Summary: A Great Movie, better than any other summer movie
Review: Unlike movies like Hulk, X2, Matrix Reloaded, or T3, Cowboy Bebop is a fun movie to watch with a good plot and very complex characters. It is far better than the dribble that is released in America. Although some may not see it as good as the original series, it still stands very well one its own. It was definantly better than I thought it would be, being a fan of the original series. I am only dissapointed that the movie wasn't released nationwide in all theaters so that other people could experience a good movie with great music and the best action scenes that you've seen since the original Matrix. Buy this now. And remember to say your prayers. Bang.

Summary: bebop at its best and dont u forget it.
Review: cowboy bebop is and will be one of the best animes out there. And the movie will not dissapoint. Now there are some people who complain about stupid things that arent wrong to begin with.First the music was great yoko kanno has still got it and the seatbelts always provide a great tune.Secondly i read in one of the reviews the the subtitles were wrong and im thinking what are u brain dead, hello the subtitles show the original script and they changed some of the words in the dubbning so they could get good lip sync. The story is like if u were waching an epipisode they didnt make anything extremly crazy so they could stick with the good old bebop formula. And someone had the nerve to say the fight scenes were short wrong they are far from short in the series they couldnt have long fight scenes because of time restrictions but since its a movie they can let it all out with the action. the extras are great the best parts are the 6 behind the scenes featurettes.so no matter what people say im sticking with my rating 5 out of 5.

p.s. see you space cowboy...

Summary: An absolutely perfect addition to the series.
Review: Truth be told, I was kinda bummed out with the last episode of Cowboy Bebop (the last scene of Blake 7, a Sci-Fi BBC series I remember watching as a kid, kept replaying through my head :( ). I had bought the Amazon "box" set sight unseen, never having actually seen any episodes, but it is certainly fun and definitely worth the money (lol, even my 47 year old mother is digging it), but I did feel a bit bleah, wanting more in-depth development... However, when I saw this pending release a few weeks ago, I said - why not? Just finished watching it, and boy - what a fun film! If fits in seamlessly with the entire series' tone, texture, emotion, and eventho its ALOT cleaner graphically speaking, it flows without a hitch in design and settings (although, truth be told, as much as I loved the opening movie's music montage of city life on Mars, it seemed a bit more mundane as depicted in the series - but that could just be me) Even if you haven't watched any of Cowboy Bebop, definitely check out this one... its how my mom got hooked. She walked in while it was playing, saw about 10 seconds of it, and then borrowed my entire set... and she has zero experience with animation of any type outside of American Disney gush. LOL Oh, and one last bit of advice - if you end up watching the whole thing for the first time, series and movie together, watch the movie after Session 5 and then watch Session 6. The movie will add a new level to seeing Session 6... wish I had done so, so I wouldn't have felt so bummed out... ;p

Boy, hope they keep coming with more... :)

Summary: Nice Animation, and a Fun little film
Review: "Cowbot Bebop: The Movie" is most of the time a dark, intriguing, and fun movie. The film's about some Bounty Hunters trying to track down two men who blew up a truck, which released an odd substance into the air, killing very many people. But what they expect to be an easy grab turns out to be a deadly encounter.

What's so good about this film is the animation, and the dark tone it uses for the first 3/4 of the film. The movie is mysterious, and we as an audience want to know more about what is going on.

However, the last 4th, for the most part, seems to turn into a little action adventure, with fun music and such. This feels like it came out of a different movie.

The movie does have subtitles, and is rather violent, so therefore this is not saturday morning cartoon stuff. This is a gritty, fun, and dark tale of a couple of Bounty Hunters.

Summary: Wonderful!
Review: I got the movie two days ago because I am a big fan of Cowboy Bebop (actually I'm more of an obsessive). It dosen't have much to do with the episodes and doesn't affect the episode's storyline at all, which is a good thing to me. Even non Bebop fans like it. I took a friend with me to the theature and she had never heard of Cowboy Bebop. Well, she saw the movie and now she's been watching the episodes with me. I do think that the animation and music isn't as good as it was in the episodes but it is still a treasure to me, maybe you will think the same.

Review: apparently this movie came out in japan in 2001...and came to theaters in the states in 2003...and the dvd also came out like 2 weeks after it was released in theaters. at any rate, totally stylish, cool music, totally sweet action scenes(and as previously said, yes, far better than anything i've seen this year *ahem matrix ahem*). and COOL GUNS. spike is sweet. the babes are hot. the railway scene makes it all worthwhile.

Summary: Disappointing Film, Excellent DVD
Review: The Cowboy Bebop film is an OK movie, but it's overly long and feels stretched out. The film could have been condensed by about a half an hour without really losing anything. Worse, the film shifts Ed and Jet into the background, despite the added running time of the film vs. an episode of the series that should ahve allowed all chracters to get ample screen time.

Personally, I was alos deeply disappointed that the creators chose to tell a planet-bound story when provided with the broader canvas of film instead of space epic (or at least a hybrid story). I cannot emphasize enough how maddening the slow pace of the film is; there's a leisurely pace and then there's the glacial pace of this film. while the feature is medicore at best, the extras on the disc are excellent, and the picture and sound are sharper and clearer than any of the TV discs.

Film: 2/5
Disc: 4/5

Summary: THE BEBOP TROOP IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!! I received the dvd with the movie yesterday and watched it 2 times in a row. It was ABSOLUTELY AWSOME. I am a great fan of the series Cowboy Bebop and therefore couldn't wait for this movie to be released here in the US. I had seen some screen shots in some web pages devoted to the anime and the truth is that the entire movie is one big rollercoaster fully packed with action bebop-style. There is a little bit of everthing, just like in the series: fight sequences, music, romance, comedy, tradegy and what for me is a great plus a greater insight of each one of the main characters. Not only are Spike, Faye, Jet, Ed and Ein included, but we are also reunited with most of the regulars that appeared in the series. The state-of-the-art animation is out of this world and on top of all that, the dvd is packed with really nice extras, like interviews with both the Japanese and American casts and picture galleries. Another plus is that the special edition comes with both the original version in Japanese and the dubbed in English, which has been produced with the very same cast of the tv series. So, if you are like me a complete follower of the series Cowboy Bebop and hard-core Japanese animation fan, or if you are into exploring a little bit more of the anime world, this is the perfect movie, YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED!!!!!!!!!! And even if you are not into anime and think that all there is to it are cats and mouses, I bet this movie will make you change your view on anime and see that NOT ALL ANIME ARE CREATED EQUAL. . .

Summary: Spike was never better!
Review: If you thought the series was fantastic, wait until you see the movie. This is all of the Bebop crew at thier best and beyond. In fact, you don't even need to see the series to enjoy the movie, that's whats so great about Cowboy Bebop. The animation is on point, and if you like action sequences, it has some of the best. The movie is definately worth buying. If you don't buy any of the episodes, definately buy the movie. You won't be disappointed.

Summary: Wow!
Review: What else could i say about this movie other than Wow. I've watched the whole series of cowboy bebop and this movie definitely lives up to the seires it self. This movie uses the same voices from the series and has amazing kung-fu fighting scenes. From the begining of this movie to the end, I was hooked to the tv. As a fellow artist, I was amazed to the detail of the characters and their enviroments. This is a freakin good movie and i would suggest to those who are reading this review to hurry up and get this movie.
