Warrior's love for a wanted man. This anime full of guts and gore mixed in with a moving romance. Truly the most moving anime I have ever seen!

Summary: This is a MUST Buy!!!

Summary: Excellent in all respects.
Review: This an excellent stand-alone anime movie. Unlike a lengthy series, where anime typically shines, this one is good for anime freaks and non-fans alike. Excellent action and drama as Gally, a cybernetic girl, takes the role of hunter-warrior and comes to terms with her completely artifical body.

Summary: Bloody ultra-violent manga with a heart.
Review: Unfortunetly, when they adapted this wildly popular comic story by Yukito Kishiro into video, they took it upon themselves to change the heroine's name and much of the story line. I still found it entertaining; a cute female cyborg with amnesia, taken under the wing of a bounty hunter who's also her "mechanic". She undertakes the ugly profession on a quest for self discovery. The main character is thoughtful and endearing, but make no mistake- this video isn't for kiddies.

Summary: Dark future
Review: Battle Angel is one of my favorite animes. It's unfortunate that this is all there is, because there is so much more that happens afterwards, like the motorball days or the tuned experience.

Adv does a great job is voice actor choices, all except for gally. When she yells, it is so annoying. Thank heaven there is the japanese version on the DVD.

Good stuff, but I wish the series would have been longer.

Summary: cool movie ,but the books are better
Review: I saw this movie a while ago and recently bought a copy ,only to once again watch it now.Afterward ,I thought to myself,"the books are a whole lot better".Don't get me wrong ,the movie is pretty cool ,but that's about it ,because in the books ,you got to see a whole lot of stories develope one from the other. The movie was just a short sum of some of those stories. It's a well told story(in the movie)but things are kinda slowed down and then rushed near the end, kinda leaving you thinking it would be nice to see a series of this story. The movie does no justice to the books ,but visually ,it was totally cool to see one of my favorite characters in motion.
Over-all ,the story was cool ,but at the same time, a let-down ,just waiting to be told some more instead of ending.
