Summary: Another great film
Review: Ok all I ahve to say is that anyone who loved Alice in Wonderland will probably love this film also. It is that "Type" of film. I would say it's more of an "industrial" Alice in wonderland. Beautiful animation, great storyline and memorable characters are what stands out in this movie. Some scenes might be a little intense for children but it's up to the parent's discretion. All in all it's a memorable journey that you won't soon forget and hopefully you'll enjoy this film as much as I did.

Summary: Miyazaki Magic!
Review: This is another one of Hayao Miyazaki's wonderful feature films. They manage to appeal to all ages and interests. This feature can be paralleled to Alice in Wonderland - Chihiro enters a strange world and learns about herself and friendship through the young boy Haku. He takes care of her, and later on in the movie the roles are reversed where she needs to take care of him. The film is about the mental and emotional maturity of Chihiro, and about the dangers of temptation that her parents give in to, unfortunately.

Summary: Spirited Away
Review: I saw this new Hayao Miyazaki film in Tokyo December 2001. It comes out on DVD in Japan (area 2) July 2002. US will have to wait until 20 September 2002 for our (Area 1) DVD release.
For fans of Hayao Miyazaki "the Walt Disney of Japan", They will love the film, and I am sure the transfer from film to DVD will be of the highest quality as Princess
Mononoke, Grave of The Fireflies, and Lupin 3: Castle of Calistro were mastered.

Summary: miyasaki's done it again
Review: fall into a world of gods and adventure that is totally beyond your imagination. "sen to chihiro no kamikakushi", or "spirited away", isn't an ordinary kid movie that breaks into song every few minutes or tries too much to make you laugh by doing stupid things. it has a very simple yet profound plot with fantasy and magic flavored into it. a simply breath-taking movie with an amazing flow that doesn't waste any minute (not even one second), with beautiful music that leaves you speechless, and with such original characters that you can't help loving, this is definitely one of a kind that will enchant audiences of both genders, all ages, and any race.

i don't think i have seen such good animated movies like this in such a long time. i absolutely loved this movie. and you know what? my guyfriends loved it even more than i did!

a movie you wouldn't want to miss and would never regret. thanx to miyasaki who keeps our dreams and imaginations alive.

yup, miyasaki's done it again.

Summary: One word--Awesome!!!!!!
Review: What can I say? There are no words to describe this fantastic movie. It will appeal to every person of all ages. Now, this not a typical kid movie with silly humor because the director tries to present it as seriously as he can with a little of comic relief--which is really cute (rat and mosquito). The plot line is simple, and there is practically no physical action which proves that an anime can be excellent without having any deal of battle scences. This movie is a piece of art which allow you to sympathize with the little Chihiro. Go see it cause you won't be sorry.

Summary: This is a fabulous movie
Review: A girl finds herself in the parallel land of the gods and needs to rescue her parents.

The visual are amazing, and the music matches the visuals better than in most movies I've seen. There's cute characters, and scary characters. Characters have good expression and you definitely feel for the little girl. I don't usually froth, but this is an incredible movie on many levels. It steals from different types of myths - Russian, northern European, Japanese - and the Japanese onsen (resort/spa/hot baths) is faithful to the real thing.

Some parts might be scary for little kids, but the 9 year old we took loved it (even given that it was subtitled).

Summary: I want to blink but i can't! =(
Review: Spirited Away (yes, it has a english title) is definetly one of most creative anime movie i've ever seen. Set in a fantasy world within the real world, a girl struggles her way through a dazzling realm in search of her parents and a way out. This Studio Ghibli movie is Hayao Miyazaki's latest and finest work, no wonder it made #1 in Japan box office history.
