Summary: One of the most exciting DBZ movies since Cooler's revenge..
Review:

Everytime They come out with a DBZ movie it leaves you wonder-ing "what timeline is this in?" My guess is that Dragonball Z: Broly was set during the cell saga in an alternate universe. The movie is only 60 minutes long but in my opinion this has to be the longest 60 minute movie I've ever watched. But other than that is was great, the action was good the dialogue as well.

The beginning starts off with a humorous tune to it, but as the movie goes on it becomes more serious and action-packed with a story behind the character Broly and litte bit more on Goku slightly (naturally). If you're a fan of DBZ, then watch this movie: Its'a good one that shouldn't be overlooked!---- [a 5 out 5]

Summary: If you love DBZ, this is a must buy!!
Review: Allright, everyone has heard of Brolly; Super Saiyan Extraordinare. Well this movie gives us his origin and even more! We see Goku and Vegeta fight against an unbeatable foe. Brolly. Revenge is all he seeks, revenge against injustice served by Vegeta's father.

Brolly's immense power is awe inspiring. Towering over his opponents as if they were mere playthings. This is a must see DBZ movie. I have waited a long time to see this movie in all its unedited glory. Don't wait. Buy it now.

Summary: Not the best dbz movie
Review: Broly- The Legendary Super Saiyan is the first of the 3 movies featuring Broly. This is how much i know about Broly. Broly was born with a power level of 10,000. He trained with something similar to the hypobolic time chamber when he was very young. His power level in this feature in his normal form is around 645 million. He can go up to a super saiyan 4, but if he did it would create a power surge that would destroy the universe. This is a good movie, with great music and battle scenes. The way they finished off Broly was weak though. This movie could never have taken place because it features 2 other saiyans in it, and Goku and Vegita were the only survivors of the saiyan race after
Frieza destroy planet Vegita, still a decent movie though. A great buy for dbz fans.

Summary: First good movie
Review: Finally, a decent Dragonball Z movie. While the plot is generally monotonous with the rest of the movies (bad guy comes, beat up good guys, good guys find a way to get quick power and beat bad guy), we get to see another original Sayian and we get to see some pretty amazing powering up on Broly's part.

To address the power-level issue with Broly: His power level is probably inbetween Perfect Cell and chubby Buu (but closer to Buu). Goku could stand toe-to-toe with Perfect Cell, but could not even touch Broly.

The ending was not very climatic, downright unbelievable and inconsistent with DBZ power levels. I would rather see Vegeta and Goku immobilizing Broly by grabing his tail and then as the asteroid collides with planet "New Vegeta", Goku uses Instant Transmission to teleport everyone back to King Kai's planet and leaves Broly to be "destroyed" with the planet.

But it was a good story and Broly transfoming behind Pantera music was very good. Taking it for what it's worth, I give it 4 stars for a 60 minute movie.

Summary: Huh?
Review: First of all this movie pretty good but not worth buying. Why? The fight is pretty slow (most DBZ movies are) and the title gives the entire movie away and the plot is so predictable. However Brolly is an incredible fighter and you wouldn't beleive how strong he is. Sadly, though, the fights are too slow when you compare them to the TV series (which reigns above all other anime). I would recommend renting this but not buying it.

Summary: Don't be fooled by the hype...
Review: First, let me say that Broly has to be the most overhyped character by many DBZ fans. I noticed one reviewer stated that he could transform into a Super Saiyan 3 and beyond. Well, that is a straight up lie! Broly never even becomes a Super Saiyan 2! Being the true Legendary Super Saiyan, Broly's Super Saiyan form is unique from the other Saiyans. In his ultimate form, he is VERY bulky and has no pupils. I used to believe that he was using the Ultra Saiyan form, which is the form that Future Trunks uses when he fights Perfect Cell, but I no longer do because an Ultra Saiyan, though much stronger than a normal Super Saiyan, is much slower due to the huge muscle increase. However, Broly has no problems with keeping up with the other Saiyans, as you will see in this movie. Therefore, I believe he simply has his own "Legendary Super Saiyan form" that no other Saiyan can achieve. It's either that, or he has somehow overcome the flaw of the Ultra Saiyan form. Though he is definately one of the most powerful and deadly villains in the DBZ universe, his strength is often times greatly overestimated. Now, it is true that he is much more powerful than the other Saiyans in their first stage Super Saiyan forms, but it is questionable how he would fare against a Super Saiyan 2 (NOTE: Gohan never changes to a Super Saiyan 2 in this movie, and if he did would probably kick Broly's butt) and he is definately no where near as strong as Super Saiyan 3 Goku.

