Summary: Effertlessly Hip
Review: This is what the Italian job wanted to be. Effortlessly cool, on the spot entertaining. It is a work that would stand alone even without the series. With artful transitions and showdowns that are both operatic and spagetti western influenced the movie never loses its sence of smokey coolness. The plot is not only funny and exciting but beuatifully drawn out. The animation is in a class by itself. A winner all the way.

Review: If you've seen the series then I can guarantee that you will absolutely love the movie.

Summary: Knockin' on Heaven's Door
Review: If you're a fan of the TV series, you will, of course, want to see this movie. It's got more of stuff that makes the series so awesome -- dog fights, dry humor, karate, sexy Faye Faye and wacky Edward.
If you are new to the series, you should probably rent the first DVD or "The Best Sessions." In the series and the movie, the art and animation are beautiful, the characters are well developed and the story even has mystery throughout, not just at the end like we see in many live-action Hollywood efforts ("Solaris").
I would recommend watching the movie with the Japanese audio track and English subtitles. The English voice actors decided to sensor and interpret the dialogue instead of performing an honest translation. It's like watching a different movie. I was especially disappointed in the English voice actor's take on Edward. It was not true to the character in the TV series or the manga.

Summary: Funny Smell!!
Review: This is a great movie! This movie is really great even if you dont like the show (like me.)the basic plot is a evil bio terriost is planning to [destroy] the population of Mars with a disaese on Halloween. Then, the crew of the Bebop gets involved because of the 3,ooo,ooo Wolong(dollar) bounty for the terrrorist. Even though it is R rated it is not that bad there is a small amount of blood and cursing there is a few violent scenes and a small bit of mild nudity. This movie is also quite funny.its worth the cash.

Summary: A Great, yet slow movie
Review: All in all I think this movie was good. The plot was interesting, the dubbing was good. The animation was outstanding. My only problem was, it was slow at some parts, and some times left me tapping my foot waiting for the story to hurry along.

Summary: Beebop Fans must see !
Review: From begging to end ; Faye, Spike, Edward, and Jet pull off another amazing bounty in this rollercoaster of a movie.
If you love Beebop , You're going to come in your pants when you see this! I didn't know it was going to packed with anticipation, but it is! I didn't keep my eyes off the screen , I probably didn't even blink throughout the whole shabang.
Anyway, I say watch it and you'll thank me later!

Summary: A must-have for fans of noir anime; worth a look for others
Review: The world of Cowboy Beebop is characterized by dark and gritty stories with the occasional comedic beat, and this movie is no exception. Expect the usual dose of noir and jazz with the guns n' knuckles action that are the series' hallmark. For those who like jazz and noir (and judging by the solid Cowboy Beebop fan base, there are plenty for whom this is a key selling point), this movie easily climbs into 5 star territory.
At the risk of ticking off the Cowboy Beebob fan base, I frankly didn't like the music, and noir films are the cure for insomnia when it comes to dialogue sequences. The story is of fairly average quality, but it's the aforementioned action that pulls this movie into solid 3 star territory despite my own personal dislike of its other elements.

Summary: Good but not great
Review: OK,I'm sorry fellow Cowboy Bebop fans but the movie wasn't as great as I thought it would be. At first I was extremely impressed with the opening scene of Spike and Jett going after the robbers in the convenient store. It had all the elements that made me love the series so much;fast-paced action outlined with adult humor.(Coffee machine and bathroom/old lady scenes).

Faye and Ed were also great as usual, and the artwork and design were amazing. However,I just felt that the storyline was too unbelievable and loosely tagged together. In fact near the last 45 minutes,I was just wanting the movie to get over with.Alot of stuff could have been cut from this movie,as it just seemed to be pointless filler. For instance when Spike just has the amazing ability to evade all these missles shot by the army(for well over 10 minutes actual time.)The soundtrack was also incorporated in the movie very poorly. How many times do we have to watch people walking around while a song plays?

The plot started out cool(explosion/virus?)but ended up just being silly with the whole "nanomachines" deal.I thought that there were much better plots in the sessions of "Brain Scratch" and "Mad Perriot".Vincent's character while dark, really made no sense.I mean, was there any really motive behind his actions? He wants to destroy the world so that he can still survive while everyone else is dead?I did like the part where he cut open Faye's top though!^__^But sorry, you won't see anything!

While Cowboy Bebop the Movie offers some outstanding visuals and a few thrilling moments, the soupy plot and hokey ending leave this one coming up a little short.

Summary: Perfection
Review: This is definately one of the best movies, anime or live action, I've ever seen. Every scene has amazing animation (the best I've ever seen, they draw a whole lot of movement that I would never even think of attempting - and do it extremely well), excellent voice acting, etc. There is very little to complain about. My only gripes are that it seems more like a very long episode of Cowboy Bebop than an actual movie, but I can't see how else they could of done it. Some of the scenes didn't really make sense either, for example when Spike just starts looking for beans spontaneously. And that indian dude's smoke stack was way too high! But those are all very minor and most movies out there have many many more flaws than that.

Summary: bebop: the movie
Review: the year is 2071 and takes place on the redplanet mars.
the crew of the bebop are broke and
desperate like always. the movie starts off
with spike and the bebops owner jet collecting a bounty
on some small time crooks. then the movie actually starts.
after the intro faye valentine is on her way back from
the horse races when she is assigned the task of rounding
up some hacker named lee samson. she finds his truck he is
driving only to discover that he isnt driving the truck!
the driver exits and then the truck explodes, thus releasing a
deadly virus and a 300,000,000 woolong reward for the ones
responsible. all in all this is a great movie and anyone
who is a fan of the tv serious will appreciate this flick.
