Summary: OH MY GOD!!!
Review: OMG again! That movie was sooooooooooooooo good! I am a completely new, fresh-out-the-package, Esca fan...and the movie totally sealed it for me. I seem to like the magic girl seriess...first the UNCUT CardCaptor Sakura..and now this. I think I may even like Escaflowne better. (everyone who knows me stares at me in totaly and complete shock and faints). Heh heh. I also like Gundam Wing (esp. Duo! ^^). Escaflowne combines the magic and the mecha and adds that midevil setting I so adore. If you like any of these things...plus strange cat creatures, fire, crazy ppl (Daidalu (or however you spell his name...), 15 yr. old girls and boys who will ~obviously~ eventually have to fall in love *dreamy sigh*, then this is the anime for you!
BUY IT!!

Summary: DBZ What...oh ..who Cares make way for Escaflowne!
Review: I hope Toonami is reading this right now.Escaflowne is the best anime series ever. I've never sat through a show like this without falling asleep. This show makes its mark for fantasy, romance, and action. I'm hooked after the first four episodes and I'm sure anyone else will be enchanted in the same manner!Note I own the DVD version.

Summary: Warning!!!
Review: This series is great - it's not my favourite, but it's easily among the best.
But beware!!!
If you want to buy the DVDs, take a look at the available languages. If there's no English track and aou're not fluent in Japanese: Stay away!!! Normally I don't mind Japanese with English subtitles, but here the Subbing is horrible.
Sometimes a sentence is displayed for a whole second before it disappears, sometimes a sentence is displayed when the character has already stopped speaking or when he has not yet begun and somtimes some words are missing altogether. At times I had to watch the movie as freeze frame just to get the basics of the story.
If you get a Version with English dubbing, this Anime is a BUY!

Summary: Wonderful, art, action, romance, and drama!
Review: This is what got me into Jap. Anime.
The story line is easy to follow. You have the Angel like good guys, and a troubled youth/hero who struggles with his brother who just happens to be the Villian,
feelings run wild in the t.v series. You don't know
if Van is in love with Hitomi the girl from the other realm, who runs track, or if Allen is in love with the girl.
Now Allens the swordsman, handsome, thrilling, Knight,
who pretty much plays the girls.
It's a romantic teen story, something younger children
early in their teens would like. Even though it gets
really mushy, and it feels so chessy, you can't help
but enjoy then intense battle scence which happen
between Escaflowne, and other Battle like Robots.
It's such a interwoven story that it's hard to add it all into a review.
But the Escaflowne is Van who is Draconian, and a Prince, who;'s brother is the guy pretty much trying to kill him.
Hero, Herione, Villan, the most Lovabale, the most
hatable, it's all in here. If you like Anime this is a must see, it's my favorite!
IT aired on YTV, and FOX, untill FOX removed it from the programing and YTV now plays it, thank GODDESS!

Summary: Best of the best ~_^
Review: Ok, so I've watched tons of anime shows before, but this one's still my favorite!!! The bad guys are awesome (like dilandau and folken) and i guess hitomi is ok (what's with her hair) ^_^ but the story is very original and creative and even though the series didn't quite end the way i wanted it to, (i won't tell you what happens, don't worry) there's a movie coming out soon called A Girl in Gaea! I don't really have anything else to say so- WATCH ESCAFLOWNE! ^_^

Summary: This DVD is awesome.
Review: On this DVD, you get a lot of extra stuff. There are three music videos, which are really enjoyable.
The grapics in this show are awesome and it's a funny show. I would recommend this DVD to fans of Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing.

Summary: The Beginning to a Great Series
Review: If you've watched the show when it was on Fox on Saturday morning and liked it, do yourself a favor and pick up this DVD. It's uncut, and what they cut out didn't make any sense. The first episode aired on Fox was an amalgamation of the first two episodes on the DVD.

This is Escaflowne in it's more pure form. The English dub is one of the better ones done today. A very well done disc and a very weel done job on the porduction of this anime.

Summary: This won't be getting dusty for years of no use.
Review: Escaflowne. What is Escaflowne? Well it's a great anime series, truly a masterpiece. This epic anime is a fantasy that will amaze anyone with it's great animation and wonderful storyline. Escaflowne is about a magical girl who is transported to a world called Gaea. By looking into the skies of Gaea, you can see a familar blue planet and it's one white moon. Dragons and wolfman roam around Gaea, and people fight in mecha like robots called Guymelefs. Escaflowne is a great fantasy anime, it really is. I'm not a big fan of fantasy, but Escaflowne caught my eye. If you like action, romance, adventure, a great storyline, catgirls, animation that won't hurt your eyes, and an awesome looking mecha that turns into a dragon, you'll love this. Warning: Make sure you have enough money to buy the first few volumes. Ounce you start watching Escaflowne, you'll be glued to that wonderful TV or computer screen of yours!

Summary: Think of it as Gundams with swords.
Review: Escaflowne is a great anime, thats what id have to say. But to be more specific, it is a must see for any mech fan. More or less, one could say its like gundam, only they use swords rather than guns (with some excepions). It follows a girl named Hitomi, from our world who is transported to a land where you can see the Earth in the sky. Also a main character, Van, the now king of the fallen kingdom of Fanalia (to know more you'll have to see the 2nd episode), who is the controller of escaflowne itself. Its pretty confusing at first but it more than makes up for it later on. They introduce more characters through out the first DVD (the villan, the not-so-trustwothy ally etc.). Well worth the money in the end.

Summary: Escaflowne's one of the best animes ever!
Review: Escaflowne has everything you could ever want in an anime, including adventure, romance, excitement, action, suspsense, and excellent characters and plot. Fox Kids made a horrible decision by dropping Escaflowne, even though their version cut out so many things the storyline almost didn't make sense. The edited versions are a waste of money, only buy the true uncut versions. The first volumn is a definate clencher. It only leaves you begging for more!
