Summary: Sweet and cute...
Review: A cute anime about a boy and his robot. Cute and funny series, but the first disc has some growing pains. Kurumi is endearing, but very pushy and this makes her grating at first. She gets better throughout the series, but when she first awakens she's very whiny. The series gets a little better when Saki comes along and creates a love triangle (with Kurumi in the middle rather than Nakahito). I'm not fond of mini-episodes, but the action is fun, the acting is great, and the animation is one of the best I've ever seen. It's very smooth and pleasant on the eyes. Not the greatest anime, but great fun. I also love the opening theme.

Summary: Short and sweet
Review: Extremely short episodes hilight what could be another Saber Marionette J: a boy awakens a robot girl and becomes her master. She's programmed to adore him. But, the series is original enough to break those bondaries. Saki, the next 'droid, is awakened by Kurumi because Kurumi don't want her honey kissing no one else. Oops! "Oops!" because they are programmed with loving devotion to their awakener and Kurumi just awakened her!

Nudity highlights the variances (breif anime nudity, but very sexy girls); fan service pops up a little in the first episode. The setting itself is 1919 Japan thereabouts, but none of this could have happened then (I have seen hints that there are other forces at work). I can throw out the technical flaws because it is my type of show: lively.

Overall, this is a series for people who like boy-girl interaction, who like android girls who squeal in joy over little things and then can kick major buttocks. Who are mechanical in body, not soul. The characters will have to be your main interest in watching it: it isn't an action flick, it isn't a skin flick, it's a flick about tempermental young ladies, budding romances, mistaken amour, and generally clean, wholesome fun with some mature zest to flavor. Slapstick with balloon heads and whining and sillyness permeate it on occasion.

If those things aren't your cup of tea, don't bother. But for someone who likes people flicks, a lively show, it's decent.

Summary: Pink ,Metal, Cutie...Kurumi..
Review: I have seen mostly all the episodes including the second series I would say this is no childrens anime unless it was edited (because of nude robots). Kurumi is well to be exact, the leader of all three main Steel Angels. These angels live from a powerful sorce called Angel Heart, Kurumi has dedicated her life into protecting a young boy who she calls master, This series is cute and if youre into "Magical Girl" types then just and this to youre collection. By the way I meant to give it 3 and a half stars.

Summary: Great DVD
Review: I have to admit I'm dissapointed with the english voices. But then again I dislike dubbed anime. I enjoy this anime because its drawing style is like "ToHeart". I enjoy Kurumi's trademark "Kyuinn!" its so cute. I would reccomend this series to anyone that likes "Saber Marionette". This series is unique in the fact that the creator made the word "Kyuinn!" for Kurumi to use. The anime is really refreshing to watch for the super deformed chibi characters. But it also gets into the serious manga like drawings too. Its funny in the fact Kurumi is pushy and won't leave Nakahito alone. Saki won't leave Kurumi alone. And Kamihito is the envious older brother. Ayanakouji hakasei is told to back of that he is a "Strange man" and Kurumi just flat out tells him to get lost she won't do what he says. She pushes anyone that gets close to Nakahito away and says "Dame! desu!" she gives the idea that Nakahito is hers and only hers. Its a really cute story about androids and the imperial army sending other "Koutetsu Tenshi" to kill Kurumi because of her "Angel Heart kai". "Koutetsu Tenshi Kurumi" is by far one of the best animes I've ever seen!

Summary: Very funny mini series!
Review: I pretty much only started watching this series for two reasons- It had Kelli Cousins (Princess Nine), Hillary Haag (Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040), Kira Vincent Davis (Princess Nine), Monica Rial (Excel Saga), and Tiffany Grant (Neon Genisis Evaglion) --sorry, horrible spelling tonight! -- . Also, I like that kind of Genre. Action, Why, Comedy, and Robot Half Human. So I watched this DVD, right? Of course. It's very funny, in a weird way. However, Kurumi's voice...ahem. Kelli plays Seira in Princess Nine, so if you've seen that, look at that series and you'll get the idea. She can't exactly play a cutesy voice, but it seems like she warms up to it and so will you...just let it buuuuurrrrrrrn into your ears ^_^. But you hafta give her credit, it's her first very lead role. Anyway, the episodes are approximately 15 minutes long, so it's all made up in the extras. There's not much to say for this. There's 6 episodes (90 minutes) and the animation is cute and pretty. Its nudity isn't horrible, but Saki is rather detailed, so if you have problems with that kind of thing, just cover your eyes for like, 10 seconds. Nothing offensive. This is one of my worst reviews, sorry.

Summary: Excellent anime, though could have been better.
Review: I thought this anime was cool because it has high-tech combat girls in it. Its kinda like a more suttle version of Ghost In The Shell minus the plilosophical meaning. I like how Kurumi and Saki can obliterate anything just as long as their owner tells them too. I love this show but I could have done without the J-pop theme track at the beginning of each episode and I didn't care for the moments of seeing Kurumi and Saki in those tiny simple-drawing forms with weird faces. Now if Kurumi and Saki toated AK-47s and wore military fatigues then Kurumi would be perfect. You should watch it if you like anime with cybergirls minus the girlpower.

Summary: A true treat for robotic girl lovers everywhere
Review: If you were a fan of Saber Marrionette J, you'd love this series! Kurumi is bubbly and energetic. This series, which I have seen the whole thing of thanks to buying a poor subbed copy, is truly worth your time. The DVD comes packed with tons of added features, which make it an excellent buy. The only problem I see with this is the people used in the dubbing have too deep voices. Kurumi loses her child-like tone, and that is kind of sad. The only other complaint I have with the dubbing is, like BUbblegum Crisis, they curse in English, but never in the Japanese. We may be an American audience, but there is no need to throw in cursing to make the story sound cool, it only makes it sound immature. Still if you are a Tenchi Muyo, Saber Marrionette J, or Love Hina fan you should DEFINITELY give this series a try! There is a lot of excitement on the horizon, and this DVD gets you started on a non-stop comedy, action, romance romp throughout Japan!

Summary: Excellent
Review: Steel Angel Kurumi ia the beginning up a series about robots with human emotion but so much power that makes them dangerous. The star,Kurumi,is the most dangerous of the Angels that were created because of the power that her "heart" has. It's funny & has a lil bit of action too,you gotta buy it!The epoisodes are short & the whole dvd may only be 90 minutes long but it's one that by the time your done watching over and over, you'll just want to once more watch it over! When I brought Steel Angel Kurumi I didn't think it would be as good as it was,in fact I only got it because Buffy & Record of Lodoss War(which is another great anime you would love even if it does cost an unreasonable amount of money)was too much. However if I like it then I can almost bet you will too!!!
