Review: This is the best movie of all time! It is my absolute favorite! A romantic/adventure film that is honest, heartfelt, sincere, and one of the last honorable films left in the world. Jim Craig (Tom Burlinson)is an admirably positive role model and a wonderful actor. I completely agree with the previous review written by the viewer from Nebraska. It is all that they said. This film has everything you could ever want in a movie and more. The things that most matter to me in a movie are, the cinematography and feeling the movie. And the cinematography was nothing short of breathtaking. It was striking, overwhelmingly beautiful, awesome, awe-inspiring, and impressive. It was the best cinematography I have ever witnessed in a film. And the feeling! It's not just a movie you watch, it's a movie you feel. It's the kind of movie that has you leaning forward in anticipation.

Review: This movie offers so much beautiful enjoyment of breathtaking scenery, a honest heartfelt story, wonderful acting and directing backed up by award winning music. And all of that without any cussing or gratuitous sex! It is one of my top 5 movies of all time. In fact, my daughter was named Jessica as a tribute.

Review: I went to this movie when it was first released because of the 5 star rating. I had not heard anything else then or much since. This movie is a true 5 star selection and contains the balance of story, casting, incredible acting, fabulous photography and music, and of course action. The outstanding thing about the action sequences is that they support the story instead of the opposite. The only movie I liked equally was Return to Snowy River. When I am asked "What is my favorite movie?" this is the one I immediate tell them.

Review: This is an older movie that has been regrettably forgotten. This video contains sincere, heart warming romance, chilvary, masculinity, femininity, respect, adventure, horse and rider stunts, great music and a great story line. The main characters in the movie develop a wonderful love for each other without sexuality or perversion making a single appearance. This is a great family movie portraying hard work, respect for high values, and young, yet sincere, love.

Summary: Great movie, with beautiful music and scenery!!
Review: I was only nine years old when this movie came out, and I have loved it ever since I first saw it in the theater. I am a horse lover and rider myself, and so I'm sure that's a big part of why this movie is one of my favorites, but I think even people who have never even been around horses can appreciate it. The acting is excellent, and the scenes with the horses galloping across the gorgeous Australian countryside, are wonderful. One of my favorite things about it is the music. The music is some of the most beautiful I've ever heard. The soundtrack is definitely one of the highlights of the film. And of course, I can't forget one of the most incredible scenes I've ever seen in any horse movie, which is where Tom Burlinson gallops his horse down an unbelievably steep mountainside. My family and I have always wondered if this was actually done by a stunt rider, or if it involved trick photography. Either way, it is a very impressive scene, and will leave you in complete awe. This will always be on my list of all-time favorite films, and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the Western-type genre, or anyone who loves horses.

Review: This movie was GREAT!!!! It is definitly a keeper! I really dont see what is so great about Jim riding down that hill? I mean I really LOVE this movie, but I could do that on my horse! No offence to other people, but...... well other that that it is a GREAT movie! I love Jim's horse Andy! He is SO kool! on my TV it looks like jim has GREEN HAIR!
I think that Tom and Singrid play good roals. I DEFINITLY reccomend this movie and it's sequil(Return to Snowy River). :).
