Summary: If this guy played fair, he wouldn't survive the series
Review: Absolutely hilarious!!! Gokudo only has two wishes, "I want all the money and all the hot babes of the world all to myself!" He gets turned into a woman, an old man, a woman again, a baby, and back again. This greedy, backstabbing, pervert beats the bad guys for one reason, HE'S WORSE. The fact that he is an unbeatable swordsman helps. One of the many running gags in the series is that Gokudo breaks the foulest wind in human existance. It not only clears taverns, but counters magic spells and rouses tempermental goddesses. His dealings with the oni Ikyuo are equally hilarious. I originally bought this series on VHS and this is the excuse I have been looking for to get it on DVD!

Summary: Gokudo - Interestingly strange and enjoyable
Review: By the Way I am older than 13. But I could only review if I said I was younger.
Before I bought it my friend said it wasnt very good. Well I can asure you I barely ever listen to her so I bought it anyway...and pretty much for only 2 reasons.
1. Gokudo(the main character) smiles evily...I am a HUGE fan of evil grins and that REALLY REALLY appealed to me.
2. Prince Niari is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!!!! He is sooooo entirely your tall dark and evil type of guy...which appeals to me. (get the idea that I like evil? Well your right, I do)

Now the story line is quite original. I mean I've never seen anything like it. It's very unaxpected and different than other ones. I really like how it's going (I have the 1st movie and the 2nd DVD.)
Well my annoying family is yowling at me because they are unfeeling little paranahs. So I have to say Ciao!
Niari forever!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Gokudo ¿ Comedy Series Extraordinaire!
Review: Enter Gokudo Yucott Kikansky: adventurer, treasure-hunter, womanizer - overall the most selfish, stubborn, greedy character I've ever known (and still he ranks high among my favorites). The story opens as a stubby little fortune-teller informs Gokudo that the king of Eshalatto is trying to kill him. Gokudo listens to the fortune-teller just long enough to get a free dinner out of her and pick her pocket before making a cheap excuse and a mad dash (I wish I could run that fast) back to the inn where he is staying. The true fun begins when Gokudo finds that what he has stolen from the fortune-teller doesn't have the sort of value he was hoping for... Soon all sorts of strange things are happening and Gokudo finds himself with the fate of the world on his shoulders, which he naturally tries to shrug off at every opportunity he gets. The cast of characters grows steadily throughout the series' 26-episode length, every character bringing their very own distinctive personality - complete with their very own distinctive and hilarious personality flaws!
I highly recommend this series to everyone, only to say that I would voluntarily rate it somewhere between PG and PG-13. I bought this series in the box set the very first chance I got after seeing the first two of six discs. In fact, I just finished watching it today, and I really hope that there is more "Gokudo" in the works. Happy watching!

Summary: I couldn't stop watching it^o^
Review: Gokudo can be describes in 3 words; Male Lina Inverse. This series is SOOOO funny!^o^ He travels with this girl he has zero interest in who not only acts a bit like him, but looks like his freaking identical twin! Oddly enough, in the very last episode in the last 5 min, she decides she 'likes' him, go figure. Anyway, Gokudo is this funny self-centered prince-half who gets turned into women & chibis & he never gets what he wants & this hideosly scary woman follows him everywhere. & if you thought Slayers was funny, this is possible even more ammusing!

Summary: Gokudo Action Comedy
Review: Gokudo is a laugh out loud kind of fun! He's totally unlike any "hero" you have ever met. He's rude, lecherous, devious, and doesn't trust anyone completely. He's looking for the angle he doesn't beleive in the goody goody stuff. He's selfish, greedy and many things. He does have a spark of good deep down inside, he does have some decentcy, not much. He fits more the bad guy kind of profile, than any hero form. This movie does have some very childish humor in it, like he picks his nose!! gross, and he has stink bomb farts, yuck!. Look beyond that and it's a cool movie, and hopefully there will be more, it does leave you hanging though, so that's no fun.

Summary: Not that good.
Review: I had alot of trouble getting into this show. The animation isn't that great and it tries too hard to be funny. Very little of the show seems natural and there is not really anything new in it. The jokes are tired the voice acting poor. It is a good idea that they just didn't do properly.

Summary: Yes its good, but not that good...
Review: I have watched many animes and GOKUDO is just something I would say rather plainly so far, is nothing exceptional. At certain times, it can be dry but it can be funny too. But for 26 episodes altogether, the story doesn't have a story and becomes a mix mash of silly tales of Gods & Demons.

It can be fun to watch when there is nothing to watch at all... but its more of rent than to own.

Review: If you're anything like me, you bought the first dvd, thought it started really sloppy, but laughed your [...] off anyways and wanted to see more but didn't know if it would be worth it. It is. This dvd picks up and continues the momentum begun in the first. The new characters are great and now I'm officially hooked. I can't wait to see part three of this twisted fantasy anime creation. Djinn is arguably the star of this disk and his lectures (and Gokudo's reaction to them) are hilarious. He even becomes a girl again (voiced by the brilliant Jessica Calvello) and changes their horse into a man who continues to act much like a horse. There's plenty more Ikyu action, a giant turtle princess in need of some good lovin', a drunken outdoor banquet of insanity that must be seen to be believed (I don't want to ruin it), Gokudo is turned into a grumpy old man and back again, and the mighty (and bratty) Sun Goddess appears and changes Gokudo's name (she can do that, she's a goddess) to Stinky. Too much fun for words to explain, really.

Review: It's very funny and hard to keep a stright face most of the time. If you like dragon half you'll love this one.
