Having spent every last yen on his first issue, Kazuki has to take a part-time job--in a role-playing café. Incongruously clad in a military uniform and a long blond wig, he waits tables as Angel Limone from Wedding Peach. When his long-suffering girlfriend Mizuki persuades Kazuki to take some time off from exams and drawing, he drags her to a gargantuan manga shop, which she dismisses as a "den of otoku." Amazed by what he sees, Kazuki decides to incorporate every popular trend into his second issue: robots, maids, angels, uniforms, hamsters, aprons, and tentacles. In the short "extra" episode, Kazuki and his friends discover an ancient ruin filled with manga carved on stone tablets. (Rated 13 and older: minor risqué humor, brief nudity) --Charles Solomon
