Review: I've seen a lot of anime, and this is by far the worst animation and story I've ever seen. If you want the same thing with good elements, watch Ninja Scroll. Don't waste your money on this.

Review: I really liked this anime! It's seinen AND it's historical (although it takes WAY MORE than a few liberties with the historic facts.). I liked the fighting a lot, but what captured me was the plot and the ending.

Summary: My favorite anime movie of all time
Review: Although this was one of the first anime movies I had seen, it has remained my favorite throughout these years. It has a good plot, though I've heard its still missing some parts that are included in the VHS version. My favorite character is Ayame, who is both beautiful and skilled. If you like ninjas, then this movie is for you. It was really touching, some scenes even brought tears to my eyes.
