Summary: Fantastic
Review: Well, let's see. I probably haven't seen one movie more than twice and I've already watch this one at least 15 times. This movie was incredible.

Summary: Had to FIGHT not to eject the tape in the first ten minutes!
Review: FIGHT CLUB was the worst movie I saw so far this year (2000). It was nothing that I expected. There was very little true action and even less "fighting."

This PULP FICTION wanna be sure didn't do it for me!

Summary: Low Blow
Review: A good looking movie. Edward Norton is always watchable. The plot is absolutely different. We're rooting for this underdog theme. But in the final round, the audience is hit with a low blow that can only be vocalized as disbelief on a grand scale. If you watch it at home, it's an interesting failure. But for me at ringside, I was robbed.

Summary: It's Genius
Review: This is a film that should be first-priority for everyone. It has it all: Violence, a philosophy, Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. BUY IT.

Summary: I Am Jack's Tickled Funny Bone
Review: This is one of the funniest movies that I have seen in years! It is relentless in the way that it bombards the viewer with surprises and nonsequiters.

I have heard some reviews by mainstream critics that have accused this film of being low-brow and misogynistic. I believe they have missed the point. This is actually a character study of some very interesting people.

I am not going to give much away because, if you have already seen the movie, you know. If you haven't, I would hate to spoil the fun of the first viewing for you. But look for Bob. The way that he is introduced near the beginning of the film kills me every time. And you'll never look at a bar of soap quite the same again.

I am Jack's unfulfilled need for the instant gratification of saying more about "Fight Club". But this is one that you have to see for yourself.

Summary: You'll remember this one!
Review: Had I paid attention to the lukewarm critical reviews this movie received upon its relaease, I would have passed it by in the video store, and that would have been a mistake. This is a brilliantly conceived, written and acted examination of the age-old philosphical question: what is the meaning of life? "Fight Club" attempts to answer this question about modern life, which the film views as a vicious cycle of consumerism and dissatisfaction, and then you die. This movie is a lot more than a series of punch-ups among testosterone-driven Neanderthals; it stayed with me for days. I believe it will make you think, and that's a good thing!

Summary: Nice Movie!
Review: When I first heard of this movie I waited a long time to see it in the theaters, but i couldn't because I live overseas. So finally when I got back to the US I got to buy it on DVD and it was well worth it! Pitt's acting in this is one of the best, and plot is confusing at first but you will get it later. An excellent movie!

Summary: How does a movie like this get made in Hollywood today?
Review: Never have I seen a movie so thought provoking, so intelligent, so dakr, or so funny. How did this movie get made, and by a huge studio like 20th Century Fox? I have no idea. You're either going to love, or hate it. I find however that 99.9 percent of the people who hate this movie feel it was over their heads. It's not the type of flick you can watch, and keep tracking of while you're flipping between football, or 'Taxi Cab Confessions' on HBO. It requires your full attention. And it's not going to spoon feed you all the answers. So take a cue from the film's narrator, and take responsibility for your decisions, your actions, and your questions. A movie that can be interpreted on so many different levels, it's chic, it's stylish, and it has the balls to laugh at things some movies wouldn't even touch. Testicular Cancer, Terrorism, underground boxing clubs, and castration are just a few items this movie pokes fun at. A brilliant satire, with quotable dialogue, fun and interesting characters, and a plot that'll leave you thinking for days. Simply put, 'Fight Club' is the best movie I've ever seen. And I think it's the first classic of the next century. Long live Chuck Palahniuk and David Fincher!

Summary: One of the best movies I've seen
Review: I skipped this movie last year based on media announcements stating that this was a boxing movie. This couldn't be more wrong. Sure, there is violence in this film, but that is not the point. Fight club is a very dark comedy that makes fun of consumerism, but not in a pedantic way. Being a young professional living in a high rising apartment building, watching Edward Norton, burned out from a non-fullfiling job, skimming through a Swedish furniture to complete his 'life', is just too funny. Fightclub is one of the few movies I kept thinking about and moved me to buy the DVD. If you're a 20-30 something you owe it to yourself to watch this movie, especially if you liked 'The Game' (also produced by Fincher).

BTW The Dust brothers' sound track will kick your Dolby Surround systems butt.

Summary: Best Movie Ever
Review: One of the best and most thought provoking movies of our time. David Fincher's directing never seizes to amaze. He pulls you into a world which is so distant yet so close to home. Brad Pitt and Edward Norton bring this movie alive and you can't help but laugh at the parts involving Meat Loaf.
