Summary: Luis Miguel Vivo
Review: A great performance by Latin America's most popular artist. Luis Miguel loves a crowd, the bigger the better, and he really turns it on in this concert. Very good quality filming and sound (DTS). It's easy to get so caught up by Luis Miguel's performance, that you start to feel like you are really at the concert. This DVD is an easy show in for my top five list.

Review: After reading all the great reviews here I decided to buy this DVD. One of the reviewers said it is better than the Eagles' Hell Freezes Over DVD. That's basically what made me decide to buy it.I find that the first 2 songs and the last half hour of the concert are pretty good. The hour in between though seems kind of slow. So I rate it 3/5. I think if you know Spanish that would help since it is all sung in Spanish. However I don't, so I can only comment on the music itself, not on the lyrics. Also note there are no subtitles. Subtitles would have helped me.

Summary: MAGNIFICENT!
Review: Definitely the best live music album I ever purchased. The medley numbers were meticulously rearranged. I personally think he sounds much better in his live performance compare to his studio recordings. The whole performance really exceeded my expectatio. Luis Miguel at his best! This DVD is a MUST HAVE!

Summary: Luis Miguel Tour 2002!
Review: Don't miss Luis Miguel on tour 2002. If you get to see him Live this is the next best thing. The clarity and sound is excellent on this DVD. It includes all of his classics along with some material from his latest at the time "Amarte es un Placer". Packed with great camera angles, visual lighting. Listening to this on a theatre surround sound equipped w/ DTS is highly recommended. I've seen this concert 50+ times.

Review: Fui a ver a Luis Miguel en una presentacion que hizo en Lowell, Massachusetts y me fascino tan bonito show, este DVD es casi identico a la presentacion que vi, tiene muy buen sonido y excelente calidad. Si este es uno de tus artista favorito te recomiendo que lo compre ya que tiene las mejores canciones de el, dura un poco mas de 1 hora y media, con un buen Home Theater te sentiras con estar en vivo en el concierto.
Lo unico que no me gusto es el no tener la option de verlos en diferentes angulo de camara (el poder cambiar de angulo con el control del dvd) y que como casi todos los dvd no llena la pantalla de la television.

Review: I love this DVD. I'm fortunate to have an incredible home theater system (162" front projection, 9-speaker Yamaha sound system) in my loft with 14' ceilings. When something is great on this system it's just totally amazing. (But this system can also be very unkind, it makes plain any deficiencies in the video or audio.) Luis Miguel "Vivo" (DTS) has zero deficiencies. None. It's an amazing concert video. If you are looking for a great concert on DVD, impressive lighting & visual effects, great 6.1 channel DTS audio, an energetic audience (having a great time), a dynamic performance with lots of excitement, then "Vivo" is for you. It builds exactly like a great concert should, lots of passion and increasing energy. The editing was outstanding, combining well-recorded video footage from many cameras. The editors know how to manage pace, just like any good DJ, and the concert successfully builds up energy throughout. This was a high production value concert with some very good laser-work, visual effects, and pyrotechnics. If you have a large-screen system (like home theater), along with a good audio setup, you will totally "fall into" this concert. It's nearly as good as being there live and up front. I've already watched this DVD three or four times completely and many more partial viewings. You definitely won't grow tired of this great performance and recording. In case it's not already quite clear, I think this is an amazing DVD! The DTS audio is very well done, with great use of soundstage and separation to reproduce the feel of a concert arena. This DVD makes a great example for the wonders of DTS. Enjoy!

Summary: An Okay Dvd, Luis Miguel is the Frank Sinatra of Mexico!
Review: I really like Luis Miguel and I have bought all of his Music Cds, I love to hear (Dvd movie) Concerts on my Home Theater system, I have spend thousands of dollars to trying to get the best sound, and sincerely this DVD falls short on my spectations and doesn't take advantage of it. You can barely hear different sounds coming from up to 6 different speakers but the sound it's not really DTS sound, it sounds more like dolby surround coming out from 6 (or 7) speakers. the quality of sound is in my ipinion very poor. I think Luis Miguel deserves better, tow tumbs down to the company that makes this Dvd. Luis Miguel's Music is Great, the sound is...... that's way I am giving this Dvd a low score.
