Summary: I have no doubt...
Review: I'd give this show a 7 out of 5. I have no doubt in my mind that this is the greatest TV show ever made!!!!...See it now. NOW!

Summary: Perfect
Review: I was concerned about purchasing the three disk set, but it turns out that it is just like the six disc set, only more compact! I believe these are Chinese imports (it defaults to Chinese language and subtitles). The DVD plays on all region DVD players (i.e. it should work for everyone). Excellent show, excellent music, a real treat!

Summary: You get what you pay for
Review: Yeah, the old addage rings true.

This "cheaper" set does contain all the episodes, but there are only 3 DVD's, thus containing up to 8 episodes per disc! (This refers only to the $... Perfect Sessions set.) Needless to say, the memory can't handle all the action scenes and smooth CG that Bebop is known for. What you get is a lot of fuzzy action. (The stills and slow moments are OK.)

In a word, don't waste your money on this set if you value good anime, and the awesome pictures DVD has to offer. This set is lacking!

Summary: Cowboy good, this deal bad
Review: Read the fine print! This is supposed to be a 7 disc set. But whoever is selling this is giving you a 3 disc piece of junk. Better to buy the individual dvds.

Summary: Watch them in order
Review: ...for what will undoubtedly be the most rewarding DVD experience of your life. Discs 1-5 are the versions from before the "feature presentation" was made. It follows the crew from the beginning to the end. Then you may wonder why you still have 2 discs left! Turns out they did not expect this to take off so popularly, so episode 5.4 is aptly named "The End." Discs 6-7 came later, but even though the story's different, it doesn't re-introduce the characters...you're already expected to know them. The whole series is definately 28 hours well spent.

Summary: Not Really a "boxed set"
Review: Everyone knows that Cowboy Bebop is good, and that if you don't own it already, you better get off your ... and buy the DVD's. That's a given. I just wanted to let people know that this "boxed set" is really just all 6 individual DVD's bundled together. Nothing new...no fancy box...no extras. If you missed the real boxed set or have just been holding out for the discs, you should pick this set up. ...you're getting a very good deal and it's worth the investment.

Summary: The Best of the Best
Review: When it comes to Anime, I've seen a lot in my time. All differn't
subjects, themes, you name it Anime has most likely made it. But when it comes to the Best, Cowboy Bebop is IT. The masters have come together to make Cowboy bebop Unrivaled by anything else Anime has made. Sure, I have seen other good Anime shows that I like, but you ALWAYS come back to the Bebop. The music totally rocks! Yoko Kanno has made music that fits this show like a glove! There is every type of human emotion in this show, unlike Anime which is famous for sex and violence, Cowboy Bebop is toned down. Violence is somewhat common in Cowboy bebop, But every show on TV has Some violence in it. But it more than makes it up in Humor. This show definitely has it's comic relief, which makes up for it's few bad points. But when it comes to the characters, you're surrounded by comedy. Enter Spike Speigel, The main character which is the greatest, (not to mention the coolest!) His partner, Jet Black is an ex cop, and Faye Valentine
is another bounty Hunter, because of hanging around with Spike and Jet too much. Faye is the epitome of attitude, which is one of the 3 things that Spike hates the most! Then you have Radical Edward, a teenage hacker which actually is female! The 4 main characters plus a huge slew of subcharacters (including the 3 old geezers, you Bebop fans know who i'm talkin about!) Makes Cowboy bebop the Best of the Best! Even though I don't have this box set, I intend to get it soon!

Summary: It's a dream... (don't worry, no spoilers)
Review: In a word, Cowboy Bebop is COOL. If you're an anime fan and haven't seen Cowboy Bebop ..., BUY IT. This is as close to perfect as I've ever seen anime get. There's more heady, artsy stuff out there (Serial Experiments Lain) and you don't get rampaging mecha (the mark of good anime for some), but what you do get is flawless. And you get a lot. Bebop has been described as noir-meets-spaghetti western-meets-70's action show-meets... well, you get the idea. It's equal parts comedy-tragedy-action. It's wonderfully eclectic and draws heavily from / gives homage to pop culture. Some say that Bebop has a lot of "filler" episodes that don't advance the main plotline. That might be true at times, but every episode advances character development (in addition to exuding a unique charm of its own), creating warm and deep characters (notably Spike, Faye, and Jet). The main characters are wonderfully fleshed-out with interesting inner conflicts. And everything in Bebop drips and oozes with style, from the episode plots to the greater plot/theme to the CG backdrops to the character designs to the charming episode previews to the broad and too-amazing-for-words Yoko Kanno soundtrack (you might find yourself buying this, her best work, soon after the DVD's) featuring jazz/blues/pop/rock... Every aspect of Bebop is so obviously someone's labor of love. If you haven't already done so, treat yourself. And keep an eye out for the Bebop movie, scheduled for "wide" American release in early 2003.

Summary: Don't wait buy it NOW!!
Review: Theres anime, and then there Cowboy Bebop. This is like nothing else you've ever seen before! If your looking for something competely different from all else Bebop is for you.
Inside every action packed episode you get,
-Stunningingly beutiful and realistic animation
_The most original, story enhancing, mood setting music found on any animated series anywhere
_Deep provocative story telling featuring characters that trully feal "real"
_At least one gunfight and or starship battle!
Not only all that but this is the best deal around, purchased seperatly you'll spend much more, and once you see the first episodes you wont WANT the rest you'll NEED the rest. Don't make the same mistake I did (I bought them all seperatly in the store) and grab this opportunity while it lasts!

Summary: Greatest Anime
Review: This show was amazing from start to finish. Nothing can seem to reach the greatness of this show. This show is delightful. No, this show is brillant. No, there are no words to describe it so I shall make one up right now; scrumtrilescent. Cowboy Bebop is simply scrumtrilescent.
