Summary: It's about time
Review: Finally! Sailor Moon the way it's SUPPOSED to be. Fans now don't have to sit through bad dubbing, fuzzy bootlegs, and don't have to hear those 3 horrible words: "Serena", "Darien", and "Rini".

For those of you who are first timers in this TV series, you'll find that this is a great investment. Not only are you getting the 2nd season uncut and uncensored, but you're getting a series that millions of fans around the world have grown to love. Any age can enjoy Sailor Moon and it offers comedy, drama, suspense, action, romance.... oh the list goes on.

And for those of you who have only seen the English version... I am so sorry. Please do yourself a favor and get yourself this DVD box set and watch the show in its Original format. THIS is the real Sailor Moon.

...And don't be intimidated by subtitles. They are actually 10 times better.

Summary: Worth its weight in gold
Review: Finally, ADV Films has taken the time to subtitle the second (And Best season in my opinion) season of Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon. Yes, I will add, it does NOT contain Episode 67, but that was a filler, with no plot, no action, and definitly NO mention of the Black Moon family at all. So please, stop this complaint! There's nothing wrong with the set without this episode. In my opinion, I think it's better without this episode. For people that haven't seen it, your NOT missing out on anything! It's a really lame episode about when Rei goes to an island to relaxe, and the rest of the Sailor Senshi join her. Chibi-Usa tastes Makoto's fish, and realizes, she doesn't like it. She finds a dinosaur, and they become friends. Pretty lame... Anyways, if you're spending your time complaining about it, that's just plain idiotic! On either September 16th, or 23rd, I'll buy this set, and post my review not long after i watch all 41 episodes. The audio quality should be slightly better, as well as the video. For the first season, like I said, you just need to adjust your T.V., and the Video Quality to "MultiMedia-Animation" Quality, of you have a Philips TV.

Finally I was able to write a review! I've been busy with schoolwork, and I just got out of a messy love-traingle. Let's start out with the good stuff. I LOVE the packaging! A huge inprovment from the Season One boxset. The two seperate cases have a BEAUTIFUL image of Neo-Queen Serenity! the other has well done action picture of Sailro Moon using Moon Princess Halation. I really like the whole SailormoonR season! Everything about it is very dramatic and dark! Not to mention the Audio and Video quality is again an inprovment! The audio is clear, as the video is wonderful. The colors are so rich. Now for the bad stuff. First off, I have to say the translations. Why on earth did they use certain dub terms like "Moon Scepter" and "Moon Princess Elimanation". The spelling like Koan instaed of Cooan is tollerable, yes, but it does get confusing when I'm like Huh? Whose Betirucher? It can be confusing at times. Also, there's small things like: "Ho-mon-neh" which is japanese for "Go to hell" or "Damn you" as it's commonly put is refered to "How dare you?" or "Why you!". Shimmata is commonly put as "Shoot" although it means something more like "Too late" or "Oh no!". Well, the extra's are nothing to brag about... because there is none except for ADV trailers.
Overall, his set is HIGHLY reccomended! The subtitling track could use some work, but other than that its wonderful!
MPAA: TV-14 on International Channel
My Rating: 14+
ADV Rating: 15+ for: Violent Imagery, Brief Nudity, and Strong thematic elements including mild sexuallity and language

(Update: The new Geneon Sailor Moon products say there is sexuallity in Sailor Moon. On the Sailor Moon S Movie, it says "Rated 13 for Mild Violence and Sexuality, Scary Moments" What about the nudity and language... huh?)

Summary: Be grateful
Review: Hi. I'm really 17 but I'm not a customer here my mom is so I had to put in my Two cents through this way. People are complaining that the season 2 box set is [not very good] because it's missing an ep. # 67 but I've reasearched the ep and it's just a filler. No battle with normal Bad guys, it's like the ocean ep in season 1. It has nothing to do with the storyline and isn't an important episode. So for those of you who are coplaining already, please [be quiet]. We're still getting all the other eps we love so much!

Summary: Sailor Moon Season 2! YAY!
Review: I absolutely love this series, I love it so much that I had to buy the first season! This is Sailor Moon R, It is the second, out of five seasons. Unfortunantly, seasons 3-5 did not run on the US, and they probably will not make them on DVD, but, What can we do? this is a great series, Created by Naoko Takeuchi, and like in the first season (if you bought the box set) comes uncut, and is in Japanese audio, and English subtitles. No English Audio, so if you don't like to read subtitles, unless you know how to tald Japanese, you probably don't want to buy this.
PS if you don't like Shojo style anime, you won't like this.

Summary: R is the best Season of Sailor Moon
Review: I am a big fan of sailor moon and have seen all the seasons including stars. Out of all of them i think the second which is called R=romance is the best. Its the one season that is different from all the others. Review: Season 1-need to collect rainbow crystals from people. Season 3(S)-need to find pure heart crystals from people. Season 4(SuperS)-need to find pegasus(helios)in peoples dreams. Season 5(StarS which you can only get on ebay)- need to collect the real star seeds from people. All the others besides season 2(R)are about the same. Season 2 is about trying to save neo queen serenity and crystal tokyo from the black moon family and they go to the future. People constantly complain about the screen and sound well the show should have your full attention if your a true fan and if its not loud enough turn up the volume. In my opinion Season 2(R) is definitely the best of them all. But dont pay $150 when you can get it on ebay or amazon for $50-$70.

Summary: classic sailor moon
Review: I am a big fan of the DIC dub sailor moon
the English sailor moon's voice is very funny,
and I seen the uncut sailor moon from mexico
as she was also very funny,

now that I seen the uncut japanese language edition
she is at her funnies, no wander sailor moon has fans
all over the world.

this box set is great to see sailor moon
as it was seen in the 80's anime in japan
as ADV out did them self putting together

seson 2 for fans to enjoy,
as each episode has that old school anime

feel of the 80's with great music art
and story, telling, with out the use of CGI.

this DVD set is remasterd well with brite colors,
and the sound was remasterd in japanes 2.0 dolby digital
so its digital mono so it sounds very good
you can hear the music well, better then the TV mono,

as for me I love old school 70's anime
like star blazers and gundam,

so I fell in love with the old school 80's
feel to sailor moon R

sailor moon is a classic anime of the 80's
the DIC dub was jazz up sound track to look new in the 90's
wich I enjoy as well, the new songs sound great
on DVD,

but if you like to see it as the classic 80's
on DVD.
you will realy enjoy this fantastic box set
thank you ADV for a grest job.

Summary: No Episode 67!!!!!
Review: I just found out from a friend that if you look carefully at the pic of this DVD episode 67 is skipped. I thought this was a typo but it's not. ADV wasn't able to get episode 67 for this set. I'm getting this set but I think they should stop calling it uncut because missing an entire episode seems cut to me. Otherwise, Sailor Moon rocks even though this DVD doesn't.

Summary: More Than I Imagined!
Review: I just recently bought and finally got to veiw this set for the first time and I feel I have definatley gotten my money's worth! Many say the sound is off and to some point it is, but I am very happy to have this set and am grateful that, being Sailor Moon is no longer in production here, ADV films still made these for us die hard Sailor Moon fans! I have waited so long to finally view these in their original format and have NO complaints! Not to mention, I have read that the subtitles are incorrect. May be true, but it takes only a little common sense to understand what's going on. No offense to those who feel subtitling has to be completely accurate. To those who have not seen this version, please take the time to view them! It gives you so many details that the dubbed version left out (mind you, I still love the English version as well)!!! The box set is beautiful and very well put together! I could not have asked for more! I give this set a definate two thumbs up! Great job, ADV!!!
