Summary: I like my coffee like I like my women . . .
Review: Eddie Izzard is brilliant. Also, check out the HBO special especially his Englebert Humperdink (sp?) bit.

Summary: You won't stop laughing!
Review: It's a good thing Eddie Izzard has his works on video, because he makes you laugh so hard--unless you can rewind it--you're gonna miss the next joke. This is the most hysterically funny thing I've ever seen in my life.

Summary: "no pajamas in the land of the dead"
Review: Yeah, it's totally criminal that this is the only Eddie video available in the states. It's enough to make me consider investing in a PAL format VCR. Eddie is amazing. A real antidote to the imperialist hard-ons that run our world, and that everyone seems so anxious to emulate. Anyway, Eddie's preternaturally funny, so fluid and radiant with spontaneity and pleasure. Glorious indeed.

Summary: And,... There you have it!
Review: Eddie's animated style is simply "Glorious". After seeing his "Dress to Kill" show I was instantly Izzardly dependent. His performance is delivered in a way that only Eddie can render. I loved seeing his 'pre' Dress to Kill characters before they evolved into God, Scooby-Doo and the Holy Ghost. You become so caught up in his performance that the other characters come alive on stage with him. This man is a comic genius, seeing the "gloriously" funny things all around us. This laugh a minute executive transvestite is a must see.

Summary: ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!!!!
Review: My husband and I first saw Eddie in his HBO special, "Dress To Kill" and we laughed so hard that we couldn't wait to find more performances by Eddie. "Glorious" is just as hilarious and I would recommend it to anyone who loves truly hilarious comedy. Now I'm desperately trying to find videos of his other performances because they are very rare here in the U.S. Eddie rules the world of comedy!!!

Summary: Excellent Eddie performance.
Review: This performance is almost as good as "Dress to Kill." We have enjoyed watching it many times, and each time we discover new humor. If you enjoy Mr. Izzard, you must have and see this.

Summary: Incredible.
Review: This video is quite possibly the funniest thing that I have ever seen. Eddie Izzard is a genius.

Summary: Fabulous, funny, and very, very smart.
Review: Eddie Izzard is a wonderful comic, and I am so glad that a friend of mine introduced me to his work. Seldom do we see a comic anymore who is so funny and so smart at the same time. His sharp views on history, culture, politics, and religion are often cynical, but never bitter. Additionally, his occasionial tangents are nothing short of genius.

Summary: Truly Glorious!
Review: After discovering the talent of Eddie Izzard on his D2K HBO special, I made it my mission in life to learn more. Glorious was my second trip to the brilliantly funny world of Izzard. Not since Monthy Python have I laughed so hard for so long. Eddie wraps his mind around the most mundane and turns it into something fresh and wonderful. I only hope someone produces a movie and incorporates Eddie's view on what a computer user is like in the REAL world! If you haven't discovered Eddie for yourself, I highly recommend you join the growing contingent of Izzard fans and check out Glorious.
