Review: "Sid and Nancy" is an extraordinary film! It is an excellent portrayal of the couple. I am a huge fan of the Sex Pistols, and I thought the film was entertaining as well as brilliant! There was a perfect mix of humor and drama. I recommend this film to anyone who is a fan of the Sex Pistols, or anyone interested in the mystery behind the couple and Nancy's puzzling death. The film is also for those who are not easily offended.

Review: this was actually a pretty good movie. the reason i gave it a 4 was chloe webb! this woman drives me NUTS! why didn't this role go to courtney love? she would have been PERFECT for the role. gary oldman had a GREAT performance. another reason for the 4 was it was kinda long and not 100% truthful which would have been cool to see. my favorite scene was the dumpster one. i would have liked to have seen sid actually die in the movie. the sound quality kind of sucked! i say do a remake that would be so cool w/ all of the new technology and stuff we have today!

Review: When i first saw this movie..there was something about it that made me want to watch it again. So i watched it 3 more times before we had to return it. Then i re-rented it...And its way overdue. I watch it everynight. I find it to be a really brilliant movie. I am a big fan of the sex pistols, and i like to see things like that...I am honored that someone could make a movie like that. I am going to go before i end up having a hernia...i would just like it to be known that sid vicious is awesome and that was an awesome movie.

Summary: Enjoy It For What It Is
Review: First of all like most movies this is fictionlized and only based on a true story. If you are a die hard Sex Pistols fan that can't accept anything slightly varying from truth (up to and including the color of Nancy's cat) don't see this film. However if you are fan that accept the movie on its own terms than please watch this great film. Gary Oldman's performance is extradordinary and the story is engrossing if not accurate.

Review: Writing as a Sex Pistols fan, I really can't stand this film. The actress playing Nancy is more annoying and ugly than the woman herself. If this was how Nancy really was someone would have killed her long before Sid. None of the Sex Pistols have endorsed this movie, citing that the majority of it is complete fiction. The plot, if you can call it that, really meanders. Gary Oldman is likable as always, one good thing the film has going for it.

Summary: Shocking But Good!
Review: A friend who was into Punk Rock and The Sex Pistols got me interested in watching this movie and though quite shocking and drepressing I liked the movie and just thought how sad it was about what happened to Sid and Nancy. After I watched this movie my friend suggested I read a book that was written by Nancy Spungen's mother so I took her advice and read the book which is titled I Don't Want To Live This Life and written by Deborah Spungen and liked it and it's even more shocking and depressing then this movie.

Summary: one of the best films i've ever seen
Review: alex cox is a genius. chloe webb and gary oldman were absolutely amazing in this film. they dipicted the characters so well, at times i thought i was watching the real sid & nancy. the film is such a great balance of a love story, the story of the sex pistols, and the battle of sid & nancy against heroin. the final scene is beautiful and very euphemistic. it's so difficult to believe that this story is real-not fictional in any way. it's such an amazing plot with a surprise twist ending (that is, if you've never heard the story of sid and nancy). no negative comments--this film is a classic and sure to carry on the saga that is sid & nancy.

Review: Though this movie isnt very true to what happened in real life,
It has great acting, it verry depressing and there is a lot of cussing but its one of the greatest movies ever made.
Gary Oldman is such a great actor and can play any part.
