Summary: Wow!! MGM decided to release this film ON DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I just read in "America Today" that David Lynch's "Wild At Heart" would be released on DVD in September, 19. The DVD will contain many delated scenes including an uncut scene where with Harry Dean Stanton's body is happening all kinds of things...

Summary: WHEN THIS MASTERPIECE WILL BE RELEASED ON DVD?
Review: I just want to know when I can buy this film. It is a masterpiece. By the way, U.S. and Canada are the countries with no taste in art films so if the movie will not be released I would not be surprized.

Summary: The best role of Nicolas Cage
Review: It seems to me that this is the best role Nicolas Cage ever played. His character is funny, over the top. It would be a shame if MGM would not release this movie on DVD. The whole movie it`s a comedy, even in its violent parts. Without a doubt the best film Lynch ever directed, after "Blue Velvet".

Summary: This movie should be released on DVD.
Review: I love this movie, it should be released on DVD.

Summary: Very overrated
Review: David Lynch has always made interesting films. Well, besides this one. I really can't see anything in this film that holds me to the screen the way Lost Highway, Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks, etc can.

I'd say people should at least rent this one, maybe they'd like it. But I suggest renting one of Lynch's other works first.

Summary: Weird Romeo & Juliet On The Hot Road
Review: I like this movie, it`s a masterpiece on the road with such an extreme violence that people from America might puke. Nicolas Cage and Laura Dern are making their characters so natural that humor excuse the gore and the violence. From my point of view it`s a comedy designed by David Lynch. There is some great acting in this movie and it should be released by MGM on DVD. I will never understand how they are releasing gross DVDs like "Caligula" or stupid comedies and this classic one... But maybe we can do something about it.

Summary: It¿s the brain damage, dude
Review: A romantic comedy for people who would never admit they like romantic comedy: a romance for the grunge set replete with lots of flowing blood, guns going off, cigarettes apuffing, and slimy bit characters met on the lam. David Lynch directs with snap and shock and a devious sense of humor, but I think he ought to have the courage to make a romantic comedy straight out. He splashes guts and rubs our face in vomit to disguise the simple love story so his leather and chains audience can imagine they're seeing life in the raw instead of being seduced as their parents so often were by yet another Hollywood romance.

Nicholas Cage plays Barry Gifford's Sailor like a dumbed-down Elvis Presley (and that was before he grabbed the microphone), and Laura Dern as Lula captures well the mentality of a sweet, shallow, but meat-eating little thing who just wants to have fun. When I first saw her in Smooth Talk (1985) (from a story by Joyce Carol Oates) I thought she was just flat out sexy, but here she seems a little dull even if she does have "breasts that stand up and say hello." Diane Ladd, as Lula's mother, employing some Phyllis Diller shtick, is funny as the wicked witch of the west on testosterone.

What saves this movie from the ridiculous is the fact that the poor saps, Sailor and Lula, really love each other. He makes her "hotter than Georgia asphalt," and he finds her "dangerously cute." They have a whole bunch of mindless love-but maybe that's the best kind.

Summary: Wild At Heart On DVD will be great
Review: Yes, the other guy was right. This movie should be released on DVD. But my question is how? How everybody who loves the movie can express themselves clearly on this point? I don`t know but I do love this movie, the acting is great. It won "Golden Palm" at Cannes Film Festival ten years ago.

Summary: WHEN THIS MASTERPIECE WILL BE RELEASED ON DVD?
Review: I just want to know when I can buy this film on DVD. I saw "Wild At Heart" in Europe on "ARTE" in its widescreen edition. Here, in Canada I could`t find this video to buy except on VSH tape in LONG PLAY format. A shame. I hope that the film will be released on DVD, otherwise I tend to believe that America has no taste in art.

Summary: Rent It!
Review: "Wild at Heart" became a gauge for me as it relates to friends' taste in movies. I recommended it to everyone and waited for their reaction. Those that didn't like it, I didn't recommend any more movies to and didn't use their recommendations. Those that did like it usually became good or better friends...