Now that I've cleared that up, about the movie itself. Plot wise, I think it's the best of the DBZ movies. It's the only one of the 13 that's over an hour long. However, the fight with Broly was so one sided that after awhile it gets a bit boring, and the way they actually defeat him is pretty anti-climatic. However, if you're a big DBZ fan, I'd say it's worth the buy, or at least a rental.

Summary: One of the best DBZ movies out there!
Review: First,I will like to start by saying that this film is one of the best I have ever seen that is based on the popular anime series dragon ball Z(DBZ for short). This movie features one of the best fights in the DBZ universe:SS Broly v.s.Everyone.Broly is by far the best of the DBZ movie villains. The dubbed version is great but I bought my copy because it featured the original japanese version relesed by Toei Animation in 1992.So if you ae a DB/Z/GT fan I recommed buying this movie.

Summary: A renewed faith in the Mini Movies
Review: For a while I had started to Lose faith in the Mini Movies. The second Cooler movie was extremly lack-luster and Super Android 13 was terrible. However after watching this I have renewed faith in however many mini-movies are left.

The plot here is that A mysteriouse Sayin arrives on earth asking Vegeta for help in destroying the Legendary Super Sayin. Vegeta, Future Trunks, Gohan (along with Krillian, Roshi, and Oolong tagging along), and later Goku adn Piccolo go off to NEw Vegeta to hunt down the legendary SUper Sayin. After a lack luster search Goku discovers that the Sayins son Broly is the Super Sayin. From there Broly releases his full power and starts to take out the heros. The action is very intense and there are shades of emotion coming from Vegeta that we have never seen before.

The only reason this gets four stars is that the ending really sucked. Instead of a finish to this incredible buildup we get a really quick and dissapointing finish. However beyond that this a breath of fresh air after a few lack luster mini movies.

Summary: Brolly The Legendary Super Sayian
Review: For all you new Dragon Ball Z fans out there wondering who brolly is well he is the legendary super sayian he was born with a power level of 1,000 while Goku only had a power level of 2! Brolly hates Goku because when Goku was a baby he used to cry a lot! and Very Loud!!! Brolly could turn to Super Sayian 3 or Super Sayian 4 but Brolly is so strong he only need's to stay as a Super Sayian 2. Brolly is one of the strongest sayians in the universe! Ok now i'm gonna tell you the whole story of this movie so if you need to know read this: While Frieza blew up planet Vegeta brolly used his strength to save his dad and himself and flew off in space. Brolly's dad put control chains on Brolly to keep him under control, Soon Brolly's father called Vegeta to come and Meet the Legendary Super Sayian, Vegeta gets to New Planet Vegeta and meets Brolly, Soon goku comes and Brolly gets really mad and tries to kill him but soon enough goku gathers enough strength and help from Piccolo, Super Sayian Vegeta, Super Sayian Gohan, Super Sayian Future Trunks to kill Brolly but that is not the end of Brolly he comes back this time Goku, Goten and Gohan use a Triple Kamehameha to kill him, then he come's back again! but this time as a clone, soon Gohan and Goten find out Brolly's weakness is water and kill him like that and that is it for brolly. P.S Sometime during the cell saga when Perfect Cell is in Space you can see Super Sayian 2 Brolly but he disappears very fast. Bye

Summary: Pay an arm and leg for DBZ movies (uncut)
Review: I can't believe how overpriced DBZ DVD's are. This movie is barely over an hour long, but they charge this ridiculous price (tag on an extra five bucks because it's uncut!!! wow.. you get like a minute more of footage and an unnecessary curseword here and there).

Ridiculously priced. Even Sailor Moon DVD's are nearly half the price and you get more for your money.

You'll go bankrupt from FUNimation gouging if you buy these DVD's.
