Summary: Sailor Moon as it was meant to be
Review: My only gripe with this boxed set is that is missing an entire episode.... episode 67.... now don't be alarmed it doesn't affect the plot it was only a filler episode.... still though it is supposed to be uncut..... I would definately recommend this set to anyone who loves sailor moon.... especially those of you who have only seen the dubbed versions... subtitles are the only way to go if you want to see, and hear, the original thing. everything (excluding the missing episode) is exactly how they saw it in Japan, plus it's a lot cheaper than buying them individually.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Yes, it's missing an episode...
Review: ...but the episode that's missing not only has no relevance to the main plot, but really isn't very good - in fact, in my opinion it's the single worst episode in the entire series.

It involves Chibi-Usa making friends with a prehistoric sea creature, and deciding she likes to eat fish. Need I say more?

I'm as disappointed as everyone else that this won't be a complete set. However, if you pass on this set because episode 67 is missing, you're doing yourself a great disservice. It's an excellent series that deserves a place on your shelf even with this one (bad) episode missing.

Summary: I can't wait!!!!!!!!
Review: Alright, the moment we've been waiting for since the first uncut season got on DVD, yay! The Second season! I cant wait! When I saw a box that said Amazon.com written on it, I went straight to my room, and watched the whole first season till my eyes were bleeding, and it paid off, it was awesome. I mean I cried laughed, etc... SO now I hope that this season will make me cry and laugh again because I really want this second season to be really good! I mean you get to watch Usagi and the rest grow up, and I hey, I wanna know exactly what happened in the uncut version cause ya know its gonna be dramatic and hilarious! So buy it, enjoy it, cause hey, we've been waiting a pretty long time for this! Now, I hope I can see the 5th season of Sailor Moon. HOPE!

Summary: Episode 67
Review: As taken from www.advfilms.com

"*Note: This release does not include episode 67-despite ADV Films' every effort, it proved impossible to secure the masters for this episode."

Everyone is saying that they have a filler for it and that 67 was boring anyways. As for people saying that the performance of the dvd is low quality, you have to remember that they are taking the original cartoon UNCUT. The sound of course is going to be off. I really enjoyed Season One UNCUT and the subtitles aren't distracting at all although I first thought that they might be. I recommend this to anyone who likes Sailor Moon and have seen the edited North American ones because this is the original in the true way that it was meant to be and wouldn't you want to enjoy it just as how everyone did in Japan when it first started? Yes it is costly but it really is worth it.

Summary: I'm just glad to have this...
Review: Because the latest I've heard from ADV, North America is soon to lose all it's Sailor Moon air and DVD rights, due to pricing conflicts with Toehi,so it looks like we won't be seeing S, SS or Sailor Stars as Boxed sets anytime soon, if ever. Hopefully, one day some other company will settle these issues.

Yes this could have been done better, but at least it is better than nothing at all.

My only beef with this set is the way the tags for each episode was run AFTER the credits, instead of before, as in the original version.

But I'm nitpicking.

So are others, when they complain about the "crappy" sound. Many people are not aware that only "Sailor Stars" was recorded in stereo. The previous seasons were recorded in good ol'mono.

I also was lucky enough to snag a later set that had Ep. 67 on it.

All and all, not bad for the $52 I paid for it here at auction.

Summary: ep 67?
Review: Can anyone confirm the previous post? Does the replacement disk contain the missing ep 67?

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: This is a great set.
Review: Despite the price tag, this is a wonderful set to own.

If you have only seen the english dubs before now, trust me this is vastly superior. It tells the whole story behind these wonderful characters.

The rating for this is 13+, this is a bit high in my opinion. I think you could show these to a younger child without problems, but it is best left to the parent's discrecion.

My only problem with the set I have is the audio quality in some disks. They sound as though someone was running a lawnmower in the recording studio at the time.

Other than that, it was a joy to watch.

Summary: .... And Here Is the Second Season!
Review: Enjoyed already the the uncut original first season? You don't have to wait for so long, here comes the second season (Sailor Moon R). Till the fifth and last season released sometime in future, we can now enjoy the four original seasons of Sailor Moon released by Pioneer and ADV.

Sailor Moon Season Two (Uncut) contains 42 full episodes and over 1000+ minutes. Like the uncut season one, it consists of 8 DVDs packed in 2 boxes sold together. There is also no dubbing, only Japanese voice with English subtitle...

(Follow the Leader) (This episode was really more of a highlight of the past two seasons and a preview for Sailor Moon S. It was actually very awsome because it showed a lot of clips that were cut from the orginal (if you watched the dubbed version).)

Sound:
It definatly could be better but if you can adjust your tv, you should be fine. But then if you have the 1st season box set, then it really isn't a big surprise and you get used to it. However I will admit: I expected it to be better. But then it was recorded in mono, and I believe only the last season, Stars, was recorded in sterio orginally.

Picture:
Still shakey and still rather annoying, even it it did do that in the first box set.

Box Art:
Beautiful, better than the 1st seasons.

Music:
That comes the with sound argument. If you can hear it clearly, the music it's often pretty and most of the song rocks.

Extras:
::laughs:: What extras? They REALLY should have had more than ADV promos...
Overall review:
This is a very great season and a must have for all fans of the series. Yes it has minor flaws and even a missing episode but trust me, its worth buying with them. Even though the second season isn't my favorite (as the orginal is will alwasy be my fav.) its still very much worth buying and great start. And for those of you who have seen the dubbed verisons (the cut english by dic) than I must INSIST that you buy it. You won't be sorry.

Worth the Money:

The biggest question of them all. Honestly, I would definatly say its worth the money, but I would advise you trying to find it less in Amazon market place if you (and probably) can.

Hope I helped.
