Summary: from Fringe Video Fanzine Issue #005
Review: After the death of her mother Inga [played by former ballet star Marie Liljedahl and Playboy Sex Star] moves in with her financially burdened aunt Greta. The full figured Inga is shy and very nieve. Aunt Greta schemes to set her lovely niece up with a rich friend [Einar] who has a taste for young virgins and is willing to take her to the opera. Much in the tradition of Fanny Hill (1964) Greta is hoping for a little monetary gain, and some free time with her young sex boy toy / gold-digger Karl. Little does Greta know, but Inga and Karl have eyes for each other. Inga slowly awakens to her new desires, and has to choose her first lover. Will it be Einar, Karl or the local boy who lives down the road??? Tame by today's standards the movie was one of the first Euro films to shock American audiences. At the time of the release Inga was a sexually explicit film with heavy sex scenes, and a director who insisted that to get the desired effect, the "masturbation scene" be real, un-staged, and filmed on a closed set. A hit all over the world Inga is a film that can be enjoyed by both men and women. It captures the story of a "...young woman on the verge of sexual awakening..." A wonderful piece of classy film making thankfully restored and uncut from the original 35mm negative by Retro Seduction.

Summary: Cute but so what?
Review: No plot... running time 1hour at best. Good technics, good actors... but the plot is boring and it's not very explicit.

Summary: Fast forward review
Review: Nothing here, just some brief black and white nudity, but the girls are nowhere near young enough to earn any lolita type sleaze points. The extra footage is a laugh, just a brief piece of fully clothed youths dancing. Zero stars.

Summary: Cute!
Review: The theme is quite daring for its era but the picture is not. Typical European cinema willing to be progressive in the black and white era, touching sensitive realities of the youth. If you are a collector of that kind of films you should have it, if you are not you might be disapointed.
