Summary: JOHNNY DEPP IS DREAMY! *sigh*
Review: Johnny Depp is smokin' hot in this John Waters film as Crybaby, a motorcycle ridin' bad boy of the greaser-elvis-rockabilly variety who sheds a single tear and makes all the girls swooooon. Crybaby is leader of the "drape" gang, which includes feisty sis Ricki Lake, who's "so happy all knocked-up". He has his sights set on local "square" Allison, who's tired of being a good girl. Traci Lords is great as a big-busted slutty drape trollop with an attitude. Iggy Pop (bow down to the father of punk) plays crybaby's redneck uncle, who's MIGHTY close with Grandma, if you catch my drift. hee-hee!
Oh, and don't miss seeing Hatchetface (gee, why do they call her that?...) please note: for repeated viewings, i recommend having the remote handy, thumb poised over the mute button. You can only suffer through the likes of "king crybaby" and "tear drops are falling" so many times. ENJOY!

Review: This movie is a bumpy road. It's good, then bad, then excellent then horrible. Very strange spoof of 50's stuff with Ricki Lake as the main character, Johnny Depp as Cry-Baby, and Amy Locane as your average 50's girl. Very spoofy. They boyfriend throws a bag of fake popcorn to his girlfriend. I guy dresses like a monkey and ruins and wedding. They have Buddy Holly's voice narrating a part. Sounds funny???? I think that if you .... it you won't decide if it is good or bad. Like a 2-hour talk show. Hey, it's Ricki lake! Look for the scene where Depp climbs through a tunnel.

Review: Let me first start off by saying that the people who didn't like this movie are crazy. On the top ten greatest movies ever made this should be like number 3. Johnny Depp is gorgeous. I have devoted 13 years of my life to worshipping him. (then he had to marry that beautiful french girl). But I digress, this movie has great music, great acting, great writing, great everything. My family still quotes this movie whenever appropriate. I love this movie, and if you don't then...well... you have bad taste!

Review: Crybaby is one of those rare movies that makes you laugh. It's supposed to be a terrible movie and that's what makes it so great. I saw some reviews saying that this is a Johnny Depp movie. Please. This isn't a Johnny Depp movie, it's a John Waters movie. Probably one of his best and funniest. The fact that it's a musical makes it even better. Waters can just surprise you with something new in every one of his films. Buy this movie. It's something to cherish for years to come!

Review: My boyfriend and I just finished watching this movie, and it's still as good as the first time I saw it. And as for Mr. "I Don't Do Chick Flicks"? Well, he enjoyed it too. The final verdict? Two thumbs up. The music is well placed, and doesn't turn this film into a cheesy sing along. Very funny, and a good movie for all!
